Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the Xkwaver community utilizes the Telegram messaging service application as a communication medium to support its mission of becoming a safety place for Kpop and Kdrama fans to learn Islam and develop insights. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where the researcher explains his research with data sourced from interviews, observations, and documentation. From the results of the study it was found that the programs launched by the Xkwaver community via Telegram were able to invite community members to improve their quality of life and religious awareness. With the features provided by Telegram, it is felt efficient and effective for staff members to reach Xkwaver members.

Abstract

Indonesia's TikTok application is currently responding to a huge demand for creativity and business from the community. There are now several influencers in the marketing industry who use live features to run their businesses with their own linguistic style and personal branding. A linguistic style is someone's use of the richness of a language when speaking or writing. Moreover, certain types of use can also be interpreted to achieve particular effects or general characteristics of the language of the literary group. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influencer's marketing communication methods for getting customer's attention through the live TikTok feature in doing business. This research method uses the AIDA theory (Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action). The results of this study came from the TikTok account @ddhivaaaaa. This study aims not only to increase knowledge, but also to provide information on the use of language-style his TikTok application in influencer marketing, especially in live events.

Abstract

The presence of children in family life is a source of true happiness for married couples. Her greatest hope rests on the growth of her child. However, there have also been a few births of children that families did not expect, especially those with neurological disorders such as autism that impair sensory integration. The purpose of this study was to measure the communication skills of children with autism in social interactions in the Special School of Kariya Turus (SLB)-C, Medan City. The method used is a qualitative research method that uses targeted sampling techniques to select samples according to researchers. Three autistic children, namely KM, S and BS, were included, and two other informants, Veronica Ginting and Masuda Bula Matanari, participated as class teachers. Data collection techniques are carried out through observations, interviews, and documentary research. This work uses Herbert Blumer's symbolic interaction theory. The results showed that she was the only one in three of her subjects who was recognized as having the ability to successfully interact socially. KMs are interactive in their social interactions with researchers, such as reading, writing, counting, and following commands. However, S and BS show deficits in social interaction. They showed no stability in eye contact and were not very cooperative in answering the researchers' questions.

Abstract

The development of the internet has had a major impact on moral behavior, many generations are easily influenced by negative behavior in their social environment, Indonesia's moral generation in modern times faces many significant challenges. In line with this, it is hoped that the HMI organization will produce innovative and moral students within the commissariat of the Faculty of Social Sciences, UIN North Sumatra. The aims of this research are: (1) To determine the Implementation of Innovative and Moral Education Organizations; (2) Bringing Up Factors Supporting and Hindering the Implementation of Innovative and Moral Organizational Education; and (3) Assessing the Impact of Implementing Innovative and Moral Education Organizations. This research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman methodology, it also includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the findings of research conducted by the research organization HMI Commissariat of the Faculty of Social Sciences, it can be concluded that (1) Implementation of innovative and moral organizational education, namely admonishing fellow members, politeness in speaking, time discipline, mutual respect internally and externally (2) Factors supporters in the implementation of innovative and ethical organizational education, namely interest, sincerity, loyalty in realizing HMI organizations in realizing innovative and ethical students. And the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the HMI organization in realizing innovative and moral students at the Faculty of Social Sciences Commissariat are inconsistent student attendance and different student characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi reading aloud (membaca nyaring) dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas III SD Negeri 0906 Padang Sihopal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan mendeskripsikan kejadian apa saja yang didengar dan fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan SD Negeri 0906 Padang Sihopal dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas III, yaitu dengan menggunakan strategi reading aloud yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengajar siswa, yaitu dengan melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan strategi reading aloud, mempersiapkan langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan dalam proses mengajar, pengaruh dari strategi reading aloud, kolaborasi dengan perpustakaan, ilmu sosial dan kendala apa yang terjadi dalam melakukan proses reading aloud.

Abstract

Television is still the main public means of accessing information in its audio-visual format. DAAI TV is a private television station owned by the Tzu Chi Buddhist humanitarian foundation with the motto truth, virtue and beauty. All levels of management and reporters carry a moral responsibility for every program they produce. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of reporters during the news production process at DAAI TV Medan Bureau.This study used a qualitative method by interviewing two reporters and an assistant for the Sumatra Frame news program. The results of the study show how the role of the Medan bureau DAAI TV reporter in the news production process through four broadcast media management functions, namely the planning stage, namely at this stage the role of the reporter is to find and determine news coverage material, the organizing stage (organizing) namely dividing the coverage theme, the implementation stage (directing) is executing what has been designed in the pre-production stage together with the cameraman, and the control stage is making scripts and coordinating with the editor to produce news coverage that is airworthy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah tentang moderasi beragama ditinjau dari aspek akidah ahlu sunnah wal jama’ah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pandangan maupun gambaran tentang moderasi beragama dalam pandangan akidah ahlu sunnah wal jamaah di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian kepustakaan. Dimana data yang didapatkan melalui artikel ataupun tulisan dalam buku yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Kemudian dianalisis dan dituangkan dalam tulisan yang deskriptif. Hasil tulisan ini menjawab bahwa moderasi beragama dapat di terapkan sebagai upaya untuk menjaga kerukunan umat beragama mengingat banyaknya keberagaman agama di Indonesia. Dalam memahami moderasi beragama, akidah ahlu sunnah wal jama’ah berpedoman kepada Alquran. Pemahaman moderasi beragama dimaknai sebagai toleransi dalam menerima agama masing-masing. Sehingga setiap umat beragama terhindar dari sikap intoleransi, ekstrimisme, dan radikalisme.  Keanekaragaman agama bukan hanya ada di Indonesia, tetapi juga ada dibelahan dunia lain sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan mewujudkan keamanan dunia dan meningkatkan nilai toleransi beragama pada setiap umat manusia.

Abstract

The Alas people in Batu Mbulan II Village, Southeast Aceh have a unique tradition related to death. This ritual has been practiced across generations and still exists today because it is believed to have a function in their lives. This study wants to know how the death ritual is practiced by the Orang Alas in Batu Mbulan II Village; what does it mean; and its function in their social life. This is a qualitative research using case studies where data is collected through interviews and observations. The data were analyzed descriptively, and showed that: 1) The death ritual practiced by the Orang Alas in Batu Mbulan II Village is part of the local interpretation of tajhiz mayit in Islam. The ritual begins with bathing the corpse in the river, mengkiran (surrounding the coffin), talkin (teaching the dead), samadiyah (sending reward, praying for the dead, blessing tombstones and white stones). 2) This ritual has a number of meanings, as a way of remembering the dead, helping him, honoring his family; and 3) having social functions such as, strengthening solidarity, cooperation. This study shows that rituals are not only oriented to spiritual and mystical matters, but also social life

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan membaca hening (gerbaning) terhadap peningkatan minat baca siswa MTS Negeri 2 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari responden. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTS Negeri 2 Medan yaitu sebanyak 360 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 78 siswa yang ditentukan dengan rumus slovin. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah Random Sampling/Probability Sampling. Berdasarkan tabel anova pengujian X terhadap Y diperoleh nilai Fhitung 47,845 dengan tingkat siginfikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka model regresi dapat dipakai untuk memprediksi variabel X atau dengan kata lain ada pengaruh Signifikansi antara gerakan membaca hening (gerbaning) terhadap Minat Baca (Y).

Abstract

Research entitled "Evaluation of Collection Utilization Level at the Library of the Majelis Ulama Indonesia in North Sumatra." The main issue addressed in this thesis is the level of collection utilization at the Library of the Majelis Ulama Indonesia in North Sumatra. This study aims to evaluate the level of collection utilization at the library. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include surveys and documentation. Data processing uses descriptive quantitative analysis using frequency and percentage. The collected data are tested for validity and reliability using IBM SPSS v23 software. The results and discussion of this study show that the average perception score of library users is 81.85%, indicating a positive perception of collection utilization. However, efforts are needed from the library to improve or expand its collection, so that collection utilization can increase and gain better perception in the future.
