The hypothesis testing technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the Poverty Reduction Acceleration Program as measured by the variables of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and processing simultaneously has a significant effect on farmers' income from corn farming. The partial test results prove that the variables of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and processing have a significant effect on farmers' income from corn farming in Paleleh District, Buol Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This indicates that optimizing the strategy of providing seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and their processing can change the quality of corn farmers' harvests which can have an impact on people's desire to buy crops while being able to increase the income of corn farmers in the area, especially in Paleleh District, Buol Regency, Sulawesi Province. Abstract

The government aims to assist villages in achieving independence and self-sufficiency through the allocation of Village Fund. This fund is divided into 30% for the operational expenses of the Village Government and BPD (Village Consultative Body), and 70% for enhancing community empowerment and building the capacity of the Village Government. The objective of this study is to examine how ADD is managed in empowering the community of Watutau village. The research methodology employed is descriptive qualitative research conducted in Watutau Village, Lore Peore Sub-district. Data collection involved triangulation methods including in-depth interviews with village officials and community members, direct field observations, and comprehensive document analysis of village financial records. The findings of the research indicate that some of the Village Fund allocated for community empowerment is utilised for covering the operational costs of the village government and BPD. This allocation disparity (93.42% for governance versus 6.58% for empowerment) contradicts the mandated 30/70 distribution ratio and undermines the fund's primary purpose of fostering community self-sufficiency and development. These results highlight the need for enhanced oversight mechanisms and policy reforms to ensure Village Fund allocation achieves its intended community empowerment objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to identify economic potential in a particular region by determining the leading sectors and commodities that have high competitiveness. The analysis was conducted using quantitative methods through the Location Quotient (LQ) and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) approaches that focus on measuring the relative advantages of economic sectors. Based on the results of the LQ analysis, the leading sector identified is the tobacco processing industry with an LQ value of 7.52, indicating a high concentration of activity compared to other regions. The next sector is the gas procurement and ice industry with an LQ value of 6.30, and the food crop subsector in the agricultural sector with an LQ value of 3.76. The RCA analysis revealed that rice is a leading commodity with the highest RCA value, namely 1.64, followed by sweet potatoes with an RCA value of 1.18. Furthermore, the RCACost analysis that takes into account the cost factor of economic activities strengthens the position of rice as a leading and sustainable commodity, with an RCACost value of 1.51.

Abstract

This study employs a quantitative research approach with a descriptive methodology to analyze spatial interconnections between provinces in Indonesia. The research utilizes panel data regression, assisted by EViews software, and a Spatial Autoregressive (SAR) fixed effects model using R software. The spatial panel regression testing results indicate that the SAR fixed effects model is the most appropriate. The findings reveal that inflation (X1), exports (X3), and national health insurance (X6) have significant effects on economic growth. Global spatial autocorrelation was analyzed using the Moran Index and the Local Indicator of Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA) to identify provinces with spatial autocorrelation from 2019 to 2023. For inflation, 13 provinces exhibit spatial interconnections, namely West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, North Sumatra, North Maluku, Papua, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung Islands, West Kalimantan, DKI Jakarta, West Sumatra, Jambi, and South Sumatra. For exports, 11 provinces demonstrate significant spatial interconnections, including West Java, Central Java, Lampung, South Sumatra, Jambi, North Maluku, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung Islands, DI Yogyakarta, Papua, and Southeast Sulawesi. Meanwhile, for national health insurance, 11 provinces show significant spatial interconnections: Southeast Sulawesi, West Sumatra, Papua, Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Islands, West Kalimantan, and North Kalimantan.
