Abstract

This study aimed to examine the possible impact of individual characteristics of teachers on their job satisfaction in the elementary schools of Southern Papua, Indonesia. To do so, two survey questionnaires were distributed to 319 respondents. Employing the SPSS software version 21, obtained data were statistically analyzed using simple linear regression. Result of the data analysis revealed a significant positive impact of the individual characteristics of teachers on their job satisfaction in the elementary schools of Southern Papua. This study provides knowledge on how the individual characteristics of elementary school teachers affect their job satisfaction within the real context of Southern Papua. Therefore, finding of this study may supposedly contribute the body of knowledge by providing the valuable extension of relevant studies in other parts of Indonesia as well as in other countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resourcesmanagement practices on the sustainability of the company at PT. Manado SejatiPerkasa. In this study, researchers used Armstrong’s theory to describe thepractice of human resource management and De Geus to describe the company’ssustainability. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive methodby spreading the questionnaire 50 respondents who become the sample in thisresearch. Data collection was done with questionnaires that have been tested forvalidity and reliability. And data analysis us is descriptive and inferentialstatistic, consisting of correlation coefficient and simple regression done by usingprogram SPSS for windows version 23.0. The results show that there is asignificant influence beetwen the practice of human resource management on thesustainability of the company. From th results obtained require PT. ManadoSejati Perkasa to maximize human resource management pratices.Keyword: Practices of human resource management, corporate sustainability.

Abstract

The continuity of the organization or company is determined by the existinghuman resources, both quality and quantity. Each organization has differentobjectives and in the implementation is done by employees. Employees are thereforea major factor in corporate activities. Each organization will basically have differentpolicies on the human resources it has to achieve employee productivity. In theachievement that affects the productivity of employees there are many factors thataffect work productivity, among others, is the existence of job satisfaction. With asense of satisfaction in working the employee will show a good personal in thecompany, a positive performance that satisfies the company and arises willingness towork high level of work productivity for the interests of the company, and facilitatethe achievement of corporate goals. Job satisfaction is an evaluation that describes aperson for feeling his attitude, happy or not happy, satisfied or not satisfied in workThe purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employeeproductivity at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Area Manado. Job Satisfaction ismeasured through five indicators, namely Jobs, rewards, supervision of superiors,co-workers, and promotional opportunities. This research is a quantitative researchby using simple linear regression approach. Data collection techniques were done bydistributing questionnaires filled by 39 respondents and analyzed using simpleregression analysis and using test t test hypothesis. From the results of simple linearregression analysis of job satisfaction variables affect the productivity of employeesof PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Area Manado. And result of hypothesis test showthat job satisfaction variable simultaneously have a significant effect to workproductivity of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Area Manado. Based on the resultsof this study, the company can continue to facilitate employees in improving jobsatisfaction so that employee productivity can be achieved..Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Work Productivity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in Bank Prekreditan Rakyat (BPR)office of Prisma Dana Manado, which is in the management of archive that is not veryproductive using work time so that the work quickly accumulate and the limited of humanresources. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence of archivalmanagement to the work efficiency of employees at PT. BPR Prisma Dana Manado. And theconstraints faced are the maintenance of records that there are still records stacked in thecabinet so that the archive becomes easily damaged and also difficult to recover when neededat all times. This can certainly hamper office work. Therefore, there is a need for good andorganized archive management so that it is easier for employees to reinvent the archivequickly. Arrangement arrangement is one of the aspects that must be applied at the office tosupport the achievement of the goal of increasing productivity and efficiency of office work. Inthis research, the method used is descriptive quantitative research method by spreadingquestionnaire 50 respondents who become sample in this research. The data were collected byquestionnaires that have been tested for their validity and reliability. And our data analysis isdescriptive and inferential statistic, consisting of simple correlation coefficient and regressiondone by using program SPSS for windows version 24.0. The results showed that there is asignificant influence between archival management on work efficiency. From these results aredone and followed by analyzing the data obtained, then there is a significant influencebetween the influence of archival management on employee work efficiency at PT.BPRPrisma Dana Manado and this means the work hypothesis or alternative hypothesis accepted.this means there is a positive influence between the management of archives to the workefficiency of employees with a level of influence of 21.3%. for it suggested more increaseagain the existence of filing system and work efficiency.Keywords: Archives management, work efficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the perceptions of the usefulness of information technology, perceptions of ease of information technology, attitudes, behavioral intentions, and behavioral use of information technology. The research benefits are as a contribution to the study of the use of information technology and human resource development. Utilization of information technology in the business world enables companies to have high competitiveness, which in turn allows the success of achieving the expected benefits. The use of information technology is influenced by many factors, among others by the perception of its users. This research uses descriptive method with analysis technique of frequency distribution and percentage. The data used is a statement of perception about the usefulness of information technology, ease of information technology, attitude, intention and behavior, obtained through questionnaires with Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that employees of Hotel Sintesa Peninsula Manado perceive the use of information technology is very supportive of the implementation of the task. They believe the use of information technology is very useful in the implementation of work. Employee perception is related to the usefulness of information technology, ease of use of information technology, attitudes toward information technology, behavioral intent to use information technology, and behavioral use of information technology. There is no difference in perception because of differences in sex, age, and education level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is "To describe how employee perceptions about the application of corporate code of ethics at PT Astra International Tbk. Daihatsu Branch Malalayang Manado ". Benefits in this research is this research is expected to be used as additional reference material for further research and add references of library in department of Administration Science especially Business Administration study program and expected to be used as base and consideration of useful input for company leader and employee at PT. Astra International Tbk, Daihatsu Branch Malalayang Manado. This research uses quantitative method. Data obtained from this research is data through interviews and distribution of questionnaires distributed to all employees. The results of this study indicate that employees' perceptions about the company's code of ethics are seen as important, positive, and beneficial to employees as well as corporate leaders, in performing their duties and fulfilling their respective responsibilities to companies. And, states that the code of ethics that has been applied to the company is working properly. Most employees expressed their view that the code of ethics that has been applied to the employee is satisfactory, the company also treats its employees vaguely without specializing by looking at it in any way. This is evidenced through tabulation of data and scoring of the results that can pass the division of questionnaires. Therefore it can be concluded that most employees agree with the code of ethics that has been applied by the company.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems found in the office of PT. TASPEN (Persero) Manado Branch, which in employee performance lacks productive work motivation by using work time so that the amount of work that is not solved by what is done by each employee. And the obstacles faced are when employees cannot complete a job in carrying out their responsibilities as employees at PT. TAPSEN (Persero) Manado Branch. The arrangement of the arrangement is one aspect that must applied in the office to support the achievement of the goal of increasing productivity and performance of office employees.In this study, the method used was quantitative descriptive research method by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents who were sample in this study. Data collected with a questionnaire that had been teste for validity and reliability.And our data analysis is descriptive and inferential statistics, which consist of simple correlation coefficients and regressions that are done using the SPSS for Windows version 24.0.The results showed that there was a significant influence between work motivations on employee performance. From this result is done and followed by data analysis obtained, then there is a significant influence between the influence of work motivation on employee performance at PT.TASPEN (Persero) Branch Manado and this means the working hypothesis or alternative hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a positive influence between work motivation on employee performance and the level of influence of 21.3%. For this reason, recommended that more work motivation to increase in employee performance.Keywords: Work  Motivation. Employee Performance

Abstract

Human resource is the resource that plays an important role in order to achieve company goals. Human resource management that will positively impact for good. Manado has a growth rate and competition as well as the culture, the style changes work, work culture, family needs, job demands, quickly taking place which eventually increase the population of the breadwinner of the family and responsibility, so between working life and family life in the sometimes arises friction or pressure. It resulted in a lack of a sense of belonging and more willingness to maximize the performance that comes from self-employee against the company. Sintesa Peninsula Hotel is one of the five star hotels in Manado that have so many employees. Therefore, everyone should be able to balance between work and personal as well. This research was conducted to find out whether the work-life balance can affect job satisfaction of the employees at the Hotel Sintesa Peninsula Manado. Work-life Balance as a free variable consists of three balance balance balance of time, namely engagement and satisfaction of the balance. As for job satisfaction as a bound variable is divided into five dimensions of job satisfaction that is the work itself, salaries, promotional opportunities, supervision and co-workers. This type of research using quantitative research using survey method. The data used in this study is a questionnaire distributed to 60 respondents. Methods of data analysis used is a simple linear regression. To analyze the data using SPSS program assisted. The results of this research suggest that work-life balance has an impact on employee job satisfaction on Hotel Synthesis Peninsula Manado of 37.4% while 63.6% are affected by other variables not examined in this study.

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance. With the problem of compensation for the performance of employees at the Warunk Bendito Manado company. The sample taken was 34 people from a total of 34 employees in the company. In this study used a type of quantitative research. Technique data collection uses questionnaires to respondents, making observations and interviews. The technique used in data analysis is to use simple regression statistics with SPSS version 22.00 to test the significance of the relationship between variables and to measure the magnitude of the effect that occurs on compensation variables and employee performance variables. From the results of t test and correlation, it can be seen that the results of tvalue < ttable have a negative influence. The results of the R square correlation value have a weak correlation. Based on the results of calculations from the study it can be seen that the compensation variable has a negative effect on employee performance variables.
