Abstract

The purposes of this study are to determine the internal controls over the credit which is applied on UEK-SP Primadana Sejahtera Pekanbaru. Types of data which are used in this study are secondary data and primary data. Data were obtained by documenting and interviewing with credit division. Techniques which are used to collect the data in this research are by interviewing and filling questionnaire. Techniques using for data analysis are descriptive and sign test method. Variable which is used in this reseacrh is a component of internal control as control environment, risk assessment, information and communication, control activities, and monitoring.The result of research showed that control environment, risk assessment, and monitoring has not been running well, information and communication, control activities has been running well, and when it was observed as a whole has been running well. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengendalian internal terhadap pemberian kredit yang diterapkan pada UEK-SP Primadana Sejahtera Pekanbaru. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dan data primer. Data tersebut diperoleh dari dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan bagian kredit. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan wawancara dan pengisian angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan metode uji tanda (sign test). Variabel yang digunakan dalam peneitian ini adalah komponen pengendalian internalterdiri dari lingkungan pengendalian, penilaian risiko, informasi dan komunikasi, aktivitas pengendalian, dan pengawasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan pengendalian, penilaian risiko, dan pengawasan belum berjalan dengan baik, informasi dan komunikasi, aktivitas pengendalian sudah berjalan dengan baik, dan jika dilihat secara keseluruhan sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of leadership style, work motivation, work environment on job satisfaction and employee organizational commitmen in Pelita Indonesia Pekanbaru College. Data collection technique are interview, questionnaire, and employee data. The population in this research are the employees at Pelita Indonesia Pekanbaru College, the samples by using sampling saturated method, the number of 65 people.Analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).Results showedthe leadership style have not significantimpact onjob satisfaction,leadership style have not significant impact onemployee organizational commitmen, work motivationhave not significant impact on job satisfaction, work motivationhave not significant impact onemployee organizational commitmen,work environmenthave significant impact on job satisfaction,work environmenthave not significant impact onemployee organizational commitmen, job satisfactionhave not significant impact onemployee organizational commitment. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi karyawan di Perguruan Tinggi Pelita Indonesia Pekanbaru.Teknik mengumpulkan data adalah wawancara, penyebaran angket, dan data karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Perguruan Tinggi Pelita Indonesia Pekanbaru, pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode sampel jenuh, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 65 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan, motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikanterhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan, kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the influence of price to book value on capital structure and profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. The population in this study was 12 companies at health and pharmaceutical sub-sector companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. The sampling technique was done using the purposive sampling method. Based on the sample criteria, there were 8 companies that matched the sample criteria. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21. The results showed (1) PBV variable had a positive and significant influence on capital structure of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. (2) PBV variable had no significant influence on profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. (3) Capital structure variable had no significant influence on profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019.

Abstract

This study aims to increase accounting students' understanding of one-way ANOVA. This study uses a simple example of deposit interest from several national banks to facilitate analysis. This study used one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) which was used to analyze differences in means between groups and related procedures. The results showed that the calculated F value > F table, which means the hypothesis is accepted. It is true that there are significant differences in deposit interest rates between Bank Anz Indonesia, Bank Bukopin, Bank Central Asia, and Bank Cimb Niaga. Understanding this material is important and relevant to the world of accounting and finance. It is hoped that this research can become a basis for further research and educational development efforts in strengthening statistical understanding among accounting students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, leadership, and competence on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Pekanbaru City. This research is quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sample selection method in this study used the census method so the sample in this study was 78 respondents. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS 3 application. The results of this study indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational culture has an effect not significant to employee performance, leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Sulam Suji merupakan salah satu teknik sulam yang diwariskan turun – temurun di Koto Gadang. Teknik membuat sulaman suji cair merupakan Teknik yang sulit dan membutuhkan waktu lama dalam pengerjaannya. Umumnya Sulaman suji ini dapat menghiasi beberapa produk seperti selendang, baju kurung, songket bahkan pakaian tradisional. Namun, masalah yang dihadapi oleh pesulam suji adalah kurangnya ilmu dalam pemasaran produk-produk mereka. Oleh karena itu, PT Pergadaian menyelenggarakan ”Pelatihan Mengelolah dan Mengembangkan Pemasaran Produk Berbasis Digital Bagi Para Pesulam Suji Koto Gadang” yang dihadiri oleh 22 pesulam dari Desa Subarang Tigo Jorong. Melalui pelatihan ini para peserta diajarkan tentang digital marketing dan bagaimana cara, tips dan melakukan praktek untuk mempromosikan produk – produk mereka di social media untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan juga promosi produk lokal yaitu Sulam Suji asal Koto Gadang ini.

Abstract

Memasuki era globalisasi, kecenderungan jiwa manusia dipengaruhi oleh permainan cyber digital lebih kuat, sehingga setiap orang bisa mengakses informasi yang ada di mana saja. Ketidakterbatasan ini menyebabkan salah satu fungsi pokok penegakan kedaulatan bangsa adalah tentang rasa nasionalisme terhadap bangsanya sendiri. Peran pemuda sangat dibutuhkan sehingga mampu menjadi penopang pembangunan bangsa. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mempertahankan dan menumbuhkan jiwa nasionalisme kebangsaan pemuda Indonesia. Adapun metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah melalui seminar tatap muka. Harapan yang diinginkan adalah terjadinya penumbuhan rasa kebangsaan terhadap negara kesatuan Republik Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of Locus of Control and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Employee Performance. It also aims to explore the role of OCB as a mediating variable in the relationship between Locus of Control, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance among personnel in the Accounting Department of Panca Eka Pekanbaru (Naval Base V Pekanbaru). The research design adopts a causal approach with a quantitative methodology. The sampling method employed is saturated sampling, and primary data is collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis is conducted using the Partial Least Square method. The study involves fifty accounting staff members from Panca Eka Pekanbaru. Evaluating Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the accounting staff is crucial due to its significance in defining the responsibilities of Navy personnel across different units. Job Satisfaction also plays a vital role in enhancing work performance. The accounting department of Panca Eka Pekanbaru emphasizes the importance of optimal employee performance. This emphasis is rooted in the perspective of the accounting staff regarding their control over internal and external events in their lives. The findings of the study are as follows: (1) Locus of Control does not significantly affect Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB); (2) Job Satisfaction positively influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB); (3) Both Locus of Control and Job Satisfaction have an impact on Employee Performance; (4) Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) does not significantly influence Employee Performance; (5) Locus of Control and Job Satisfaction do not significantly affect Employee Performance through the mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).
