Abstract

Abstract The results of this research describe that: (1) The efforts of Christian Religious Education teachers are to foster, guide and supervise students implementing indicators of national commitment in living a life of religious moderation in the SMKN 1 Palangka Raya environment. Teachers develop students through topics discussed about life in a pluralistic society which are related to indicators of national commitment. Apart from developing teachers, they also guide and supervise students in carrying out national commitments within the SMKN 1 Palangka Raya environment. (2) The Christian Religious Education teacher's efforts are to develop, guide and supervise students implementing anti-violence indicators within the SMKN 1 Palangka Raya environment. The teacher provides guidance that is taught through the topics of the principles of loyalty, justice and love. Teachers also guide and supervise students' behavior at school, apart from that, religious teachers have first practiced non-violence.

Abstract

Pendalaman Alkitab sebagai bagian dari pendidikan menjadi salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana pendidikan warga gereja bagi kaum bapak di jemaat Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis (GKE) Imanuel Kuala Pembuang, Resort GKE Seruyan Hilir, Kabupaten Seruyan, Kalimantan Tengah dalam menjawab tantangan perkembangan psikologi dan perkembangan spiritual yang dapat dilakukan oleh pelayan gereja. Pendalaman Alkitab menjadi sarana diskusi, dari dan untuk kaum bapak yang difasilitasi oleh Pendeta atau gereja untuk saling menguatkan menuju kedewasaan iman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis metode Pendalaman Alkitab dalam Pendidikan Warga Gereja Kaum Bapak di Jemaat Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis (GKE) Imanuel Kuala Pembuang, menganalisis tantangan kaum bapak Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis (GKE) Imanuel Kuala Pembuang dalam menerapkan metode Pendalaman Alkitab untuk Pendidikan Warga Gereja serta menguraikan hasil pendidikan warga gereja bagi kaum bapak melalui metode pendalaman Alkitab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa metode pendalaman Alkitab dalam pendidikan warga gereja kaum bapak memiliki peran penting dalam rangka membentuk dan mempersiapkan kaum bapak yang bertanggung jawab dalam memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual, handal dan berkarakter Kristus di lingkungan keluarga, gereja dan masyarakat, dengan pondasi yang kokoh yaitu Firman Tuhan.

Abstract

Christian families are a community of love, and the smallest unit in the community or congregation that lives to love each other. This research aims to remind parents who are the main educators in the family. Christian education is useful for children's spiritual and physical development in order to grow in knowledge and faith in Christ. Christian education is able to renew the mind, realize a generation that loves God with all heart, soul, mind and strength, loves the righteousness of God and lives for the glory of God. Character is a way of thinking, behaving, cooperating between individuals in the scope of family, society, nation and country. Christian education in children whose parents live separately because of important work, to shape Christian character. The child grows whole in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and character aspects. Keluarga Kristen merupakan komunitas cinta kasih, dan unit terkecil di tengah masyarakat atau jemaat yang hidup saling mengasihi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengingatkan orang tua yang merupakan pendidik utama dalam keluarga. Pendidikan Kristen berguna bagi tumbuh kembang rohani maupun jasmani anak agar bertumbuh dalam pengetahuan serta iman pada Kristus. Pendidikan Kristen mampu memperbaharui akal budi, mewujudkan generasi yang mengasihi Tuhan dengan segenap hati, jiwa, akal budi dan kekuatan, mencintai kebenaran Allah serta hidup bagi kemuliaan Allah. Karakter merupakan cara berfikir, berperilaku, bekerjasama antar individu dalam ruang lingkup keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara. Pendidikan Kristen pada anak yang orang tuanya hidup terpisah karena pekerjaan penting, untuk membentuk karakter Kristiani. Anak bertumbuh secara utuh dalam aspek rohani, intelek, emosi, sosial dan karakternya.

Abstract

Urban communities living in the Mendawai Social Complex, Palangka Raya City are facing various economic challenges, especially income instability due to odd jobs such as construction workers and traditional miners. Community Service (PKM) activities use the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Considering the large area of the PKM location, researchers invite active participation from the GKE Panenga Congregation, which also experiences the same economic problems, to find solutions to these problems. The purpose of this PKM activity is to improve community welfare through three main aspects, namely independence, social capital, and life skills. The results of this PKM activity show that participants can find references for independent businesses that have the potential to increase income through life skills training in the culinary field. Participants also obtain solutions in managing business groups so that they can be sustainable through business coordination training provided by practitioners. Then, there is a re-strengthening of the social capital of the participants through solutions to social problems provided during the PKM activity. In addition, another quite prominent result of this PKM activity is that it not only has a positive impact on the participants but also on the Mendawai Social Complex community, namely the existence of a reference for a business model that can be developed independently. At the end of this PKM activity which uses the Community Based Development (CBD) approach and produces effective community empowerment activities, the researcher suggests that both the government and other private parties also use the same approach to the Mendawai Social Complex community, or other urban communities who are trapped in poverty.

Abstract

The research background originated from the search for field results regarding religious moderation with the study of musical performances in GKE Imanuel Kuala Pembuang, Seruyan, Kalimantan Tengah. Purpose of this research is to describe the challenges, the role of congregational singing in strengthening religious moderation in GKE Imanuel Kuala Pembuang Resort GKE Seruyan Hilir. Qualitative research method used an interview technique with church members, pastors of GKE Seruyan Hilir congregation and correlated it with religious moderation. The results of this study found that church singing has an important role in shaping the character of the people because church singing is one of the means in conveying God's Word. Church singing is a tangible form of teaching as well as proclaiming the gospel to the world where the invitation to moderate life can be found through lyrics, music and singing.
