Abstract

College is a complex environment with students facing a variety of academic, career, and mental well-being pressures. Therefore, guidance and counseling services in higher education have increased urgency in supporting students to face these challenges. This research aims to identify the urgency of guidance and counseling services in higher education in optimizing academic development, career development and mental well-being of students. This research involves a comprehensive literature perspective on the role and benefits of guidance and counseling services in higher education. Data were analyzed by considering findings from a number of relevant studies. The research results show that guidance and counseling services in higher education have a central role in helping students achieve academic success, plan appropriate careers, and maintain their mental and emotional well-being. The urgency of this service is increasingly strengthened by changes in social dynamics, technology and an increasingly complex world of work. Therefore, investment in the development and provision of guidance and counseling services in higher education is an urgent need to support student growth and development in the modern era.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) as a form of higher education service to the community are implemented in Cibodas Village, Tangerang. The focus is to provide simple accounting bookkeeping training to small businesses, especially small stall traders in the area. The methods used involve surveys, outreach, and training using the "Cash Book" application. The results show increased understanding of financial management and use of digital cash books. The evaluation shows active participation and hope for a positive impact on the financial management capabilities of MSMEs in Cibodas Village.

Abstract

In the current digital era, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) need digital tools to facilitate their business processes. Binong Subdistrict, as one of the subdistricts that has many MSMEs, faces challenges in encouraging technology adoption among MSME owners. To overcome this problem, the authors introduce BukuWarung, a digital financial platform, as a practical solution to optimize financial recording. The process involves training and mentoring structured in four steps: outreach, training and mentoring, and evaluation. The results show that MSMEs now better understand the important role of financial management and have successfully adopted BukuWarung for their financial recording needs. In conclusion, socialization and training on the use of the Buku Warung application in Binong Village succeeded in increasing the understanding and skills of MSMEs in utilizing digital technology to support their business.

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an is an essential skill that every Muslim should possess. However, current trends show a decline in Qur'anic literacy levels in Indonesia. According to data, about 65% of Muslims in Indonesia are still unable to read the Qur'an. One way to address this issue is by implementing an effective Qur'anic learning method. This community service program uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, actively involving students, religious teachers, and school staff. Over the course of six months, 45 female students participated in Qur'anic learning using the Tilawati method. The evaluation results showed a 75% improvement in their Qur'anic reading ability, with 85% of the students able to read the Qur'an correctly and in accordance with tajwid rules. Additionally, the program successfully formed independent study groups and created local leaders among the students. The implementation of the Tilawati method also had a positive impact on the family environment, strengthened the school's commitment to Qur'anic literacy programs, and encouraged a shift in the students' mindset toward Qur'anic learning. The sustainability of this program is ensured through the establishment of an organizational structure and a systematic evaluation mechanism.

Abstract

This study analyzes the symbolic meaning in the lyrics of the song "Halu" by Feby Putri using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach. The purpose of the study is to reveal the relationship between the signifier and the signified in the song lyrics to understand the emotional and cultural messages contained therein. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis with a focus on linguistic signs in the lyric text. The results of the study show that the song "Halu" utilizes metaphors (such as "candu" and "bayang-bayang") to represent one-sided love, illusion, and emotional alienation. The lyrics of the song are not only a personal expression of the creator, but also reflect the collective experience of the younger generation in interpreting unrealized relationships. This study concludes that popular music, through its semiotic structure, functions as a complex medium of cultural communication. Suggestions for further research include exploring the interaction of musical elements with lyrics and the application of other semiotic theories to enrich the analysis. These findings also emphasize the importance of media literacy in understanding music not only as entertainment, but also as a cultural product that is full of meaning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang manajemen PAUD berdaya saing untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau library research, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan melalui mengumpulkan data atau karya tulis ilmiah yang bertujuan dengan obyek penelitian atau pengumpulan data yang bersifat kepustakaan, atau telaah yang dilaksanakan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah yang pada dasarnya tertumpu pada penelaahan kritis dan mendalam terhadap bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa Perencanaan dalam manajemen PAUD berdaya saing diimplementasikan dalam merumuskan visi, misi, tujuan, program-program kegiatan melalui program tahunan dan program semesteran, serta menempatkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berbeda sesuai dengan kompetensinya. Pelaksanaan PAUD berdaya saing diawali dengan melakukan analisis SWOT untuk menentukan kelemahan dan kelebihan lembaga. Pelaksanaan program dan kegiatan harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi yang ada dan dokumen perencanaanya, seperti RPP. Evaluasi ketercapaian indikator keberhasilan program kegiatan PAUD menjadikan anak usia dini menjadi pribadi yang sesuai dengan profil lulusan lembaga PAUD. Hal itu pun dapat diperoleh manakala dilakukan evaluasi terhadap program kegiatan PAUD pada lembaga PAUD tersebut. Pembenahan pengelolaan PAUD di daerah perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar mampu memberikan pelayanan prima bagi mayarakat, khususnya bagi anak-anak usia dini. Manajemen berdaya saing mampu diimplementasikan dalam pengelolaan PAUD sehari-hari.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tuntutan mutu pada pengelolaan sebuah perguruan tinggi, persaingan perguruan tinggi yang semakin ketat, dan produktifitas dalam penelitian sebagai keunggulan perguruan tinggi dimasa kini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi balanced scorecard dalam mewujudkan pendidikan tinggi world class. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif analisis dengan sumber data utama berbagai kepustakaan atau referensi yang mendukung kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep balanced scorecard dalam konteks world class university (WCU) memiliki fungsi sebagai berikut: a) sebagai alat ukur Perguruan Tinggi apakah visi dan misi yang dianut telah tercapai; b) sebagai alat ukur keunggulan kompetitif yang dimiliki Perguruan Tinggi Anda; c) sebagai panduan strategis untuk menjalankan bisnis Anda; d) alat analisis efektifitas strategi yang telah digunakan; e) memberikan gambaran kepada Perguruan Tinggi terkait SWOT yang dimiliki; f) sebagai alat key performance indicator Perguruan Tinggi; dan g) sebagai feedback terhadap stakeholder Perguruan Tinggi.
