Abstract

This study aims to determine; 1) is there a contribution between arm strength and the ability to shoot sideways style on SMP Negeri 19 Makassar students. 2). Is there a contribution between the explosive power of the arm muscles and the ability to shoot a sideways style shot at SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. 3). Is there a contribution between the balance and the ability to shoot sideways style on students of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. 4) Is there a contribution between arm muscle strength, arm muscle explosive power and balance together on the sideways force shot put ability of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar students. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students at SMP Negeri 19 Makassar, totaling 115 students. The sample in this study amounted to 43 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling (randomly). Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded as follows: 1) There is a significant contribution between arm muscle strength variables on the sideways force shot put ability of students of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar, amounting to 33.7% with an R value of 0.580 (Pvalue = 0.000 <α 0.05). 2) There is a significant contribution between the variable explosive power of the arm muscles to the ability to shoot sideways style bullets at SMP Negeri 19 Makassar, amounting to 65.2% with an R value of 0.807 (Pvalue = 0.000 <α 0.05). 3) There is a significant contribution between the balance variable on the sideways force shot-put ability of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar students, amounting to 22.2% with an R value of 0.471 (Pvalue = 0.001 <α 0.05). 4) There is a significant contribution between the variables of arm muscle strength, arm muscle explosive power and balance together on the sideways force shot put ability of students of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar, amounting to 75.5% with an R value of 0.869 (Pvalue = 0.000< α 0.05); and Fcount value of 40.124.

Abstract

Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional atau disingkat dengan DBON merupakan dokumen rencana induk yang berisikan arah kebijakan pembinaan dan pengembangan keolahragaan nasional yang dilakukan secara efektif, efisien, unggul, terukur, sistematis, akuntabel, dan berkelanjutan dalam lingkup olahraga pendidikan, olahraga rekreasi, olahraga prestasi, dan industri olahraga. Usulan kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi Perhimpunan olahraga yang ada di Kota Pinrang terkait dengan inisiatif peningkatan keterampilan prestasi atlet bagi peserta yang diselenggarakan oleh daerah dan juga oleh perguruan tinggi baik swasta maupun negeri agar masyarakat mengetahui peraturan dan rincian teknis dari mekanisme DBON. Strategi pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari bantuan dan komunikasi ke organisasi olahraga. Kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program pengabdian masyarakat ini masuk dalam kategori Baik dan Puas menurut indeks survei. Dengan keberhasilan program ini diharapkan tahapan selanjutnya yakni dapat mengembangkan sebuah Desain Besar Olahraa Nasional bagi cabang olahraga lainnya yang belum masuk kedalam kategori pengabdian pada tahun ini.

Abstract

Interest is a tendency that lasts a long time towards an object or in carrying out an activity (action) which is based on feelings of interest, pleasure that arises from within. Interest plays a very important role in students' lives and has a big impact on attitudes and behavior. Students who are interested in learning activities will try harder than students who are less interested. Football is a game that is played by kicking the ball to and fro which is contested by the players with the aim of putting the ball into the opponent's goal and defending its own goal so that the ball does not concede. In playing the ball, each player is allowed all limbs, except for the hands and arms. The data collection method in this study uses a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The results of this study are interest indicators that influence students in playing soccer by factors internal and external factors, interest indicators contribute as much as 14%, attention indicators 18%, activity indicators 14%, family indicators 16%, school indicators 20%, and environmental indicators 20%

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan tingkat aktivitas fisik dan kebugaran yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik SMK di empat kota di Indonesia (Jakarta, Tangerang, Batam, dan Makassar), serta hubungan antara aktivitas fisik tersebut dengan kegiatan diseminasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Studi ini menggunakan survei dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 200 peserta didik SMK dari empat sekolah yang berbeda yang dipilih secara acak. Data tentang aktivitas fisik dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan data tentang kebugaran fisik dikumpulkan melalui tes kebugaran. Kekuatan otot, kelentukan, daya tahan kardiovaskular, dan koordinasi adalah enam belas item yang digunakan dalam tes kebugaran. Denyut Nadi diukur sebelum dan sesudah tes kebugaran. Observasi dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data sosialisasi tentang aktivitas fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara sosialisasi aktivitas fisik dan kebugaran peserta didik SMK di empat kota tersebut. Selain itu, ada variasi dalam tingkat aktivitas fisik dan tingkat kebugaran peserta didik SMK.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of physical condition and concentration on short-serve performance in badminton among elementary school students. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, involving two independent variables, physical condition and concentration, and one dependent variable, short-serve performance. The study was conducted in an elementary school setting with a population of all students, and simple random sampling technique using the lottery method was applied to select 30 students as sample. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple correlation techniques via SPSS, with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results reveal three key findings: (1) Physical condition has a statistically significant relationship with short-serve performance (r = 0.828; p < 0.05), accounting for 68.5% of the performance variation. (2) Concentration also shows a significant effect (r = 0.843; p < 0.05), contributing 71.1%. (3) When combined, physical condition and concentration have a significant joint contribution to short-serve performance (R = 0.871; p = 0.031 < 0.05), explaining 75.8% of the variance. The analysis indicates the probability of these results occurring by chance is low, and therefore, the influence of the variables is considered reliable and meaningful in a statistical sense. These findings highlight the importance of both physical readiness and mental focus in improving badminton skills at the elementary level. Future research is recommended to explore additional factors, such as coaching methods or motivation, that may also impact badminton performance, and to expand the study to a larger and more diverse student population.
