Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the Quantum Learning model based on the Scientific approach can provide better learning outcomes rather than direct learning model. This research is a quasi experimental research with matching static group comparison design. The research instrument used to obtain data is in the form of documentation and test. The calculation of the hypothesis test the value of tcount > ttable where tcount = 1.83 and ttable = 1.68 at the significant level of 5% with dk=50. The conclusions from the analysis of the hypothesis test is that the Quantum Learning model based on Scientific approach provides better learning outcomes than students who were taught using direct learning models.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar, (2) mengetahui hubungan analisis sastra dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar. Data yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini bukan berupa angka, tetapi berupa kata-kata dalam bentuk kutipan-kutipan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah ditemukan berbagai masalah sosial yang ada dalam novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar antara lain masalah kemiskinan, masalah kejahatan, masalah disorganisasi keluarga, masalah lingkungan hidup, dan masalah kekerasan. Selain berbagai masalah sosial, pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan hubungan hasil penelitian dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA pada kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Children with special needs refer to they who had educational need and additional needs because of certain physical, mental, or emotional condition. They needed special teaching approach and additional sources to support their learning process. Therefore, this community service aimed to teach student using Si Raca App. The method consisted of three main stages, namely 1) preparation stage, 2) implementation stage, and 3) evaluation stage. The subjects of this community service were children with special needs who got difficulties in early reading. The subjects were 4 students with different special needs. This service was conducted at SLB Negeri Tambahrejo. Data was collected using observation, interview, and documentation. Results of this community service showed that in the preparation stage, initial assessment about students' backgrounds was conducted. In the implementation stage, it was focused on the use of Si Raca App. It was started from introducing alphabets using visual and audio media. In the evaluation stage, it utilized word puzzles in Si Raca App. These puzzles were designed to test children's skill in recognizing and arranging words. It could be concluded that three stages of this comnunity service supported the reading skill development of children with special needs using Si Raca App.

Abstract

Indonesian language is a compulsory subject in university level. This subject has been taken by all Indonesian university students with or without disabilities. This study aimed to design Indonesian Language course based on Augmented Reality (AR) and interactive website that were adapted for blind students. This study was developmental research using ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students with disabilities in private universities at East Java, Indonesia. Result of study showed that in analysis stage there were five things needed by disability students. In the design stage, flowchart and storyboard were made. In the developmental stage, website structures were built using WordPress; while Augmented Reality was designed using Unity platform. In the implementation stage, limited and extensive trial tests were conducted. In the evaluation stage, there were two main activities. First, students were given tests. Second, product was revised. Conclusion of this study was learning materials of Indonesian language course could be developed by implementing ADDIE model, so it could be used by blind students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahasa pencitraan pada level kosakata dan mendeskripsikan level gramatika dalam wacana iklan Pilkada Kabupaten Tuban 2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pencitraan Pasangan Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati kabupaten Tuban 2015 pada 1) level kosa kata ditemukan adanya bentuk (a) klasifikasi kosa kata, (b) kosa kata yang diperjuangkan, (c) kosa kata yang memarjinalkan orang lain, dan (d) kosa kata yang bernuansa kedaerahan. 1) pada level gramatika, ditemukan adanya bentuk (a) modalitas, (b) pronomina, (c) kalimat positif-negatif, dan (d) kata penghubung.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) describe and explain the process of using WETROSE (Procedural Text Website) as a medium to implement the Merdeka Belajar Program for junior high school students and (2) describe the results of using the procedure text website (WETROSE) to implement the Merdeka Belajar Program for junior high school students. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) the use of WETROSE has several stages, i.e., pre-test, inviting students to learn through WETROSE level 1, inviting students to learn through WETROSE level 2, and post-test; (2) after learning through WETROSE, it was discovered that there was a pleasant atmosphere in the learning process, there was flexibility for students to carry out the procedure text learning process according to their level of ability, and students felt satisfaction. Based on the research, it is concluded that the Procedure Text Website (WETROSE) can make learning more enjoyable and is capable of assisting in the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Program in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of an interactive approach in students' social interactions and its impact on speaking skills in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program (PBSI) at IKIP Bojonegoro. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observations and interviews. The results indicate that the application of the interactive approach creates a dynamic and participative learning environment. During the learning process, students engage in group discussions, role-playing, and other collaborative activities. This not only enhances their speaking skills but also encourages critical thinking and the exchange of ideas. Classroom observations reveal that students are more willing to express their opinions and ask questions, which had previously been a challenge for them. From the interviews, students reported feeling more motivated and confident when speaking in public after participating in these interactive activities. Additionally, the social interactions that occurred during the learning process strengthened relationships among students, creating a more familiar and supportive classroom atmosphere. Thus, the interactive approach proves effective in improving students' speaking skills as well as enhancing the quality of social interactions within the classroom.
