Abstract

Speaking anxiety becomes a substantial matter in foreign language learning. Many studies have been discussed foreign language anxiety. Nevertheless, slight research has been undertaken on senior high school level. This research investigated Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety (FLSA) associated with male and female difference in senior high school level. This study aims to investigate whether male and female have the significant difference on students’ speaking anxiety level or not. Differential research method was used. From 77 grade IX students of SMA Terpadu Darussalam Tasikmalaya, 43 students were participated in this study. Probability sampling was used as the technique for selecting sample. A close-ended questionnaire adopted from Horwitz et.al (1986) was administrated to the participants to examine their Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety. The questionnaire has been passed validity test to determine whether it has positive consequences when they are used in practice. The result indicated that there is no statistically difference between male and female students. Although there was no statistically difference, the finding represents that females demonstrated a higher anxiety than males. Regarding to the result, it might be a light to help teacher choosing a great treatment for students’ anxiety during English language learning.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) as a form of higher education service to the community are implemented in Cibodas Village, Tangerang. The focus is to provide simple accounting bookkeeping training to small businesses, especially small stall traders in the area. The methods used involve surveys, outreach, and training using the "Cash Book" application. The results show increased understanding of financial management and use of digital cash books. The evaluation shows active participation and hope for a positive impact on the financial management capabilities of MSMEs in Cibodas Village.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine how the learning motivation of elementary school children changes when they use technology-based learning materials. The role of digital media in the classroom has become increasingly important as a result of technological advancements. This research employs a qualitative approach by gathering information through in-depth interviews and careful observations. According to the findings, educational applications and interactive learning videos can enhance student engagement and motivation. Interest in learning is also fostered by opportunities to acquire broader knowledge and participate in flexible learning activities. Based on the results of this study, integrating technology into the curriculum of every elementary school can be an excellent way to spark children's enthusiasm for learning. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah meneliti bagaimana motivasi belajar anak-anak sekolah dasar berubah ketika mereka menggunakan materi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Peran media digital di ruang kelas semakin penting sebagai hasil dari kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan informasi melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi yang cermat. Aplikasi pendidikan dan video pembelajaran, yang menarik dan interaktif, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa, menurut temuan tersebut. Minat belajar juga didorong oleh kesempatan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan lebih luas dan terlibat dalam pembelajaran yang fleksibel. Menurut hasil penelitian ini, memasukkan teknologi ke dalam kurikulum setiap sekolah dasar dapat menjadi cara yang bagus untuk membangkitkan antusiasme anak-anak dalam belajar.

Abstract

Kesalahan bahasa pada tataran fonologi dalam penulisan ilmiah dapat berdampak pada keterbacaan, makna, serta kredibilitas akademik. Penelitian ini menganalisis makalah berjudul "Manajemen Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (Pelatihan dan Karier)" untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk kesalahan fonologis, penyebabnya, serta dampaknya terhadap pemahaman pembaca. Temuan menunjukkan adanya kekeliruan dalam pelafalan yang tercermin dalam ejaan, penyisipan dan penghilangan bunyi, serta pengaruh interferensi bahasa daerah. Faktor utama penyebab kesalahan meliputi kurangnya kesadaran fonologis, minimnya penyuntingan, serta kebiasaan tutur yang terbawa dalam penulisan. Kesalahan-kesalahan ini dapat menghambat efektivitas penyampaian gagasan dan menurunkan profesionalitas karya ilmiah. Dengan memahami karakteristik kesalahan fonologi, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi akademisi dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kualitas penulisan ilmiah yang lebih baik.
