Abstract

In Kajian keterampilan Kerja (KKK) applies special knowledge relating to the teaching profession in the field of teaching English. One of the Work Skills courses Study is Grammar. gadget is one of the media currently used by students. The purpose of this research are to describe the stages of online application development and to test the validity of online application and material development. In this study, researchers used a research and development approach (Research and Development) from Gall & Borg. The results of this study will be used to design an application that can be used in teaching and learning in Basic English Grammar 1. This study produces an application that can be used to present the material, learning process and learning evaluation (BEG) Basic English Grammar 1. Based on field trials, the development of online application makes it easy for students to learn and understand English grammar whenever and wherever they are via a smartphone that has the application installed. This application can improve their English language skills.Keywords : Study of job skills, Online Applications, Grammar, Materials, and Research and Development.ABSTRAKKajian keterampilan Kerja (KKK) menerapkan keilmuan khusus yang berhubungan erat dengan profesi keguruan bidang pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Grammar merupakan salah satu mata kuliah di Kajian Ketrampilan Kerja. Media yang sekarang digunakan pada mahasiswa salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi dari gadget. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan online application dan menguji validitas pengembangan online application dan materials. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dari Gall & Borg. Diakhir penelitian ini akan menghasilkan desain atau merancang sebuah aplikasi untuk digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di mata kuliah Basic English Grammar 1. Penelitian. Aplikasi ini bisa digunakan untuk menyajikan materi, proses belajar serta evaluasi pembelajaran (BEG) Basic English Grammar 1. Berdasarkan uji coba lapangan, untuk mahasiswa yang menginstall aplikasi di smartphone mereka bisa mendapatkan kemudahan belajar dan memahami grammar bahasa inggris kapan dan dimanapun mereka berada. Aplikasi ini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa inggris bagi para penggunanya.Kata Kunci : Kajian Ketrampilan Kerja, Online Application, Grammar, materials, dan Research and Development.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze type design and also the usabilty of  the website in Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Unggulan Informatika Jakarta website. The method of research used in this study is content analysis. the way  data gained from obsrvation and queesionnaire. The result of the study shows that type of website used in Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Unggulan Informatika Jakarta is dynamic using domain sch.id, and the usability of the website is good as one of the system information used in this madrasah.

Abstract

Character equivalence and offensive word rank in subtitling context are understudied on the previous studies on euphemisation strategies. The exclusion of these two concerns leaves the prior constructed euphemisation strategies unable to explain how shifts on narrative identity might occur and how taboo words are functionally negotiated. In addressing this issue, the study investigates the relationship between offensive word levels with character equivalence and narrative identity, types of euphemisation strategies, and the strategies' implementation. The data were collected from the English and Indonesian versions of four films containing taboo words, which were analyzed by applying the theories of offensiveness rank by Ofcom, constructed in English as a foreign language context, and character equivalence by Petrucci. The findings indicate that offensive word translation suffers a rank shift on offensive word ranks Departing from these findings. We propose euphemisation strategies with offensive word rank and character equivalence as the primary narrative basis with mediality and subtitling standard as the primary mechanical basis. Those strategies are downgrading, degrading, sidegrading, outgrading, ingrading, and retrograding. The reasons of euphemisation strategy implementation are bipolarly divided into aesthetics and mechanics in relation to distances and perspectives of the applied offensive words.

Abstract

Language acquisition is an unconscious process in understanding and learning language. In general, language acquisition occurs in children through exposure to those around them. One effective exposure for language acquisition is through song. This study aims to identify the role of using the singing method for language acquisition in early childhood, be it phonological, morphological, or syntactic acquisition. This research is qualitative research with naturalistic techniques. The data collection used in-depth observation and interviews. The sample of this research is the students of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Nur Insani, Piyaman, Wonosari, Gunungkidul who are 3-4 years old. The results showed that by using the singing method, students were able to: a) acquire several phonemes and even some were able to distinguish these phonemes, b) use suffixes, and c) express simple declarative, imperative, and interrogative sentences.

Abstract

Untuk menyusun rancangan aplikasi online registration system yang terintegrasi dengan SIAKAD, dilakukan berbagai kegiatan yang dikelola oleh Unit Laboratorium dan Praktikum di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Surakarta. Penelitian ini mengadopsi model dari Borg (2007). Adapun prosedur pengembanganya dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, Perencanaan, Pengembangan Form Product, Pengujian Lapangan Awal, Revisi Produk Utama, dan Pengajian Lapangan Utama. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Surakarta. Untuk analisis data digunakan 2 cara yaitu teknik induksi pada tahap need analysis, dan interactive model milik Miles dan Huberman untuk data hasil wawancara dan uji ahli. Keabsahan data sendiri dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) On line Registration adalah model aplikasi pendaftaran yang lebih efektif untuk mahasiswa dan Unit Laboratrium dan Praktikum FITK IAIN  Surakarta, (2) Online Registration System yang menjadi salah satu fitur baru dalam SIAKAD diproyeksikan sebagai salah satu fitur yang akan mempermudah layanan pada mahasiswa terkait pendaftaran sebagai calon peserta praktikan, dan (3) Disamping itu melalui layanan SIAKAD mahasiswa juga akan lebih mudah dan efektif dalam mencari informasi terbaru dari seluruh civitas akademika di lingkungan FITK khususnya yang terkait dengan kegiatan di Unit Laboratorium dan Praktikum.Design of an Academic Information System (SIAKAD) with an Integrated Online Registration System at the Laboratory and Practicum Unit at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN SurakartaAbstractTo develop an online registration system that is integrated with SIAKAD, various activities are managed by the Laboratory and Practical Unit at IAIN Surakarta Faculty of Teacher Training. This study adopted a model from Borg (2007). The development procedure starts from the needs analysis, Planning, Product Form Development, Initial Field Testing, Main Product Revision, and Main Field Study. The research was conducted at the IAIN Surakarta Faculty of Teacher Training. The data analysis used two ways, namely induction techniques in the stage of need analysis, and interactive models belonging to Miles and Huberman for interview data and expert tests. The validity of the data is done through source triangulation and methods. The results of data analysis indicate that (1) Online registration is a more effective registration application model for students admitted in Laboratory and Practicum Unit, (2) Online Registration System projected as one of the features that will facilitate services for students related to registration as prospective participants, and (3) it is easier and more effective for students to find the latest information from all academics in the faculty environment especially those related to activities in the Laboratory and Practicum Units.

Abstract

The majority of academic communities in madrasa access the madrasa website infrequently. It is related to the user’s perception of the madrasa website’s quality. This study seeks to determine how usability, information quality, and accessibility effect the frequency with which madrasa websites are visited. This study proposes a correlational quantitative research methodology. The research cohort consisted of 2401 MAN Surakarta students, and the sample size was 96. The method of sampling is proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Techniques of data analysis utilizing correlation analysis and single regression to test the hypotheses of single correlation, correlation, and multiple regression. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Usability has a positive effect on the intensity of website use; 2) Information quality has a positive effect on the intensity of website use; 3) Accessibility has a positive effect on the intensity of website use; and 4) Usability, information quality, and accessibility all have a positive effect on the intensity of website use. Usability, information quality, and accessibility collectively contribute 51.1% to the website's intensity, while the remaining 48.9% is influenced by unmeasured variables.
