Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan pembelajaran memproduksi teks anekdot yang menggunakan model sinektiks dan Problem Based Instruction pada gaya kognitif siswa dalam mengoptimalkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian analisis jalur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA pada dua sekolah yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa model pembelajaran sinektiks lebih sesuai diterapkan pada siswa bergaya kognitif field independen dan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction lebih sesuai diterapkan pada siswa bergaya kognitif field dependent. Kedua model pada gaya kognitif siswa tersebut terdapat perbedaan kefektifan Kata Kunci: memproduksi teks anekdot, model sinektiks, problem based instruction, gaya kognitif   Abstract This study aims to test the effectiveness of learning to produce an anecdotes text that uses the sinektiks and Problem Based Instruction models on cognitive styles of students in optimizing the learning process and results. Research using quasi-experimental method with analitist study design. Data collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The subjects were students senior high school of X class at two different schools. The result of research indicating that learning models is more appropriate sinektiks applied to the field independent cognitive style and problem based learning models is more applied field dependent cognitive style. Abstract

Abstract: To support teaching of languange error analysis, textbook; which is suitable with the 21st century competences; is needed. This study is a form of research and development with several stages. In this stage, the researchers describe the needs for developing extbook of language error analysis viewed from students' and lecturer's point of views. The research instruments are questionnaire, observation, and interview to the students and lecturer at Language and Literature Education Department of FKIP UNISSULA. The total students is 45 persons in  the even semester. The results of study reveal that 1) students and lecturer have many troubles such as there is no textbook of Language error analysis which is suitable with the 21st century competence. 2. Textbook which is needed by students can support the learning objectives. 3. The materials in the textbook consist of language error analysis, types of error, aspects of error in 4 language competences, the implementation of language error analysis. 4. Textbook is developed based on completeness if content, attractiveness of presentation, language, and graphics. 5. Textbook is developed using 6 criteria: valid, significance, interesting, consistency, adequacy, and basic pattern of developed teaching materials. 6. Textbook is printed and can be accessed digitally Keywords: Need analysis, textbook development, language error analysis, 21st century competences  Abstrak: Untuk menunjang perkuliahan Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa, maka dibutuhkan buku ajar yang sesuai dengan kompetensi abad 21. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian RnD dengan beberapa tahapan. Pada tahap ini peneliti mendeskripsikan kebutuhan pengembangan buku ajar Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa dari sisi mahasiswa dan dosen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kebutuhan, observasi, dan wawancara kepada mahasiswa dan dosen di Program studi PBSI, FKIP Unissula sebanyak 45 mahasiswa semester genap angkatan 2020. Hasil penelitian nenunjukkan bahwa 1) mahasiswa dan dosen mengalami kendala dalam perkuliahan, yaitu belum adanya buku ajar Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa yang sesuai dengan kompetensi abad 21, 2) buku ajar yang diperlukan oleh mahasiswa adalah yang dapat menunjang tujuan pembelajaran, 3) materi di dalam buku ajar berisi tentang: analisis kesalahan berbahasa, jenis dan daerah kesalahan, kesalahan berbahasa pada 4 aspek keterampilan berbahasa, dan penerapan dan pemanfaatan analisis kesalahan berbahasa, 4) buku ajar dikembangkan berdasarkan aspek kelengkapan isi, kemenarikan penyajian, kebahsaan, dan kegrafikaan, 5) buku ajar dikembangkan dengan 6 kriteria atau prinsip : benar dan sahih (valid), kebermanfaatan, menarik, konsistensi, adekuasi (kecukupan), dan landasan pola-pola pengembangan bahan ajar, serta 6) buku ajar dikemas tidak hanya dalam bentuk buku cetak, tetapi bisa diakses secara digital. Kata Kunci: analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan buku ajar, analisis kesalahan berbahasa, kompetensi abad 21

Abstract

Abstract: Political communications can be done by using the selection of speech code in accordance with  its purposes and functions. This study aims to find and describes instances, functions, and patterns of speech code which is selected  by Ridwan Kamil in his Instagram's political communication as mayor of Bandung . The data are collected via observation method and other advanced techniques such as uninvolved conversation observation technique, documentation technique, and writing technique. The data are analyzed using Miles and Huberman analysis model, contextual method, and comparative method. The instance of  Ridwal Kamil’s speech code selection in political communication in Instagram were 1) intra-code in English, formal Indonesian, and Sundanese; 2) code switching in the form of code switching, register switching , and variety switching ; 3) code mixing in the form of  interpolation of word, phrase, clause, word-idiom, and word-phrase. The patterns of speech code selection of Ridwan Kamil in political communication was vertical pattern. The function of speech code selection were  individual, cultural, communal and educational. Abstrak: Komunikasi politik dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan pilihan kode tutur sesuai dengan tujuan dan fungsinya. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis wujud, pola, dan fungsi pilihan kode tutur Ridwan Kamil sebagai Wali kota Bandung dalam komunikasi politik di Instagram. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak menggunakan teknik simak bebas  libat cakap (SBLC), teknik dokumentasi, dan teknik catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman, metode padan, dan metode kontekstual. Wujud pilihan kode tutur Ridwan Kamil dalam komunikasi politik di Instagram meliputi 1) tunggal kode dan variasinya yang berupa kode  Inggris, kode Indonesia ragam formal, dan kode Sunda; 2) alih kode yang berupa alih bahasa, alih register, dan alih ragam; serta 3) campur kode yang berupa penyisipan kata, frasa, klausa, kata-idiom, dan kata-frasa. Pola pilihan kode tutur Ridwan Kamil dalam komunikasi politik adalah pola vertikal. Fungsi pilihan kode tutur meliputi fungsi personal, kebudayaan, kemasyarakatan, dan pendidikan. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar menggali informasi dari teks narasi sejarah untuk menanamkan karakter pada peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, menganalisis kebutuhan bahan ajaryang dikembangkan, mendeskripsikan karakteristik bahan ajaryang dikembangkan, menentukan prototipe bahan ajaryang dikembangkan, dan menguji keberterimaan bahan ajaryang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan analisis data, diketahui bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berkategori valid dengan rata-rata kevalidan buku siswa 84,1% dan buku guru 85,6%. Guru dan peserta didik memberikan respons sangat setuju terhadap bahan ajar menggali informasi dari teks narasi sejarah.Uji gain menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 0,59 dengan kriteria sedang. Bahan ajar menggali informasi dari teks narasi sejarah mampu meningkatkan karakter peserta didik, melalui pengamatan sikap didapat rata-rata peningkatan 86% menggali. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar  menggali informasi dari teks narasi sejarah valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, selain itu penerapan bahan ajar menggali informasi dari teks narasi sejarah dapat menanamkan karakter positif dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a model of Indonesian language skill learning with multicultural contexts. It employed a research and development design and the tryout was conducted through action research. The model of  multicultural learning integrated into the Indonesian language subject is divided into four stages, i.e. orientation/apperception, exploration, concept finding, and application. The model is supplemented by a learning package guide, a syllabus, lesson plans, learning materials, and evaluation. The model has a sequence consisting of six stages, i.e. orientation, hypothesis, definition, exploration, proof, and generalization. The model has been tried out in three schools in Central Java.

Abstract

Character in literature plays an important role in constructing human identity. One of the characters in the literature is the Islamic character values. The Islamic character consists of four aspects namely faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), muamalah, and morals. The novel Markesot Bertutur is one of the novels that has Islamic character values. In this novel, there are 21 values of faith, 13 values of morals, and 188 values of worship.

Abstract

Penalaran adalah proses berpikir yang sistematik dan logis untuk memperoleh sebuah simpulan. Tujuan penelitian ini dalah untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan pola argumen dalam karangan argumentasi siswa tahap operasi formal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan model analisis dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pola penalaran argumen siswa tahap operasi formal terdiri atas lima pola penalaran argumen dengan beberapa variasi bentukan. Pola yang digunakan siswa tahap operasi formal tidak terpaku pada jenjang sekolah. Pola yang paling sederhana, yakni pola (C-G) ternyata masih digunakan oleh siswa tahap operasi formal jenjang SMA. Begitu pula pada pola yang paling kompleks, yakni pola (C-G-W-B-MQ-PR) ternyata sudah mulai digunakan oleh siswa tahap operasi formal awal yaitu jenjang SMP. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap operasi formal, daya pikir siswa sudah sangat kreatif dan variatif. Reasoning is a systematic and logical process of thinking to derive a conclusion. The purpose of this study is to find and describe the pattern of arguments in the student's argumentation of the formal operation phase. This research is a qualitative research with analysis model from Miles and Huberman. The result of this research is the reasoning pattern of students' argument of formal operation stage consists of five argument reasoning pattern with some formation variation. The pattern used by students in the formal operation phase is glued to the school level. The simplest pattern, while the pattern (C-G) was still used by students of the formal operation stage of senior high school. Similarly, in the most complex pattern, the pattern (C-G-W-B-MQ-PR) was already started to be used by the students of the formal operation phase of junior high school. These findings indicate that in the formal operation phase, students' thinking power has been very creative and varied.

Abstract

Humanist literacy is an awareness of reading and understanding human phenomena that can be created through critical reading activities. Critical reading activities aim to reflect on the reading results so that they can make wise decisions on how to think and behave humanely. Decision-making skills need to be improved through critical reading learning with a humanist literacy approach. The problem so far is the unavailability of future learning designs by integrating humanist literacy through critical reading activities. Therefore, this study focuses on how to integrate humanist literacy in critical reading activities as an alternative direction for future language learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the grand design of integrating humanist literacy in critical reading activities as an alternative direction for future language learning. This research is a development research of one part of the development research procedure. The data for this study were sourced from the comments of lecturers and students from questionnaires distributed online. This research instrument was developed based on the concept of language learning, characteristics of humanist literacy, and characteristics of critical reading that have been validated. Data analysis was carried out critically reflectively by using tagCrow and AntCont applications. The results of the study prove that the grand design of integrating humanist literacy in critical reading activities can be carried out through communicating humanist literacy, collaborating humanist literacy, and humanist critical thinking with sub-skills of analyzing, interpreting, inferring, evaluating, explaining, and regulating oneself in a humanistic manner to make decisions. wisely according to the principles of humanistic life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of teaching materials for critical reading of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu texts that link the humanist literacy desired by lecturers and students in Riau Province, Indonesia. This research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data are in the form of questionnaires and interviews from research respondents. The respondents of this study involved lecturers and students in Riau Province. Data validation is done by triangulation of sources and methods. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out reflectively with the help of TagCrowd and AntCont. Based on the study that has been carried out, it is found that the characteristics of critical reading teaching materials desired by students and lecturers in Riau Province include, (1) teaching materials must be oriented towards humanist literacy activities, (2) use the Tunjuk Ajar Melayu text, (3) be oriented towards an attitude approach. and behavior (psychodidactic), (4) has material that is in accordance with the characteristics of Malay culture, (5) has language that is in line with the context of Malay language and culture, and (6) presentation uses Malay icons which are arranged in detail and systematically. The implications of the results of this study can be to construct and conserve critical reading learning and critical reading teaching materials for the Tunjuk Ajar Melayu text to create student understanding in understanding and integrating humanist values in everyday life. Humanist awareness is important to be formed in facing the challenges of language learning in the millennial era.

Abstract

Learning will be effective if the teacher understands the needs of learning well. The purpose of this study was to explore the needs of teachers in literacy learning on reading comprehension competence in elementary schools. The method used in this research is exploratory qualitative which was conducted at the State Elementary School in Central Magelang Sub-District, Magelang City, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that there are several problems in literacy learning of reading comprehension competence so teachers need several learning innovations as solutions, namely in the learning model by combining problem-based learning models with the SQ3R model, in teaching materials by developing integrated teaching materials with innovative learning models, and on the assessment instrument by developing an assessment instrument oriented towards high order thinking skills (HOTS). The results of this needs analysis will be used to conduct further research as a form of literacy learning innovation in reading comprehension competence.
