Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological condition for a mother, because there will be physical changes that affect the life of a mother during pregnancy. A healthy diet and lifestyle in pregnant women can support the growth and development of the fetus in the womb. This study used a cross sectional approach, with a correlational design to analyze the relationship between modification of carbohydrate consumption and the adequacy of the nutritional needs of pregnant women. The sample was 89 pregnant women obtained by purposive sampling. Data were collected by means of questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentary studies, with a retrospective approach about daily food consumption patterns using the FFQ (food frequency questionnaire) in pregnant women. Data analysis was carried out using chi-square test. The results of this study prove that there is a relationship between modification of carbohydrate consumption and the adequacy of the nutritional needs of pregnant women with a P-value of 0.032 and OR 2.5 meaning that pregnant women who modify their carbohydrate nutritional sources will have a 2.5 times better chance of meeting the nutritional needs of pregnant women compared to pregnant women. which does not modify the source of carbohydrate nutrition. Carbohydrates are important nutrients for both mother and fetus. Adequate carbohydrates can be met through the mother's daily nutrition. Sweet potato as a source of carbohydrates can be used as an alternative nutrient to replace rice.

Abstract

Introduction: Pregnancy is a physiological condition experienced by women after marriage. Physical changes and development occur in pregnant women can determine the health conditions of the mother and fetus. Nutritional status of the mother is one of an important key factors in pregnancy. The objective of this study determines the relationship between daily nutritional consumption of family and weight addition on pregnant. Methods: The design used in this study is correlational with cross sectional approach and the data obtained through questionnaires and documentary studies. Data analysis was carried out either quantitatively using Spearman rank or qualitative to deepen the findings in the field. Results: The results of this study found that the P-value 0.002 which means there is a relationship between the nutritional consumption with the nutritional status of pregnant women. The correlation coefficient was 0.309 which means a moderate relationship with positive correlation value implied that the better daily nutritional consumption of family, the higher nutritional status of pregnant women. Conclusions: Understanding the nutritional needs of pregnant women requires good cooperation between family and health workers.

Abstract

The nurse's physical workload can include lifting and moving patients who cannot move independently, performing medical procedures that require physical endurance, and working long hours without adequate rest periods. The study aimed to determine the physical and mental workload of health workers with the application of patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The design of this study is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach; the number of samples is 36 respondents. The research variable was an independent variable (mental and physical workload) with a dependent variable (patient safety application). The study's results related the relationship of physical workload with the application of patient safety with a value of p = 0.409 and the relationship of mental workload with the application of patient safety with p = 0.069. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between physical workload and the application of patient safety in the inpatient room. There is no relationship between mental workload and the application of patient safety in the inpatient room. Therefore, hospitals need to provide adequate support and resources to help nurses manage their workload effectively and prevent burnout and workload overload that can negatively impact healthcare workers' mental and physical health

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is an emergency case, occurs due to loss of blood and oxygen in the heart muscle. This research method uses a type of pre-experimental method with a pre-test post-test group design approach with a sample of 30 respondents from members of the youth organization.  The results of the study showed that the ability to handle pre-hospital cardiac arrest victims before being given cardiopulmonary resuscitation health education was in the sufficient low value with a percentage of 7,26 prior, while the ability to handle pre-hospital cardiac arrest victims after was in the good category with a score 11,00. The results of the T-test were also obtained, showing a significant value of 0.000. So the p value is 0.000 <0.05. So it is expected to be able to improve the ability to handle members of the youth organization in providing basic life support for cardiac arrest victims appropriately in handling which is a pre-hospital action.
