Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the acceleration of project execution time using the Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method on the road preservation project of the Biluhu Barat – Gorontalo segment. Delays in construction projects may result in negative impacts on time, cost, and work quality. Therefore, acceleration strategies are required to reduce project duration without compromising cost efficiency. The TCTO method was applied through simulations involving overtime work and the addition of heavy equipment for activities located on the critical path. The data analyzed in this research included the time schedule, Budget Plan (RAB), and Unit Price Analysis (AHSP). Simulations were conducted on 7 critical path work items using Microsoft Project 2021 software. The analysis results indicate that applying the Time Cost Trade Off method with additional overtime hours led to both time and cost efficiency. The project cost under the 1-hour overtime alternative was recorded at IDR 42,011,519,325.19 with a duration of 146 days; for 2-hour overtime, the cost was IDR 42,190,670,502.55 with a duration of 142 days; for 3-hour overtime, the cost reached IDR 42,389,837,881.99 with a duration of 140 days; and for 4-hour overtime, the total cost was IDR 42,624,339,782.86 with a duration of 138 days.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a critical aspect that must not be overlooked, particularly in construction projects, as such projects involve various potential hazards. Therefore, the proper understanding and strict implementation practices are essential to reduce occupational accidents and to create a safe and healthy working environment. This study aims to compare the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health systems across several construction projects in Gorontalo Province and to analyze the application of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) within these projects. The results indicate that the implementation in the Bulango Ulu Dam Construction Project achieved the highest percentage score of 99.64%, followed by the Amaris Hotel 2 Extension Project with a score of 53.57%, and the National Police Food Security Warehouse Construction Project with a score of 41.07%. Overall, based on respondents’ assessments, the combined implementation across the three projects reached a percentage score of 64.76%, which is categorized as good. These findings suggest that the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health practices in construction projects within Gorontalo Province is generally at a good level.

Abstract

Material merupakan elemen utama dalam konstruksi yang mempengaruhi kualitas dan ketahanan proyek. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukan analisis efisiensi material guna mengurangi biaya, meningkatkan kualitas dan mempercepat penyelesaian proyek pembangunan Gedung Perkuliahan Terpadu IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan pada pekerjaan bekisting plat lantai, kolom dan balok lantai 3 yang awalnya digunakan 1,5 kali pakai diubah mejadi 2 kali pakai setelah diefisiensi diperoleh penghematan anggaran sebesar Rp. 211.897.149,00. Pada pekerjaan plat lantai menghemat anggaran sebesar Rp. 60,599.149,00 atau 10,52% dari Rp. 674.577.191,97 menjadi Rp. 613.978.191,97 setelah diefisiensi. Sementara itu pekerjaan kolom menghemat anggaran sebesar Rp. 101.851.232,00 atau 16,46% dari Rp. 720.350.492,00 setelah diefisensi menjadi sebesar Rp. 618.499.262,00. Begitu pula pada pekerjaan balok anggaran sebesar Rp. 582.445.071,38 setelah diefisiensi sebesar Rp. 532.998.154,38 sehingga menghemat anggaran sebesar Rp. 49.446.971,00 atau 9,27%. Efisiensi material sangat penting untuk keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perencanaan, ketersediaan material, teknik konstruksi, dan pemenfaatan yang efektif. Dengan mengoptimalkan faktor-faktor ini dapat meminimalkan pemborosan, menghemat biaya, meningkatkan kualitas, memenuhi tenggat waktu proyek dan meningkatkan produktivitas.
