Abstract

Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha provides a solution for elderly individuals whose families face financial and non-financial constraints, leaving them without adequate care. As a residential facility for older adults, a nursing home must meet proper housing standards to support daily activities and reduce the risk of accidents, such as falls and slips, often resulting from design flaws or inadequate facilities. This study examines the elderly-friendly facilities implemented in the Sasana Tresna Werdha building and explores how older residents perceive comfort in their living environment. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data analyzed qualitatively. The findings reveal that the facility incorporates various features to enhance comfort and accessibility for elderly residents. These include a centrally located ramp connecting the second and third floors, handrails along staircases and corridors, and strategically positioned staircases on the right, left, and center of the building, all specifically designed to facilitate mobility and improve the well-being of older residents.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia's agricultural sector faces productivity and regeneration challenges, making the Edu-Agrotourism model a strategic solution to provide economic and educational value. This study aims to develop spatial planning and basic infrastructure designs responsive to the steep topographic conditions of The Learning Farm (TLF) in Cianjur Regency. The method employed a participatory and technical experimental approach using aerial mapping via a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone, processed with DroneDeploy and ArcGIS to generate Digital Elevation Model (DEM) maps. Spatial analysis reveals that the 2.4-hectare area has an elevation range of 846 to 870 masl with an extreme height difference of 24 meters. These morphological conditions dictate land zoning that places buildings on stable ground in the highlands and agricultural activities in productive sloped areas. Clean water infrastructure is designed as a Gravity-Fed System, positioning the main reservoir at the highest elevation (±868 masl) to achieve energy and operational cost efficiency. Furthermore, the roadside drainage system is integrated with natural water bodies to control runoff and mitigate erosion and flooding risks. The study concludes that TLF's transformation into a sustainable Edu-Agrotourism center is supported by utility management that respects the natural characteristics of the land. This planning ensures a balance between agricultural operational efficiency, environmental conservation, and the comfort of educational facilities.

Abstract

The Great Mosque of Sang Cipta Rasa is located in front of the Kasepuhan Palace Complex to the west of the square in front of the Kasepuhan Palace, Cirebon. The construction of this mosque was assisted by Sunan Bonang and Sunan Kalijaga. The physical work was carried out by the former Majapahit architect, Raden Sepat, assisted by 500 of his troops who were former Majapahit troops. (Budi, 2015). The religious shift from the end of the Hindu-Buddhist era to the entry of Islam affected the facade of the Great Mosque of Sang Cipta Rasa in Cirebon. Elements forming a building facade generally include the site entrance, ground floor zone, arcades, windows and building entrances, fences, roofs, and signs. and ornaments. This study uses a descriptive technique in its explanation. The research method used is a qualitative method, by observing the variable character of the facade of the Great Mosque of Sang Cipta. The purpose of this paper is to examine how the facade design of the Great Mosque of Sang Cipta on doors, windows, walls, and ornaments contains elements and components of Hindu, Javanese, Chinese and Islamic historical influences.
