Abstract

Mutational breeding can be used to obtain superior varieties by improving some of the desired traits, without changing most of the good traits. The purpose of this study was to determine the genetic diversity of brown rice through segregation of traits in rice mutants due to gamma ray irradiation at doses of 200 gy and 300 gy. The method used is an experimental method carried out from May to September 2021 with a single plant. The distribution of the data was tested by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test using software and the segregation ratio suitability test using the Chi-Square method with a 5% significance level. The results showed that the data distribution was normally distributed, meaning that it was controlled by many genes (polygenic). on the quantitative trait whose data distribution is not normally distributed, it indicates that the trait is controlled by simplegenic. The results of the Mendel's ratio suitability test using Chi-Square for quantitative traits that follow the Mendelian ratio, which shows a segregation ratio of 9: 7 (double recessive epistasis) where the same phenotype is produced by both homozygous recessive genotypes and two recessive genes are epistatic to the dominant allele. For traits that do not follow the Mendelian ratio or their modifications, it is assumed that they are controlled by many genes (minor genes) so that individual effects are difficult to distinguish.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung perekonomian. Pengembangan lokasi wisata sangat didukung oleh keberadaan spot foto sebagai salah satu daya tarik wisata. Wisatawan umumnya mencari keberadaan spot foto yang mampu mewakili keindahan view di lokasi tersebut. Pembuatan spot foto di objek wisata glamping lembah surga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik Glamping Lembah Surga sebagai destinasi wisata dan mempercepat promosi glamping lembah surga sebagai sebuah destinasi wisata baru. Promosi tempat wisata sangat diperlukan oleh daerah-daerah yang memiliki banyak potensi wisata. Spot foto dibuat dengan rancangan yang dapat menyatu dengan alam, sehingga dipilih bambu sebagai bahan utama pembuatan spot foto. Selain itu, bambu tersedia melimpah di sekitar lokasi wisata. Pembuatan spot foto dilakukan selama 30 hari dari tanggal 30 Juni sampai dengan 1 Agustus 2022. Desain spot foto mengambil bentuk kapal api sesuai dengan topografi lokasi yang meruncing di tempat ketinggian. Hasil kegiatan adalah spot foto berbentuk kapal api berbahan baku bambu di area glamping lembah surga.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify the vegetative and generative characters of G16 rice mutants due to gamma-ray irradiation. The experiment was conducted in Saribaye Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency. The experimental design used was an Augmented Design, using three comparison plants, namely the G16 line (parent), Inpago Unram 1 variety, and IPB 3S variety. The four mutant populations tested were mutant doses of 200, 300, 400 and 500 Gy. The results showed that the induction of gamma ray mutations affected the character of plant height, flag leaf angle, flowering age, panicle length, number of filled grains per panicle, harvest age, and grain weight per clump. Comparison plants and mutant plants showed an interaction on all observed characters, except the number of total tillers and the number of productive tillers. Wide genetic diversity was shown by all characters, except flag leaf angle, total tiller number, weight of 100 grains, and weight of empty grain per clump. High heritability was obtained on the character of plant height (0.97), flag leaf angle (0.74), flowering age (0.99), number of productive tillers (0.57), panicle length (0.86), number of filled grain per panicle (0.92), number of empty grains per panicle (0.55), age at harvest (1.00), and weight of 100 grains (0.99).

Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr) is one of the significant yields and the fundamental product created in Okinawa since it is appropriate climatic condition for pineapple improvement. seeds. This study intends to decide the quantitative characters of seedlings from stem engendering of pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr) stem cutting on two assortments in Okinawa, Japan. The review was led in December 2022 at Yagaji Island Nursery, Okinawa, Japan. A quantitative descriptive approach was used in the research, and random sampling was used to select 15 seedlings from each variety based on their age, starting at 60 HST, 90 HST, and 120 HST, for a total of 90 samples. Each seed test was noticed in view of boundaries set each month, in particular seedlding level, stem width number of leaves and. Research information were dissected utilizing basic measurement examination. The mean of each character was tried utilizing the T-test at the 5% level and the connection between's qualities was broke down utilizing the r-test at the 5% level. The outcomes showed that there were contrasts in quantitative characters of the two assortments, specifically the N67-10 assortment showing taller seedlings, more number of leaves and bigger stem at the three periods of perception, with the exception of 60 days for stem distance across and 120 days for seedling level. With a range of 0.44-0.77, the phenotypic correlation between characters is real.

Abstract

Senaru Village is a tourist village that has several tourism potentials. This tourism potential needs to be developed to increase the number of tourists to the area. This activity aims to develop tourism potential in Senaru Village through various work programs at the University of Mataram. The activity was carried out from 24 November 2022 until 10 February 2023 at several locations in Senaru Village. Tourism potential development activities in Senaru Village are carried out in several stages of activity, namely debriefing, surveys, preparation of work programs and implementation of work programs. The work program implemented consists of making information boards in coffee plantations including determining the design for information boards, determining the location of information boards, selecting materials, making information boards, and placing information boards in predetermined locations; Making promotional videos of coffee plantations, waterfalls, river tubing and traditional houses including: determining the concept of  a promotional video, surveying locations for making videos, shooting videos, editing videos; Tourism awareness village outreach includes preparatory activities, socialization at the village office, and discussion sessions. Activities to clean tourist attractions in Senaru Village are carried out in mutual cooperation with youth, Pokdarwis and the community to clean waterfall tourist attractions every Sunday; Making trash cans from ecobrick includes the following activity stages: collecting materials, making trash cans from ecobrick, and placing ecobrick trash cans in a predetermined location. The results of the activities are in the form of information boards that are installed at tourist sites and prayer rooms, virtual guiding videos, increasing public understanding of tourist villages and disaster mitigation at tourist sites and ecobrick bins. The conclusion that can be drawn is that all activities have been carried out and run smoothly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) yang ditanam di luar musim dengan perlakuan pupuk daun. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan tiga ulangan dan terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu varietas tanaman cabai (V) dan pupuk daun (P). Terdapat dua varietas tanaman cabai rawit yang diuji, yaitu Sret dan Dewata 43. Sementara itu, pupuk daun terdiri atas tiga aras, yaitu tanpa pupuk daun, POMI dan Bayfolan. Data hasil percobaan dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (Anova) pada taraf nyata 5%. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) jika terjadi interaksi antara faktor dan jika masing-masing faktor tidak berinteraksi, maka diuji lanjut dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan perlakuan pupuk daun pada parameter berat buah per petak. Berat buah per petak tertinggi dihasilkan oleh varietas Dewata 43 dengan perlakuan pupuk daun POMI. Sementara itu, pertumbuhan tanaman cabai hanya dipengaruhi oleh varietas, pengaruh varietas Sret lebih baik dibandingkan varietas Dewata 43.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the appearance of agronomic characters of several genotypes of rice mutants (Oryza Sativa L.) The second generation Baas Selem (M2) is the result of mutation induction. This research was conducted in June 2021 - October 2021 in Nyiur Lembang Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. The methods used were group random design (RAK) and Augmented Design with the treatment used, namely 24 genotypes of second generation Baas Selem rice seeds (M2) with control plants. The control plant repeated 3 times, while the mutant plant was 1 time, in its application using an augmented design. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and BNT at the level of 5%. The results showed that Baas Selem rice mutants differed markedly in all observed agronomic characters, from plant height, flag leaf area, total number of tillers, number of productive tillers, number of grain contained, number of empty grains, weight of grain contained, weight of empty grain, weight of grain 100 seeds, flowering age of harvest age and panicle length.
