Abstract

Bundaran Dolog is surrounded by traffic area, which is being susceptible for traffic jam in peak hours. Peoples, who has been living around Bundaran Dolog, has a high risk of respiratory issues due to being exposed by nitogen dioxide (NO2) emission from vehicles. This study aims is to know the effect of the vehicles volume to the NO2 emission at Bundaran Dolog. Sampling was taken at Pelangi Park and Jemur Gayungan settlement for 8 point sampling within 6 days. The volume of identified vehicles, including light (LV), heavy (HV), and motorcycle (MC), temperature, and air flow velocity have been measured. The results shows that Pelangi Park has the average of NO2 is 30.92 ug/m3, temperature is 30,2℃ , whileJemur gayungan settlement identify concentration of NO2 41,07 ug/m3, temperature is 30,7℃ . The strong relationship between variable of different vehicles volume, temperature, air flowrate and the increasing of NO2 emission has been concluded by using multiple linear regression.

Abstract

Dalam masa sekarang ini suatu perusahaan haruslah bisa mempersiapkan dirinya menjadi lebih baik. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dalam era perdagangan maju seperti sekarang ini akan dapat mengakibatkan persaingan menjadi lebih ketat. Obyek penelitian ini adalah salah satu perusahaan penyedia tangki air di Sidoarjo. Perusahaan tersebut memiliki produk yang paling banyak diminati oleh konsumen, yakni tangki air stainless. Keunggulan dari produk tersebut adalah dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri berlebih pada air yang disimpannya. Namun dalam proses produksinya, sering kali dijumpai adanya persediaan bahan baku yang overstock. Hal tersebut dikarenakan oleh sistem perencanaan produksi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan belum sesuai dengan demand yang ada. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perancangan terhadap persediaan bahan baku tangki air stainless di perusahaan berupa jadwal produksi atau jadwal pemesanan dari masing-masing bahan baku. Keterbaruan dari penelitian ini adalah fokus dari hasil penelitian, yakni tentang penjadwalan produksi dan pemesanan bahan baku. Penelitian ini melibatkan proses peramalan dengan Moving Average dan Single Exponential Smoothing yang selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Dari pengolahan data yang sudah dilaksanakan, maka diperoleh stock out terbanyak terjadi pada komponen produk tangki air stainless yang merupakan produk jadi, yakni sebanyak sembilan kali dengan jumlah sebanyak 350 unit.

Abstract

Permasalahan pemborosan defect termasuk dalam The Seven Waste dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan pengendalian kualitas melalui teknik Lean Six Sigma yang mampu dipraktikkan pada PT. Stechoq Robotika Indonesia yaitu sebuah perusahan R&D (Research and Development) dalam aktivitasnya memproduksi produk T – Valve untuk industri alat kesehatan sebagai pelengkap bundling kantong nafas Genose dan ditemukannya kecacatan terhadap produk jadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengukuran tingkat kecacatan, penyebab kecacatan, dan rekomendasi untuk pengendalian kualitas. Dengan pengukuran nilai sigma, analisa diagram fishbone dan 5W+1H untuk menganalisa faktor penyebab dan memberikan rekomendasi yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan level sigma dengan rata - rata 4,9 dengan nilai DPMO rata – rata sebesar 264. Terdapat 3 (tiga) jenis cacat yang paling dominan yaitu jenis defect flashing, bubbles, dan short shot dengan persentase cacat defect flashing 12%, Defect Bubbles 12%, dan Short Shot 11%. Perusahaan dinilai sudah cukup baik dalam penindakan kecacatan yang didasarkan pada perhitungan bahwa tingkat nilai sigma yang mendekati 6. Namun perusahaan juga masih perlu untuk mengendalikan kualitas guna mencapai zero defect. Usulan perbaikan yang dapat diterapkan pada perusahaan yaitu dengan melakukan centerlining beserta penanda informasi pada setiap tombol dan memberi sensor pada mesin. Hal tersebut juga dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan pengawasan terhadap operator, SOP, dan kebersihan terhadap komponen dan mesin.

Abstract

In the world of the fertilizer industry in Indonesia, there are some of problems in the process of planning, procurement and, delivery of materials that adversely affect the company's operations. One approach to fixing this problem is to use a SCOR strategy that is effective in improving the supply chain. PT. X is one of the fertilizer companies whose current condition is that there are problems in planning to meet the needs for production supporting materials so which has the potential to hinder fertilizer production. This is because PT X has not carried out an analysis that hinders demand planning or the supply chain as a whole. Thus, researchers can measure the value of effectiveness in the supply chain to improve targets that have not been achieved. In this research, a scoring method called SCOR was used which included AHP weighting. Fifteen key performance indicators (KPI) were generated based on the five SCOR model indicators used in processing, namely data plan, source, make, delivery, and return. With a final score of the SCM performance level of 86.872, which is included in the Good category. However, this value can still be improved so that it is included in the excellent category, namely >90. So inecessary to identify KPI indicators that have performance values that are not yet optimal, and to make suggestions for improvements to increase PT X SCM performance values.

Abstract

Reverse logistics saat ini telah menjadi isu hangat di beberapa perusahaan di seluruh dunia. Beberapa perusahaan bahkan sangat baik dalam menerapkan reverse logistics yang ditandai dengan tingkat implementasi yang sudah dikategorikan pada level tinggi. Namun, tidak sedikit perusahaan yang masih menerapkannya pada tahap awal. PT. X adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi kayu yang berlokasi di Lawang. Saat ini, mengacu pada kerangka maturitas reverse logistics yang telah disusun sebelumnya, perusahaan telah menerapkan reverse logistics pada tingkat pengembangan. Namun pada kondisi sebenarnya masih banyak faktor yang menjadi penghambat keberhasilan implementasinya. Dalam penelitian ini, metode SWOT akan digunakan untuk memetakan kekuatan, kelemahan, hambatan, dan tantangan yang dihadapi perusahaan. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan reverse logistics di industri konstruksi antara lain rumitnya alur daur ulang, kurangnya pasar yang mau menerima produk daur ulang, kurangnya dukungan dari manajemen, dan juga tren desain produk yang tidak memperhatikan pengurangan limbah.

Abstract

PT XYZ was established as a company engaged in packaging manufacturing, especially biscuit cans and paint cans. PT XYZ was established in 1977 and has grown to become one of the leading manufacturing companies in Indonesia. In the production process, there are often many rejected goods which causes a lot of waste to occur and a decrease in profits due to the large number of rejected products at PT XYZ. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out quality control to find out the meeting point that causes problems to occur every period. In the quality control process using RCA (Root Cause Analysis). From the results of quality control, it was found that the dominant cause of the large number of rejected goods that occurred, namely the type of rupture reject which had a percentage of 98%, so that there was a need for improvement in the production process of the PT XYZ company that occurred which caused the product to reject.

Abstract

Export means transporting or bringing goods and services from one country to another coun-try. In order to evaluate how strong export competitiveness is and identify market opportunities, specific calculation methods and approaches regarding comparative advantage are needed. One of them is using the "revealed comparative advanced" (RCA) method, which provides an accu-rate picture of how competitive a product is in the international market. One measuring tool is the Balassa index, where a value of more than one (>1) indicates a strong level of competitive-ness for export products to the destination country. Conversely, a value less than one (<1) indi-cates low competitiveness and sales difficulties in that market. The calculation results show that Timor Leste has an average Balassa index of 60.685, followed by Brunei Darussalam with a Balassa index value of 12.526 and Malaysia of 4.987 and with a stable value, thus indicating good potential for exporters who want to market coffee products. roast them to the country. However, Thailand has little potential with a Balassa index of 1.944. In contrast, Singapore and the Philippines have an average Balassa index below 1, indicating there is no great potential as a profitable export market.

Abstract

The shipbuilding project is highly complex, involving multiple phases and interdependent activities with extended durations. One of the main challenges in this project is how to design an effective schedule to minimise the completion time without compromising the quality of work. The objective of this study is to analyse the project acceleration of the Machinery Outfitting of Block ASA 2A S of the A Ship at PT. XYZ using Microsoft Project software and the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM). The research process began with the collection of data on job sequences, activity durations and dependencies between activities. This data was processed using PDM to identify the critical path, which consisted of eight main activities: A, B, D, E, G, H, K and M. Through critical path analysis, rescheduling was carried out to accelerate project completion. The results show that the project duration was successfully reduced from the original plan of 61 days to 54 days, enabling PT. XYZ to complete the machinery outfitting of Block ASA 2A S on the A Ship project by 1 September 2020. This improvement increased time and cost efficiency without compromising project quality. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of using Microsoft Project with PDM to manage complex project schedules.

Abstract

Currently the industry is experiencing an increase every year. One of them is the furniture production industry. In East Java there is a furniture industry which experiences an increase in production demand every year. This does not only apply to local consumers but also foreign consumers. PT XYZ implements a make to order system, namely products are made when consumers order them. The amount of production demand is directly proportional to the amount of industrial waste produced, but the company has never carried out an analysis of the impacts. Therefore, this research will discuss environmental impact analysis using life cycle assessment to calculate the life cycle value of the production of a furniture product with cradle to gate limitations. This research was assisted by OpenLCA 2.1.0 software using the Agribalyse_301 database and then for impact assessment using the EDIP 2003 method. After calculating, recommendations for improvement were looked for to reduce the resulting environmental impact. The results of this research for 1 unit of table product production are 3.51166 Pt. The highest impact was produced by the production process, namely Ozone depletion of 0.58215 Pt. This impact can pollute the environment due to the large use of electricity. It is best for companies to use electricity from renewable sources.

Abstract

This research presents problems in the fertilizer industry with the goal of knowing the performance of fertilizer distribution. The outbound logistics process in fertilizer distribution activities is important, because it is connected to the process of delivering fertilizer products to consumers. However, in carrying out fertilizer distribution activities, there are problems that occur due to the mismatch of warehouse capacity over storage and differences in estimated delivery time. This situation results in missed fertilizer supplies for consumers. This research uses KPI criteria based on the Performance Of Activity (POA) model and performance weighting with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the value of the Company's outbound logistics performance. The discussion with company experts resulted in 12 KPI indicators based on POA criteria consisting of cost, time, capacity, capability, productivity, utility, and outcome. After weighting with the AHP method, the total outbound logistics performance of  85,918 is included in the good category and can still be improved in the excellent category by giving recommendations for improvement. So, further research can be made collaborating the AHP method with other methods such as the SCOR method to simplify the selection of supply chain process activities or using the Fuzzy AHP method to reduce the subjectivity of the research.
