Abstract

Child health maintenance efforts are aimed at preparing a healthy, intelligent, and qualified generation and to reduce child mortality. Efforts to maintain the health of children are carried out since the fetus is still in the womb, born, after birth, and until the age of 18 (eighteen) years. Child health efforts, among others, are expected to reduce neonatal mortality (AKN), infant mortality (AKB), and toddler mortality (AKBA). Health behavior becomes important to be done by every parent both with the aim to relieve pain and to treat the pain suffered by their children. Related to health behaviors carried out by parents, the cultural dimension is reflected into family habits, especially those carried out by their parents and then passed down to their children. The purpose of this study is to find out the cultural dimension in influencing parents' health behavior in dealing with their child's pain, especially those who are still toddlers. The dimension of culture in relation to the health behavior of parents towards their toddlers who are sick is more due to habits, there are three habits of parents related to health behavior towards their children, namely by using baby shaman massage, treatment to health facilities, and doing self-medication. This happens because the dimension of culture exerts a different influence on each category of informants. The influence is in the form of habits carried out by their families, but also influenced by other factors such as busyness, experience, and education level.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals or sustainable development is a development concept carried out by the government to improve the community's welfare and preserve the environment. The national development program is now starting to experience a paradigm shift. Previously, the focus of development was more emphasized on the economic sector in local government areas only, but now the director of development is starting to target rural areas as the most significant contributor to achieving the success of national development. The purpose of this research is to map tourist villages in Banyumas Regency into several categories according to their potential and level of development. This research was conducted from October to November 2022 with the selection of research locations carried out purposively based on considerations of being a village that has a tourist location, both developed and newly developed, having various village potentials such as nature, culture, and UMKM, managed by the village government and residents supported by the local government, universities, and investors spread across 13 tourist villages in the Banyumas Regency area Kalisalak, Wlahar Wetan, Linggasari, Melung, Papringan, Pandak, Banjaranyar, Limpakuwus, Kalisari, Susukan, Karangsalam Lor, Cikakak, and Karang Tengah. The population in this study amounted to 160 people, with a research sample of 90 people consisting of 14 village governments, 48 tourism managers, and 28 local villagers. This research uses qualitative data analysis methods with primary data sources obtained directly from the field and supported by secondary data obtained by researchers from various media such as the Internet and other research results as support. The data collection techniques used in this research were structured interviews, observation, and literature study. The results showed that several village areas in Banyumas Regency have become tourist villages or pioneered to become tourist villages with a management system carried out by the local community in collaboration with the village government and in partnership with external parties such as universities, investors, and local governments. These villages have various characteristics of potential that can be developed, such as natural potential, artistic potential, and UMKM. Seen from the level of development, tourist villages in Banyumas Regency are divided into several categories, namely the tourist village category, the developing tourist village category, and the embryonic village category.

Abstract

Instagram is an effective digital platform for women's empowerment. Instagram has features to turn personal accounts into professionals, one of which is the community. The presence of digital communities certainly supports women's empowerment, including WEWAW (Women Empower Women at Work) with a commitment to provide references, education, and assistance for Indonesian women in their careers and businesses. This research aims to analyse how the content and programs on Instagram @wewaw.id represent efforts to empower women to have a career and do business. This research uses qualitative methods with content analysis techniques, collects data through Instagram accounts and literature studies from documents and books, and uses data triangulation by utilising several different sources of information. The results showed that the wewaw community successfully empowered women through seven stages of empowerment: awareness, freedom, capacity building, empowerment, achievement of results, evaluation, and a follow-up stage. The community uses symbols such as feminine colours, cartoon illustrations of women, and keywords such as "career" and "business" to represent women's social identity. In conclusion, wewaw is a clear example of digital women's empowerment through Instagram that has succeeded in shaping a new social identity for women through the symbols, colours and keywords used consistently in the campaign, and has become a safe and strategic space to build new meanings of independent women.
