Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between parental communication and early childhood school readiness at Syifana Lucky Kids Kindergarten. This research is quantitative with a correlation method. This research was carried out at Syifana Lucky Kids Kindergarten Jalan Kualu/Suka Karya Panam. The time of the research was carried out from September to October 2023. The population of this research was children and their parents at Syifana Lucky Kids Kindergarten, totaling 30 children/parents, while the sampling technique used was a census sampling technique so that the research sample was 30 children/parents. The data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation test. The results of the research are that there is a relationship between parental communication and early childhood school readiness at Syifana Lucky Kids Kindergarten as evidenced by the r value > r table or you can also see the sig value less than 0.05 (0.005 <0.005). The conclusion is that the relationship between parental communication and children's school readiness is in the medium category and has a positive relationship.

Abstract

The philosophy of pragmatism has had a positive impact on the world of education in Indonesia, the early history of pragmatism has made us rich in diverse viewpoints, the philosophy of pragmatism was born amidst the onslaught of materialistic and idealist philosophies, the history and development of the philosophy of pragmatism has begun to give birth to great figures making this school survive in all areas of this aspect of life, we can find education based on pragmatism in vocational high schools and Islamic-based schools, experience-based practices and values ​​enrich learning methodology, this article is based on library study methodology which will focus to the literature review, thus enriching the reader's treasures in looking for initial references regarding the Pragmatic school in the field of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak melalui media boneka tangan pada anak Kelompok A di TK Aisiyah Bustanul Atval. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas kolaboratif yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 13 anak yang terdiri dari 6 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berbicara melalui media boneka tangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi (lembar observasi), dan dokumentasi (catatan-catatan selama proses kegiatan berlangsung, video, gambar atau foto, dan RPP). Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini apabila kemampuan berbicara anak telah mencapai 80% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan berbicara melalui media boneka tangan pada anak Kelompok A di TK Aisiyah Bustanul Atval. Hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada saat Siklus I mencapai 58,11%, Siklus II mencapai 91,02%. Hal tersebut telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara melalui media boneka tangan yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Peneliti bercerita menggunakan boneka tangan; 2) Peneliti mengelompokkan anak, tiap kelompok terdiri dari dua atau tiga anak; 3) Anak-anak mengulang kembali cerita yang telah disampaikan oleh peneliti; serta 4) Peneliti memberikan motivasi dan reward berupa “Tanda Bintang
