Abstract

Abstract: The main problem of vasectomy implementation in family planning and reproductive health programs is the low participation. This study aimed to analyze health promotion strategies in increasing male participation (vasectomy) in the Family Planning Program in North Sulawesi Province. This was a qualitative study using in-depth interviews with 20 informants related to the family planning program, especially vasectomy. Informants consisted of stakeholders, religion and community leaders, and male family planning motivators and acceptors. The results showed that the health promotion strategy in terms of advocacy by policy makers was carried out in the form of budget support by the central and provincial governments, however, it still required support from local governments in the form of special policies or budget support and there were still obstacles in the form of limited providers who wanted to perform male family planning services in health facilities. Social support with an approach through religion and community leaders had been carried out in religion activities or meeting activities but had not yet been able to measure the success of the support. Male family planning motivators and acceptors played a role in increasing male participation (vasectomy) through the dissemination of correct information and testimonials. In conclusion, health promotion to increase male participation (vasectomy) in family planning programs in North Sulawesi Province requires strategies in the form of advocacy by policy makers (stakeholders), social support through religion and community leaders as well as community empowerment by male family planning motivators and acceptors done optimally. Keywords: health promotion; family planning; male participant; vasectomy Abstrak: Masalah utama yang dihadapi implementasi metode kontrasepsi vasektomi ialah rendahnya partisipasi pria dalam pelaksanaan program Keluarga Berencana (KB) dan kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi promosi kesehatan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pria melalui vasektomi pada Program KB di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Jenis penelitian ialah kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 20 informan yang berhubungan dengan program KB, khususnya vasektomi. Informan terdiri dari stakeholder, tokoh agama/tokoh masyarakat (Toga/Toma), motivator KB pria, dan akseptor KB pria. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa strategi promosi kesehatan dari segi advokasi oleh pihak penentu kebijakan dilakukan dalam bentuk dukungan anggaran oleh pemerintah pusat maupun provinsi, namun masih membutuhkan dukungan pemerintah daerah berupa kebijakan khusus ataupun dukungan anggaran, serta masih terdapat kendala berupa terbatasnya provider yang mau melakukan pelayanan KB pria di fasilitas kesehatan. Peningkatan kesertaan KB pria melalui dukungan sosial dengan pendekatan melalui toga/toma telah dilaksanakan pada kegiatan keagamaan atau kegiatan pertemuan namun belum bisa diukur capaian keberhasilan dari dukungan tersebut. Motivator KB pria dan akseptor KB pria telah berperan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pria (vasektomi) melalui penyebaran informasi yang benar maupun testimoni. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah promosi kesehatan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pria pada program KB vasektomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara membutuhkan strategi dalam bentuk advokasi oleh pemangku kebijakan (stakeholder), dukungan sosial melalui Toga/Toma serta pemberdayaan masyarakat oleh motivator KB pria maupun akseptor KB pria yang dilakukan secara optimal. Abstract

Abstract: Paramedics are health workers who have the most frequent contact with patients. Maximum service from health workers can improve their performance. There are several factors that affect performance, namely individual, organizational and psychological factors. This study aimed to analyze the motivation, job stress, and work stress of paramedics at GMIM Siloam Sonder Hospital related to their performance. This was a qualitative study conducted at the GMIM Siloam Sonder General Hospital using 10 informants. Data were obtained through interviews in the form of in-depth questions as well as document searching. Motivation could improve the performance of paramedics. Job stress caused the quality of paramedics to decrease. High workload affected their performance. In conclusion, motivation, job stress and workload of paramedics at RSU GMIM Siloam Sonder are related to their performance. Keywords: work motivation; job stress; workload; performance Abstrak: Paramedis perawatan merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang paling sering melakukan kontak dengan pasien. Pelayanan maksimal dari tenaga kesehatan sangat diharapkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja yaitu faktor individu, organisasi dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa motivasi, stres dan beban kerja paramedis perawatan di RSU GMIM Siloam Sonder terkait dengan kinerja. Jenis penelitian ialah kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan informan sebanyak 10 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh lewat wawancara berupa pertanyaan mendalam serta penelusuran dokumen. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa pemberian motivasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja paramedis perawatan. Stres kerja menyebabkan kualitas kerja paramedis perawatan menurun. Terdapat kaitan yang memengaruhi kinerja dari pemberian beban kerja yang tinggi. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah motivasi, stres dan beban kerja paramedis perawatan di RSU GMIM Siloam Sonder memiliki kaitan dengan kinerja. Abstract

Abstract: Hospital image could affect the attitude and behaviour of patients towards the hospital. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the variables studied and the image of Rumah Sakit Umum GMIM Bethesda (RSUGB). This was a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. The independent variables in this study were familiarity, emotional aspect, service, environment, and finance. The dependent variable was the image of RSUGB. Data were statistically analyzed with the chi square test using the SPSS version 22 computer program. The results showed that most respondents (89.0%) felt that hospital familiarity was good; (68.2%) felt emotional towards a good hospital; (67.9%) felt that the service at the hospital was good; (87.2%) felt that the environment of the hospital was good; and (68.8%) felt that the financial rates at the hospital were good. The chi square test or cross tabulation of the five independent variables on the dependent variable indicated that only the service variable towards hospital image had a p-value < 0.05 (p=0.018). Other variables such as familiarity (p=0.166), emotional aspect (p=0.473), environment (p=0.057), and finance (p=0.200) had p-values >0.05. In conclusion, there is a relationship between service and the image of Rumah Sakit Umum GMIM Bethesda (RSUGB), however, there are no relationships between familiarity, emotional aspect, environment, and finance with the hospital image. Keywords: familiarity; emotional aspect; service; environment; finance; hospital image Abstrak: Citra sebuah rumah sakit berdampak pada sikap dan perilaku pasien terhadap rumah sakit tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel yang diteliti dengan citra Rumah Sakit Umum GMIM Bethesda (RSUGB). Jenis penelitian ialah deskriptif dengan desain potong lintang. Variabel bebas ialah familiaritas, emosional, pelayanan, lingkungan dan keuangan sedangkan variabel terikat ialah citra RSUGB. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden (89,0%) merasa familiaritas rumah sakit baik; (68,2%) merasa emosional terhadap rumah sakit baik; (67,9%) merasa pelayanan pada rumah sakit baik; (87,2%) merasa lingkungan di rumah sakit baik; dan (68,8%) merasa tarif keuangan di rumah sakit baik. Pada uji chi square atau tabulasi silang dari kelima variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat didapatkan hanya variabel pelayanan dengan citra rumah sakit nilai p<0,05 (p=0,018). Variabel lainnya seperti familiaritas (p=0,166), aspek emosional (p=0,473), lingkungan (p=0,057), dan keuangan (p=0,200) mendapatkan nilai p>0,05. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah terdapat hubungan antara pelayanan dengan citra Rumah Sakit Umum GMIM Bethesda (RSUGB) namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara familiaritas, aspek emosi, lingkungan dan keuangan dengan citra rumah sakit. Abstract

Abstract: Today the world faces a double burden that includes undernourishment and overweight, especially in low and middle-income countries. The high intensity of screen time will cause changes in nutritional status from being fat to obesity, due to the lack of body movement in daily activities. This study aimed to evaluate whether there was a relationship between physical activity behavior and screen time with nutritional status among GMIM Kawangkoan youths. This was a quantitative study. Samples were a total population of 60 respondents. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the chi square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had poor screen time (52.6%) and poor nutritional status (56.4%). The chi square test showed significant relationships between physical activity behavior and nutritional status (p=0.006), and between screen time and nutritional status (p=0.000). In conclusion, there are significant relationships between physical activity behavior and screen time with nutritional status among youths GMIM Kawangkoan. Keywords: nutritional status; physical activity behavior; screen time   Abstrak: Saat ini dunia menghadapi beban ganda yang mencakup kekurangan gizi dan kelebihan berat badan, terutama di negara-negara berpenghasilan rendah dan menengah. Tingginya intensitas screen time yang dilakukan akan menyebabkan perubahan status gizi menjadi gemuk hingga obesitas oleh karena kurangnya gerakan tubuh dalam aktivitias sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara perilaku aktivitas fisik dan screen time dengan status gizi pada pemuda GMIM Kawangkoan. Jenis penelitian ialah kuantitatif. Sampel ialah total populasi berjumlah 60 responden. Analisis yang digunakan univariat dan bivariat uji chi square. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki kategori screen time kurang baik (52,6%) dan status gizi kurang baik (56,4%), sedangkan responden dengan kategori aktivitas fisik baik dan kurang baik sama banyak. Hasil uji chi square tabulasi silang antara perilaku aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi mendapatkan nilai p=0,006 dan antara penggunaan screen time dengan status gizi mendapatkan nilai p=0,006 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kedua variabel tersebut. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah terdapat hubungan antara perilaku aktivitas fisik dan penggunaan screen time dengan status gizi pada pemuda GMIM Kawangkoan. Abstract

Abstract: Companies need a strategy to determine the number of occupational accidents and occupational diseases with risk management. HIRADC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control) is one of the key elements of a safe work plan that can minimize cases of occupational accidents and occupational diseases. This study aimed to determine the potential hazards and risk levels of the oilmill and maintenance work area of PT. X international crude oil companies in North Sulawesi, risk control and application of control methods in the field. This was a qualitative study for the application of HIRADC method conducted in South Minahasa Regency. Recruitment of informants based on purposive sampling as many as 11 employees at oilmill and maintenance area as the main informants, and EHS Supervisor as the key informant and the Head of Department (HOD) as additional informants. The instruments of this study were the in-depth interview matrix and the HIRADC matrix. Data were obtained by observation, in-depth interviews and company document, then were analyzed with HIRADC method. The results obtained 68 types of hazards including physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychological hazards. The risk levels of hazards were high risk (H 35.2%), medium risk (M 58.8%), and low risk (L 5,8%) hazards; no hazard at the extreme risk level (E). The identification of highlighted hazards was the potential hazard of noise, heatstress, welding and grinding dust, with the highest levels of risk were the M risk (58.8%) and the H risk (35.2%). In conclusion, it is necessary to take control of measures according to the hierarchy of control in the form of substitution, engineering control, administration and personal protective equipment (PPE). HIRADC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control) ialah salah satu elemen kunci dari rencana kerja yang aman yang bisa meminimalisir kasus kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi bahaya dan tingkat risiko area kerja Oilmill dan Maintenance PT. X perusahaan minyak kelapa mentah bertaraf internasional di Sulawesi Utara, pengendalian risiko serta penerapan metode pengendalian di lapangan. Jenis penelitian ialah kualitatif untuk aplikasi metode HIRADC. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada salah satu perusahaan berskala internasional di Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan. Rekrutmen informan berdasarkan purposive sampling, sebanyak 11 orang yaitu karyawan area Oilmill dan Maintenance sebagai informan utama, serta EHS Supervisor sebagai informan kunci dan Head of Department (HOD) sebagai informan tambahan. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu matriks wawancara mendalam dan matriks HIRADC. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan dan dokumen perusahaan, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode HIRADC. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 68 jenis bahaya termasuk bahaya fisik, kimia, biologi, ergonomi dan psikologi. Tingkat risiko didapatkan rendah (L 5,8%), sedang (M 58,8%), dan tinggi (H 35,2%); tidak terdapat jenis bahaya tingkat risiko ekstrim (E). Identifikasi bahaya yang menjadi highlight ialah potensi bahaya kebisingan, heatstress, debu pengelasan dan gerinda dengan tingkat risiko terbanyak ialah tingkat M (58,8%) dan H (35,2%). Simpulan penelitian ini ialah diperlukan tindakan pengendalian sesuai hierarchy of control berupa substitusi, rekayasa engineering, administrasi dan APD (alat pelindung diri). Abstract

Abstract: The success of standardized nutrition care process (PAGT) is determined by the effectiveness of nutrition interventions through effective education and counseling, providing appropriate dietetics for patients in hospitals, and collaboration with other professions greatly influences the success of PAGT. This study aimed to analyze the quality of nutrition care services in the inpatient care of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado. This was a qualitative descriptive study using in-depth interview techniques and document review with seven informants. The data analysis process used an interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the services at Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado had already a policy referring to rules, Permenkes, and highest policies. Standardized Nutrition Care Process Guidelines by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 2014, and Hospital Nutrition Services (PGRS) of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health 2013 were references for nutrition care services which must be updated continuously. Nutrition services to patients was good but not yet in accordance with the expected dietary requirements. Nutrition care services related to nutrition education to patients were good and were in line with patient expectations. The quality of nutritionists at Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Hospital Manado was good in knowledge and skills. In conclusion, the quality of service is an important thing that has to be up-dated continuously. Most of the nutritionists as nutrition care providers, are working in discipline and on time in service. However, in carrying out the standardized nutrition care process, errors were still found in filling out the integrated patient progress notes. Keywords: quality of service at the hospital; nutrition care; standardized nutrition care process   Abstrak: Keberhasilan proses asuhan gizi terstandar (PAGT) ditentukan oleh efektivitas intervensi gizi melalui edukasi dan konseling yang efektif, pemberian dietetik sesuai untuk pasien di rumah sakit, dan kolaborasi dengan profesi lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mutu pelayanan asuhan gizi di rawat inap  RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Jenis penelitian ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tehnik wawancara mendalam dan telaah dokumen dengan jumlah tujuh informan. Proses analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa pelayanan di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado telah memiliki kebijakan yang mengacu pada aturan–aturan, permenkes, dan kebijakan-kebijakan tertinggi. Pelayanan Pedoman Proses Asuhan Gizi terstandar oleh Kemenkes RI 2014 dan Pelayanan Gizi Rumah Sakit (PGRS) Kemenkes RI 2013 menjadi acuan untuk Pelayanan Asuhan Gizi yang harus setiap waktu dikembangkan. Pelayanan gizi kepada pasien sudah baik tetapi belum sesuai dengan syarat diet yang diharapkan. Pelayanan asuhan gizi terkait edukasi gizi kepada pasien sudah baik dan sudah sesuai dengan harapan pasien. Kualitas ahli gizi di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado sudah baik dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah mutu pelayanan asuhan gizi ialah hal penting yang harus terus diperbaharui. Sebagian besar ahli gizi sebagai pemberi asuhan gizi sudah baik dalam bekerja baik dalam disiplin, dan tepat waktu dalam pelayanan.
