Abstract

Ngrombo adalah desa di kecamatan Baki, Sukoharjo, Indonesia. Desa ini dikenal sebagai produsen kerajinan gitar, bahkan penjualannya pun tembus ke mancanegara. Desa Ngrombo dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata atas adanya Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) yang telah mendapatkan SK Kepala Desa Ngrombo No 141/17/VII/2019 tentang Pembentukan Kelompok Sadar Wisata Desa Ngrombo Kecamatan Baki Sukoharjo. Selain kerajinan gitar, wisata lain yang berkembang adalah Taman Tanggul Jebol (T2J ). Taman ini memiliki wisata air, wisata sayuran hidroponik dan tempat foto selfie yang menarik. Namun sayangnya , desa wisata ini belum memiliki makanan olahan dari sayuran hidroponik. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat , tim pelaksana melakukan tiga hal yaitu ; (1) pelatihan pengolahan bahan makanan dari sawi menjadi stick pokcoy, (2) melakukan pendampingan dalam pembuatan merek dan kemasan stick pokcoy, dan (3) pendampingan penjualan produk olahan dalam kegiatan pameran bersama dinas UMKM dan dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi, mitra telah menerapkan olahan pangan dari stik pokcoy dan bisa melakukan penjualan secara mandiri melalui pameran UMKM dan mendapatkan respon positif dari pengunjung pameran. Melihat hal ini, selanjutnya tim pelaksana bersama mitra akan membuat strategi digital marketing dengan membuat media sosial dan mendaftarkan merek dagang produk tersebut ke DJKI.

Abstract

Sistem kontrol otomatis mesin pencacah dan pengaduk sampah organik berbasis proximity sensor ini, merupakan sebuah inovasi dimana dalam komponen mesin ini tidak hanya menggunakan kontrol manual saja tetapi sudah dilengkapi sistem otomatis menggunakan deteksi sensor dan dipadukan dengan mikrokontroler proximity sensor yang canggih, sehingga memudahkan pengoperasian dari rancangan terdahulu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu, identifikasi kebutuhan, membuat desain wiring diagram sistem kontrol otomatis mesin pencacah dan pengaduk sampah organik berbasis proximity sensor, pengujian produk, dan dokumentasi produk. Adapun hasil pengujian sistem kontrol otomatis mesin pencacah dan pengaduk sampah organik berbasis proximity sensor yaitu power supply menghasilkan tegangan output 11,92VDC dengan input tegangan PLN 202VAC, tegangan input sensor yang digunakan adalah 5VDC dan tegangan input relay adalah sebesar 5VDC, waktu time delay dinamo penggerak 60 detik serta uji coba putaran dinamo penggerak adalah 1.384 RPM tanpa beban dan 1.112 RPM dengan beban serta setelan jarak ideal sensitifitas sensor adalah 200 mm dengan spesifikasi datasheet 3 – 80 cm.

Abstract

Improving the quality of research and development in the manufacturing industry is the main focus in the community service entitled "Collaborative Research Methodology Training Through Visiting Professor Malaysia for Lecturers in Indonesia". The initiation of this collaboration was carried out by the Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta, Pancasakti University Tegal, and STT Warga as a response to concerns about the quality of research by lecturers and students in Indonesia. Through research carried out by lecturers and students, whether in final assignments, theses, theses or dissertations, it is hoped that there will be increased academic activity and a deeper understanding of current developments in the manufacturing industry. In order to achieve this goal, this program involves visiting professors from Malaysia to provide research methodology training to lecturers in Indonesia. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that synergy will be created between the visiting professor's experience and knowledge and the local Indonesian context. It is hoped that this training will be able to improve the quality of research carried out by lecturers, so that it can make a positive contribution to the development of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Thus, this collaboration is a strategic step in improving academic quality and research contribution to the development of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research addresses the increasing demand for automated cleaning solutions, particularly for vehicle interiors, where traditional manual cleaning methods often prove inefficient and time-consuming. The primary aim of this study is to develop an autonomous robot vacuum cleaner capable of cleaning the floor of a vehicle by detecting dust or dirt, using a proximity sensor to avoid obstacles, and operating based on input from a dust sensor. The research follows a systematic process, including topic selection, literature review, design challenges, system design, testing, and result analysis, to evaluate the performance and limitations of the proposed system. The results of this research indicate that the robot operates effectively, with optimal movement achieved when the battery voltage ranges between 12.2V and 10.9V. Below 10.9V, the robot’s movement becomes suboptimal. The 60W vacuum cleaner on the robot successfully collects debris such as paper pieces, tissue scraps, and fine soil particles. In conclusion, this car floor vacuuming robot, based on a dust sensor, demonstrates satisfactory functionality in terms of system performance, battery life, movement, and cleaning capability. The study suggests potential for further development, particularly in enhancing technical design and integrating advanced technologies such as autonomous navigation and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract

Pendidikan 4.0 adalah paradigma pendidikan masa depan, dimana pembelajaran berwira usaha memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk diteraokan. Pembelajaran di level ini memerlukan pendampingan dari pihak dunia industry. Salah satu upaya tersebut adalah pendampingan kepada guru-guru produktif untuk melakukan berwira usaha sebagai bahan pemantik semangat untuk disampaikan kepada peserta didiknya. Salah satu SMK Swasta Muhammadiyah unggulan di kota Rembang siap mendukung Pendidikan berwira usaha melalui program Pendampingan SMK Pusat Keunggulan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan skil guru-guru produktif di SMK Muhammadiyah Kota Rembang Khususnya guru jurusan TKR untuk berwira usaha bengkel AC Mobil. Tahapan yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahap pertama adalah mencari dan mengumpulkan informasi berbagai kendala yang di hadapi di SMK Muhammadiyah Rembang. Kedua menyetting tempat serta waktu yang akan dipergunakan untuk kegiatan dan yang ketiga adalah menyiapkan bahan serta alat yang akan dipergunakan saat pelaksanaan. Lembar questioner, soal pretest dan post test juga disiapkan. Untuk Tahapan pelaksanaan workshop memakai berbagai metode diantaranya, metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan langsung praktek. Tahapan evaluasi menggunakan cara memberikan pree test dan post test, dan juga mengisi kuesioner kebermanfaatan kegiatan pengabdian ini serta pemantauan saat proses kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa workshop kewirausahaan bengkel AC Mobil yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 dan 26 desember 2023 dengan peserta sebanyak 15 guru bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dari 57,00 menjadi 78.22 dari skor maksimal 100. Selama proses pelatihan peserta sangat termotivasi dan merasa sangat puas dengan adanya pelatihan dan berharap dilakukan kegiatan serupa dimasa mendatang.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve workshop management and technician competence in the dynamo maintenance field by designing an innovative tool in the form of a linear actuator-based bearing removal puller. Dynamo workshops often face challenges in the bearing removal process, which is time-consuming, requires a lot of energy, and is prone to causing damage to dynamo components. Therefore, to overcome these problems, an automatic bearing removal tool using linear actuator technology was developed. This tool is expected to increase the work efficiency of technicians by speeding up the bearing removal process, reducing the risk of component damage, and increasing work safety. This activity has three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation in its development using an experimental approach and training skills, where tools designed based on the needs of industrial partners Kalimasada at Sukoharjo Regency were tested and continued with training on the use of tools and providing reinforcement on workshop management. The results show that using a linear actuator-based bearing release puller can reduce the release time faster to increase technician confidence in performing dynamo maintenance. Thus, this innovation significantly improves dynamo workshop operational management and technician competence.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact on various fields, including learning and research in the academic world. One potential utilization of AI is in supporting the process of writing, editing, and publishing scientific articles in reputable international journals. This article aims to present various AI strategies and applications that can be optimized by academics to improve the quality of learning and productivity of international publications. The method used is a literature study of various scientific articles, industry reports, and trials of several AI platforms commonly used in academia. The stages of activity implementation began with the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the activity show that AI has a significant role starting from the reference search stage, literature analysis, manuscript preparation, checking grammar and writing style, to the submission process and selection of suitable journals. AI integration is proven to increase time efficiency, improve manuscript quality, and increase the chances of being accepted by reputable journals. This study recommends the need for training and ethical policies in the use of AI in the academic environment so that its utilization remains in a responsible academic corridor.
