Abstract

Most of environment problems happen because of population behaviour was not environment friendly. Human quality and equalibrium environment can be known from interracting between people and environment, and factors which influence them. This study used 3 components, namely: human resources (f.e. Total Fertility Rate, Infant Mortality Rate), economy (Gross Domestic Product), and social (f.e. education). It needed secondary data and be digested with the deviasi standart measurement. And then, the data were be analysed by the descriptive analysis. The conclusion were: TFR anda IMR in Central of Java was good category because of its value were in range target. GDP in Central of Java was middle category because of even it increased but it was still under the target value, and lower than national value; the educated-people proportion was good category because of its value was in range target. The local government should press TFR and IMR in Central of Java until smaller than 2 percent through using persuative approach to reproductive couples, through increasing health and education services facilities; through expanding field of endeavour. Abstract

Industrialization is one of the goverment’s ways to increase the economical development, that the main goal is to give more chance to work. The efforts to recruit workers cannot be separated from some factors that have an effect on it, such as the growth of the population and workers, the economic development and the recruitment of worker and not to deny the other efforts that can raise higher productivity through any other programs. One of the ways to enlarge the recruitment of workers is by developing industry mainly industry which focuses on work production. Developing work production industries will raise the capacity of the production so it can make job oppotunities. Industrial Departement of Central Java, Jepara Regency’s data show that micro and middle industries are the most available and need the most employees in Jepara’s Regency is wood furnitue industries. The main goal of this researh is to analize the recruitment of employees at micro and middle wood furniture industries in Jepara’s Regency and also to find out the influence variables.The method of this analysis is multiple linear regression with double log method. Data that used in this research is based on premier data that got from directly interview with micro and middle wood furniture entrepreneurs at Jepara Regency belonging to  prepared question list.The result of this research summarize that working capital has positive and significant influence for labor requirements of micro and middle wood furniture industry at Jepara’s Regency, labor’s productivity has positive and significant influence for labor requirements of micro and middle wood furniture industry at Jepara’s Regency, labor’s wage has negative and significant influence for labor requirements of micro and middle wood furniture industry at Jepara’s Regency and the business age has positive and significant influence for labor requirements of micro and middle wood furniture industry at Jepara’s Regency.

Abstract

Industry sectors in Java Island viewed as high productivity sector, therefore high value-added will be generated from the advantage of this industry that will eventually fastened the creation of economical prosperity. Large and medium Industry have potency to become the most contributed sector on labor absorption of manpower. The purpose of this study was to analyze mapping of Labor absorption in the large and medium industry using Klassen typology analysis and determine the effect of variable Large and Medium Industry, Production Value, Private Investment, and Regional Minimum Wage on employment large and medium industry 6 provinces in Java Island for years 2008-2017. This research is using Klassen Typology and Panel data analysis with Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The result of Klassen typology Analysis indicate, there are 2 provinces in Quadrant I, 1 province in Quadrant II, 1 province in Quadrant III, and 2 provinces in Quadrant IV. The Panel data result shows that Large and Medium Industrial unit and Private Investment have positive and significant impact, while Production Value and Regional Minimum Wage have positive and non significant impact on Labor absorption in the Large and Medium Industry 6 provinces in Java Island for years 2008-2017.

Abstract

AbstrakTingginya tingkat kemiskinan di Jawa Tengah menunjukkan proses pembangunan ekonomi yang belum bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara merata. Dengan demikian, diperlukan adanya analisis untuk mengetahui factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan dalam rangka mengatasi kemiskinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), Tingkat Kemiskinan, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan pada 35 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah dari tahun 2011 hingga 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan data cross-section terdiri dari 35 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan data time-series yaitu tahun 2011-2015. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam dalam mengestimasi model regresi data panel yaitu Fixed Effect Model (FEM) atau disebut juga Least Square Dummy Variable. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel laju pertumbuhan PDRB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan. IPM berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan. Sedangkan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan. Kata kunci:      Kemiskinan, Laju Pertumbuhan PDRB, Indeks Pembangunan                                 Manusia (IPM), Fixed Effect Model.  AbstractThe high level of poverty in Central Java shows unreliable development that still cannot increase prosperity equally. Hence, analysis is required to identify several factor that affect. This research’s purpose is to identify Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP), Unemployment Level, Human Development Index (HDI) that affect the poverty level of the poverty level of 35 Districts/Cities of Central Java Province from 2011 until 2016. This research uses secondary data containing 35 Districts/Cities of Central Java on cross section data and 2011 until 2016 on time series data. The analytical method of this research is Fixed Effect Model (FEM) or Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV). The results of this research show that Growth of GDRP gives positive and significant effect for poverty level. HDI give negative and significant effect for poverty level. On the other side, Unemployment Level give positive and significant effect for poverty level. Keyword:        Poverty, Growth of GDRP, Human Development Index (HDI), Unemployment, Fixed Effect Model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of participation and willingness to pay the community in rural infrastructure development. This study uses descriptive quantitative analysis in analyzing the participation rate and the Contingent Valuation Method in analyzing the willingness to pay the community. The Data used are primary and secondary data. Primary Data sourced from questionnaire result 92 respondents. Secondary Data is sourced from Pidodo Wetan Village Office. The results Showed that the level of community participation in the construction of infrastructure Pidodo Wetan village is in the high category. Form of participation is most Widely given the power and material / food. Furthermore, the average value of willingness to pay the community of Rp.10,500 with the total value of willingness to pay of Rp.13,728,000. Family income affects the value of the willingness to pay of the community, whereas gender, age, and education have no effect on the bid willingness to pay of the community.

Abstract

The high inequality of income distribution that occurs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province shows that economic development has not succeeded in bringing equity to the community. For this reason, an analysis is needed to determine the factors that inequality of income distribution in order to reduce inequality of income distribution that occurs in the Province of DI Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of economic growth, HDI, Distric/City Minimum Wage, and Unemployment. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of D.I Yogyakarta Province. The data in this research is panel data consisting of cross section data from 5 districs/cities and time series data for 2010-2018. The data analysis used was panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect regression model. The results of the regression analysis show that economic growth does not have a significant effect on inequality of income distribution. Meanwhile, HDI, Distric/City Minimum Wages and Unemployment have a significant effect on the inequality of income distribution. HDI has a negative effect, while Distric/City Minimum Wage and Unemployment have a positive effect on inequality of income distributed in the Province of DI Yogyakarta in 2010-2018

Abstract

Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs in Indonesia was essential by the era of global competition in line with the implementation of the ASEAN economic community in 2015. The purpose of this research is designing a model and strategy of strengthening the international competitiveness of SMEs through LEDI - 9F approach. This research is using content analysis and Analytic Networking Process. This research found that the model of strengthening the international competitiveness of SMEs could be done through a model of partnership between the various stakeholders both at district, provincial and state levels. The most priority aspect to strengthen SME's competitiveness is business context with the most priority strategy that is the strategy of management and business. Based on the results of the analysis, the government can use as a reference for the government to strengthen SME's competitiveness through anticipate problems and optimize the solutions that arise in enhancing SME's competitiveness.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v17i1.6826

Abstract

Implementasi Local Economic Development (LED) sudah dilakukan baik ditingkat nasional maupn tingkat regional. Local Economic Development (LED) dilaksanakan sebagai jawaban atas kekurangefektifan paradigma pembangunan sektoral dan nasional yang belum mampu meningkatkan kinerja perekonomian daerah. Program pembangunan tersebut masih didominasi oleh arahan pemerintah dan kurang partisipasi masyarakat sehingga potensi lokal belum terdayagunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa pola kelembagaan klaster usaha dan menganalisa daya lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola kelembagaan klaster pemula maupun berkembang mampu mengembangkan potensi ekonomi lokal di Jawa Tengah, bahkan sebagian klaster-klaster sudah mempunyai kriteria daya saing internasional. Abstract

ABSTRACT               The large decline in demand for paper exports in 2014 occurred in the main destination countries of paper exports became an obstacle. The paper exports fell by 3.22% in 2014. Not only paper, but the fluctuations of paper pulp exports also fell by 6.74% in the same year. Countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia exprerience a significant decline. The unstable price of paper causes the volume fluctuations of paper exports. Another obstacle in paper demand was the increase of exchange rate volaitility of the export destination countries.. Inflation in export destination countries causes a decline in paper exports. The growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita will reflect the opportunity for paper exports in the destination country.This study aims to analyze the impact of price, inflation, exchange rate volatility and income rate towards the Indonesian paper volume exports to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia in 2002 – 2014. This study used primary data in the form of panel data. This research used multiple linear regression analysis using E-views as the method of collecting data.Based on the results, it can be concluded that the price variable, exchange rate and income rate have a positive and significant impact, while the inflation and volatility variable have a negative and unsignificant impact towards the Indonesian paper volume exports to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Australia in 2002 – 2014. Abstract

Kesejahteraan penduduk merupakan tujuan setiap daerah yang dapat tercapai dengan pembangunan ekonomi. Salah satu indikatornya adalah indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM).Pada pembangunan manusia kaitannya dengan daya beli masyarakat, pada penelitian ini di lihat dari peningkatan PDRB. Pembangunan manusia juga menhadapi masalah seperti kemiskinan dan pengangguran yang dapat menjadi efek yang serius jika di abaikan. Dalam peningkatan pembangunan manusia peranan pemerintah berpengaruh melalui kebijakan yang di terapkan di daerahnya, seperti belanja modal.   Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh PDRB, kemiskinan, pengangguran dan belanja modal terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di 35 Kabupaten/Kota Jawa Tengah pada tahun 2011  2019, Dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis  regresi panel data dengan metode Fixed Effect Model (FEM) dengan waktu penelitian 2011  2019. Hasil pada penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa PDRB berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap IPM, Kemiskinan berpegaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap IPM, sedangkan pengangguran dan belanja modal bepengaruh positif dan signifikan  terhadap IPMKata kunci: IPM, Jawa Tengah, Panel Data, Fixed effect model
