Abstract

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age, often leading to menstrual irregularities, infertility, and metabolic issues. Diagnosing PCOS remains challenging due to the wide range of symptoms and varying patient responses to treatment. Therefore, this study aims to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to identify key symptoms contributing to PCOS based on patients' clinical data.This study employs a machine learning approach, with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm as the primary method for classifying patients with and without PCOS. The data used was sourced from patient medical records, which included clinical data parameters obtained from the Kaggle website, with a total of 541 patient data samples. The research stages include data collection and preprocessing, selection of main features using feature selection technique, model training with SVM algorithm. The AI model developed produces 10 main features that affect the diagnosis with an accuracy value of 90.74% which shows that the model has the ability to classify PCOS and non-PCOS sufferers. In addition, the matrix shows a balance between the matrix values for precision 87.5%, recall 82.35% and F1 score 84.85%. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the medical field, especially in supporting faster and more accurate early diagnosis and personalization of PCOS treatment.

Abstract

Desain grafis merupakan proses komunikasi menggunakan elemen visual, seperti teks, bentuk, dan gambar untuk menyampaikan suatu pesan. Desain yang menarik merupakan salah satu alat bantu yang digunakan sebagai media promosi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu pelaku UMKM tentang bagaimana membuat desain yang menarik serta dapat membuat desain sendiri agar meminimalisir biaya produksi dalam pembuatan desain di percetakan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Sembalun yang menjadi mitra utama. Target dan luaran pengabdian ini adalah terbentuknya keterampilan dan kreatifitas pelaku UMKM dalam membuat desain guna meningkatkan kualitas desain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil penjualan. Dengan adanya pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan, diharapkan dapat membantu semua pelaku UMKM  yang ada di Kecamatan Sembalun untuk dapat membuat desain sendiri serta dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produknya.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal education unit that organizes vocational education at the secondary education level as a continuation of SMP/MTs. There are several  programs specifically for SMK students to increase their scientific capacity and competence. Among the programs intended for SMK students are apprenticeship programs or field work practices (PKL), and UKK (Special Competency Test) which are held as graduation requirements. Furthermore, the program invites Guest Teachers from agencies or outside companies. Besides that, SMK students are also asked to create an entrepreneurship program to train students in the field of private entrepreneurship. The Informatics Engineering Study Program often conducts coaching as Guest Teachers for SMK students to improve their knowledge and skills. In addition, the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, routinely organizes skills training every year to prepare for competency exams, where the competency skills that the Informatics Engineering study program has fostered include Expertise Competence in the fields of Computer and Network Engineering, Software Engineering and Multimedia, where the students who participated in this training came from several vocational high schools in East Lombok Regency. Therefore, to improve quality in terms of the quality of knowledge and skills for teachers and students, on this occasion the Informatics Engineering study program would like to hold a Skills competency training, especially in the field of computer and network engineering, to help teachers and students to have the knowledge and skills qualified. Teachers can provide sound knowledge and expertise to students so that students have good abilities and competencies according to the needs of the industrial world. Keywords: Computer Network Engineering, Training, SMK Expertise.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments have developed very rapidly and quickly, bringing about very big changes because they make the information obtained available quickly, easily, accurately and not limited by place and time. One example of developments in the world of technology is internet technology. With the existence of internet technology, the dissemination of information becomes more practical and easy to access anywhere, anytime, and anyone can access the information. Internet technology not only has an effect on business or trade development, but also has a role in the tourism sector. Because with internet technology, the delivery of information on tourist attractions can be more connected or interactive and the information is easy to obtain. East Lombok Regency, in Sembalun sub-district, especially in Sajang village, there are potential tourist destinations such as Mount Rinjani, Camping Grounds, and Waterfalls as well as Agrotourism, namely Coffee Gardens. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of co-branding, fashion trends, and reference groups on the purchase decisions of Vans shoes among students of Mulawarman University. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 112 respondents selected via purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that partially, co-branding and reference groups have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, while fashion trends do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence purchase decisions with a strong correlation level. The coefficient of determination shows that 39% of the variation in purchase decisions can be explained by the research model, while the remaining 61% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings suggest that co-branding strategies and social influences play a more dominant role in shaping students’ purchase decisions compared to dynamic fashion trends. This study is expected to contribute to the development of marketing knowledge and provide practical insights for businesses in designing more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer reviews, customer value, and celebrity endorsers on purchasing decisions on the Shopee e-commerce platform in Samarinda. The research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 80 Shopee users in Samarinda who met the research criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25 through validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient tests, coefficient of determination tests, F-tests, and t-tests. The results showed that consumer reviews and customer value had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, celebrity endorsers did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, consumer reviews, customer value, and celebrity endorsers influenced purchasing decisions. This study indicates that consumers tend to prioritize user reviews and perceived value over public figure influence in making purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms. This research is expected to serve as a reference for companies in developing more effective digital marketing strategies to improve consumer purchasing decisions.
