Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of plants used as cosmetic ingredients by the people of Tonang Village, SengahTemila District, Landak Regency. The results of research on cosmetic plants are presented in the form of learning media in the form of a pocket book. The type of this research is qualitative and quantitative with descriptive method using triangulation data collection technique. The number of informants used were 76 informants with characteristics based on gender, age, education and occupation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis using media validation sheets. The results of cosmetic plants obtained were 21 species with 18 families with the most habitus being trees.The most locations found cosmetic plants in the yard of the house, the part that is widely used is leaves, the method of use is mostly by sticking it. Cosmetic plants are believed to have a beautiful effect on themselves such as smoothing and whitening facial skin, removing acne and thickening hair.The validation of pocket book media in Tonang Village was validated with 3 aspects and 12 criteria, so that the contents of pocket book media were declared feasible with an average total CVI validation of 0.99.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of a video powtoon learning media application based on guided inquiry submater application of the concept of substance pressure in organism as a learning media for students and to find responses by students to the powtoon video media. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research with the Borg and Gall development model which consists of ten stages, this research has only reached the seventh stage which includes potentials and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, design revisions, product trials, and product revisions. The instruments used were the media validation sheet and the student response questionnaire validation sheet which was validated by 5 validators and the student response questionnaire. The subjects were students of class XI SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The validation results obtained CVR and CVI values, namely 1 which has met the minimum limit of 0.99 so that it is declared valid. The product trial obtained an overall average score for aspects (cognition, affection, conation) which was 83,57% so it is categorized as very strong. It can be concluded that the powtoon video media based on guided inquiry sub material is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan keterampilan argumentasi siswa di SMAN 1 Sungai Pinyuh materi struktur dan fungsi sel pada sistem reproduksi, mengetahui proses pengembangan perangkat dengan model Argument Driven Inquiry disertai Socioscientific Issues, dan mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model Four-D. Pada penelitian ini direduksi menjadi model pengembangan Three-D meliputi tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan) dan develop (pengembangan) sampai pada langkah expert appraisal (penilaian ahli). Hasil keterampilan argumentasi siswa berada pada kategori cukup dan berada pada level 1, 2 dan 3. Desain perangkat pembelajaran mengikuti tahapan dari Thiagarajan, dkk dan tidak ditemukan kesulitan yang signifikan dalam mengikuti tahapan tersebut. Perangkat pembelajaran model ADI disertai SSI yaitu RPP dan handout dari segi validitas dan reliabilitas telah memenuhi kriteria yang baik.

Abstract

Pendidikan dengan Kurikulum 2013 saat ini mengacu pada pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang mengembangkan kemampuan higher of thinking skill (HOTS) peserta didik seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, argumentasi, keterampilan berpikir, pemecahan masalah, menciptakan, memperbarui, literasi. keberhasilan penerapan pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 dapat didukung dengan penggunaan bahan ajar berupa LKPD. berdasarkan wawancara guru Biologi SMAN 1 Sunga Pinyuh, dalam pembelajaran bahan ajar yang guru gunakan adalah buku paket kemendikbud sedangkan peserta didik menggunakan buku penunjang Biologi dari penerbit yang di dalamnya juga terdapat LKPD yang digunakan untuk kegiatan diskusi. guru dibantu dengan media power point, menurut guru dapat membantu peserta didik memahami materi. namun, berdasarkan data hasil belajar peserta didik masih dalam kategori rendah dan yang terendah adalah submateri Invertebrata. berdasarkan wawancara dengan peserta didik, peserta didik merasa kesulitan memahami materi dengan buku yang digunakan berisi sajian materi yang banyak dengan gambar yang tidak berwarna sehingga tidak menarik minat baca peserta didik. berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya pengembangan bahan ajar berupa LKPD dengan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjabarkan proses pengembangan dan hasil validasi konten majalah elektronik sebagai media pembelajaran Submateri Metode Ilmiah di Kelas X SMA. Pengembangan majalah elektronik dilakukan dalam 3 tahapan pertama (define, design, dan develop) dari model 4D dan dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas konten oleh masing-masing 5 orang validator terkait media dan materi. Pada tahap define dilakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan guru biologi, tinjauan kurikulum dan kebutuhan siswa, serta perumusan tujuan pembelajaran. Pada tahap design dilakukan pembuatan storyboard dengan penekanan pada komponen-komponen dalam metode ilmiah dan hal-hal pendukung yang dilanjutkan dengan tahapan pengembangan menjadi produk utuh. Uji validitas konten baik secara media maupun materi dengan menghitung nilai CVR dan CVI menunjukkan bahwa produk hasil pengembangan majalah elektronik memenuhi nilai minimum kevalidan 0,99 sehingga dapat dinyatakan layak untuk diuji coba baik secara terbatas maupun luas. Majalah elektronik ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan konsep metode ilmiah untuk memecahkan masalah biologi di lingkungan sekitar serta meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik melalui pendekatan naratif yang diambil dari kegiatan penelitian ilmiah yang nyata.Kata kunci: Majalah elektronik, Metode ilmiah, Model 4D.

Abstract

This research is development research, which aimed to create module of circulatory system disorder based on anti-cholesterol activity tests of Sawi Dayak - Elephantopus mollis. The data analysis use Content Validation Index (CVI) and Content Validation Rate (CVR) refers to Lawshe's method. The development of this module is in two stages: creation and validation of the module. Validator was selected based on a purposive sampling that involve two biology education experts of Universitas Tanjungpura, and three biology teachers. Presentation, graphic, content, and language aspects were evaluated, total 24 criterias. Based on the results data analysis, CVI was 0.99 in the valid category and all criteria CVR was 0.99. It was concluded that the product is suitable as teaching material for the circulatory system disorder sub-material for senior high school.

Abstract

In assessing the availability of the local potentials,  learning biology has a vital role. By the support of interactive multimedia, the delivery of materials and a sense of caring for the environment can be built by students easily. This research aims to find out the feasibility of interactive multimedia lectora inspire as a learning media in biodiversity sub-material. Research methods use quantitative descriptive and data analysis using RTVTK calculations. Lectora inspire validation is conducted by three material experts with three aspects and 11 assessment criteria and three media experts with six aspects and 13 assessment criteria. Validation results get an average of total validation (RTVTK) material experts of 3.89 and media experts of 3.65. The interactive multimedia Lectora inspires the sub-material of the use of biodiversity for class X HIgh School is considered appropriate to be used as learning media.

Abstract

The Dayak Bakati' community in Segiring Hamlet is one of the community groups that still preserve traditional ceremonies, one of which is related to the culture of planting rice. This study aims to determine the various traditional ceremonies of the Dayak Bakati Tribe related to the culture of growing rice and the types of plants used in it. The research was carried out for 2 months (July 2021 – August 2021) in Segiring Hamlet, Pisak Village, Tujuh Belas District, Bengkayang Regency. This type of research is exploratory descriptive. The results showed that in the Dayak Bakati' community in Segiring Hamlet there were several traditional ceremonies related to the culture of growing rice, including ngansa, ngawah, nyebeong pemudu', matek gerek, nyebeong naben kaja ndu naya ndu anat, and nyabakng. In carrying out traditional ceremonies, as many as 27 types of plants are used. Apart from the Dayak Bakati' tribe, several types of plants are also used by other community groups. This indicates the existence of ethnic closeness between these community groups.

Abstract

Practical guide books need to be prepared to ensure a good practicum activity. The sample used in the practicum should also be chosen carefully so as not to lead to misconception in students. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a practical guide for testing nutrients in goat's milk in Food Substances for class XI SMA. This type of research is research and development (R&D) that uses the first 3 stages of the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research instrument used was a validation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. There are 5 product validators consisting of 2 lecturers from the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Tanjungpura University and 3 biology teachers from 3 high schools in Pontianak City. The type of validation used is content validity which contains 3 aspects, namely aspects of format, content, and language. The results showed that the development of a practicum guide for testing nutrients in goat's milk was successfully carried out and obtained a validity value of CVR=1. Thus, the practicum guide is valid in content and deserves to be tested both on a limited and broad basis to ensure the suitability of the development design with the needs’ analysis. The practical guide for testing nutrients in goat's milk is also expected to be able to provide solutions to the misconceptions found in the Food Substances related to the selection of more effective and efficient practicum materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan dan besarnya pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar IPA selama pembelajaran daring pada siswa kelas VII di SMPN 11 Sungai Ambawang. Penelitian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Sumber data penelitian adalah seluruh siswa di tiga kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Sungai Ambawang.  Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar kuesioner keterlibatan orang tua yang diisi oleh siswa, dokumen tingkat pendidikan orang tua dari bagian administrasi sekolah, dan lembar hasil nilai ulangan harian IPA siswa dari guru. Data diinterpretasi dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan orangtua (thit 3,5>ttab 0,00028, sig. 0,001<0,05) dan keterlibatan orangtua (thit 2,37>ttab 0,00028, sig 0,020<0,05) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Tingkat pendidikan orang tua memberi pengaruh sebesar 51,1%, sedangkan keterlibatan orang tua berpengaruh 34,98% terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini menggabungkan 2 variabel yaitu tingkat pendidikan dan keterlibatan orang tua  dalam pembelajaran secara daring, berbeda dengan penelitian referensi yang lain yang hanya menggunakan salah satu dari 2 variabel tersebut serta penelitian dengan variabel ini mayoritas dilakukan pada penelitian sebelum Pandemi covid-19.
