Abstract

In order to improve economic performance, increasing labor productivity is very important, because the higher the productivity of the workforce, the more its competitiveness will increase. This study aims to analyze the effect of the tourism sector, human capital, and economic openness on the total factor productivity in Bali Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in the form of data on capital formation, labor, average length of schooling, and export-import in Bali Province from 1985 - 2019. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the tourism sector and the quality of human capital had a positive effect on total factor productivity in Bali Province during 1985 – 2019, while economic openness had a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

Family welfare is the main priority in the nation’s social welfare because the family is the smallest unit in society. The family has an important role in achieving national development goals, so family development is needed to create a prosperous family. The aim of the research is to provide empirical evidence of the influence of human capital, product innovation and online marketing on the welfare of micro, small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs. This scientific article employs qualitative methodologies and conducts literature reviews or library research as its approach. The research results show that human capital plays an important role in maintaining a business in the face of changing market situations. Product innovation carried out in an effort to increase the availability of various products can improve welfare. The use of digital marketing is becoming increasingly important for Micro, Small, dan Medium. Various recommendations can be provided to effectively oversee human capital, innovation, and online marketing in order to enhance human well-being. These include enhancing individuals’ capabilities and skills in adapting and innovating with information technology for business operations, achieved through heightened engagement in relevant training and ongoing studies in the respective field.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the determinants of entrepreneurship and performance of micro-small business actors (MSEs) has been carried out, but research on the role of entrepreneurship and performance on the welfare of MSE actors is limited. This study analyzes the role of BUMDes resources and social capital on Artisans' entrepreneurship, performance, and welfare. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews and analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results show that BUMDes resources have not played a role, while social capital has been proven. The implications of research on BUMDes management and Village Community Empowerment Institutions must further introduce the existence of BUMDes. This will increase the interaction of BUMDes managers with the village community. The Ministry of Industry and Trade should work together to create an association of artisans of export products.  The next researcher is advised to examine the role of the government.

Abstract

Tabanan mempunyai peluang baik dalam penggabungan sektor pertanisan dan pariwisata. Meskipun Kabupaten Tabanan memiliki berbagai daya tarik wisata yang beragam tetapi jumlah kunjungan wisatawan yang berlibur ke Kabupaten Tabanan masih berfluktuatif cenderung mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di destinasi wisata Tanah Lot, Alas Kedaton, Air Panas Penatahan, Jatiluwih, dan juga Taman Kupu-kupu, Kabupaten Tabanan dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan accidental sampling sebagai teknik penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh daya tarik wisata, kualitas pelayanan, dan persepsi harga terhadap niat kunjungan kembali wisatawan. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa daya tarik wisata, kualitas pelayanan, dan persepsi harga memiliki pengaruh yang positif serta signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan dan niat kunjungan kembali wisatawan. Daya tarik wisata, kualitas pelayanan, dan persepsi harga memiliki pengaruh secara posiif serta signifikan terhadap niat kunjungan kembali wisatawan melalui kepuasan wisatawan. Upaya untuk meningkatkan niat kunjungan kembali wisatawan pada 5 destinasi wisata adalah dengan memperhatikan daya tarik sebagai suatu peran penting dalam destinasi wisata, kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan kepada wisatawan, harga yang sesuai dengan yang ditawarkan, serta memperhatikan kepuasan wisatawan

Abstract

Indonesia, sebuah negara agraris dengan kekayaan sumber daya alam yang melimpah, menempatkan pertanian dan perkebunan sebagai pilar ekonomi utama melalui ekspor. Pada tahun 2022, sektor ini menyumbang 51% dari total ekspor non-migas di Indonesia, dengan hortikultura tanaman biofarmaka, terutama jahe, menjadi primadona ekspor. Fluktuasi volume ekspor jahe selama tahun 2009-2022 dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh jumlah produksi, luas areal lahan panen, nilai tukar, dan inflasi terhadap volume ekspor jahe di Indonesia. Data time series dari tahun 2009-2022 digunakan dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa jumlah produksi, luas lahan panen, nilai tukar, dan inflasi secara bersama-sama dan individu mempengaruhi volume ekspor jahe. Jumlah produksi dan luas lahan panen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, bersama dengan nilai tukar dan inflasi yang juga berpengaruh positif terhadap volume ekspor jahe.

Abstract

The success of the development of a region can be measured through indicators of economic growth which have increased showing that regional development is evenly distributed so that it touches all levels of society. This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of hotel rooms, employment, and the number of tourist visits on the economic growth of the Bali Province in the tourism sector. This study uses panel data, which is a combination of time series data and cross sections (9 regencies/cities in Bali Province) with a total of 45 observations. The data source used in this research is a secondary data source. The analysis technique used in this research is panel data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the simultaneous and partial influence of the number of hotel rooms, employment, and the number of tourist visits has had on the economic growth of the Province of Bali during the Covid-19 pandemic in the tourism sector. Partially, the number of hotel rooms has an effect, employment has an effect and the number of tourist visits has no effect on the economic growth of the Province of Bali during the Covid-19 pandemic in the tourism sector. keyword: Number Of Hotel Rooms, Employment, Number Of Tourist Visit. Abstract

The tourism is one of the sources of foreign exchange income for a country. One of the provincesin Indonesia that has the largest tourism-leading sector is Bali Province. Through the developmentof tourism villages and community-based tourism, it is expected to improve the communitywelfare. This Study aimed to analyze the effect of community participation, government role, andcommunity empowerment on tourism village development and community welfare in TabananRegency. The population of this study is the community involved in tourism village developmentin Tabanan Regency, namely Pinge Tourism Village and Jatiluwih Tourism Village. The samplingtechnique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique, and weobtained a sample of 138 observational samples. Data analysis techniques were used in the studyusing a structural equation model (SEM) with partial least squares (PLS) software. The analysisresults show that community participation, government role, and community empowermentpositively and significantly affect community welfare through tourism village development inTabanan Regency. The community and government can maintain tourism village development toimprove the welfare of rural communities and the facilities needed to meet the needs of touristvillages.

Abstract

Population growth in Indonesia is getting bigger and bigger, the increasing population in Indonesia has an impact on increasing the number of workers. The total population of Indonesia in 2022 is 275,773,800 people spread across various provinces, the number of working-age people in 2022 is 209,420,383 people spread across various provinces, the number of labor force in 2022 is 143,722,644 people spread across various provinces, and the number of working population in 2022 is 135,296,713 people spread across various provinces. If the amount of labor exceeds market demand, it can lead to unemployment problems which will increase the probability of poverty, and socio-economic phenomena in society such as crime and other phenomena. This study aims to determine how the influence of three factors that theoretically have an influence on labor absorption. The three factors are inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and Provincial Minimum Wage. The data used is panel data for five years, from 2018-2022. The data analysis technique used is panel data analysis with the EViews application. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of inflation, gross regional domestic product, and provincial minimum wage had a positive and significant effect on employment in provinces in Indonesia in 2018-2022, and partially the variables of inflation, gross regional domestic product, and provincial minimum wage had a positive and significant effect on employment in provinces in Indonesia in 2018-2022.
