Abstract

Unsur hara P (Posfor) sangat penting bagi tanaman padi gogo beras merah. Tanaman padi yang kekurangan P akan memberikan produksi yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini telah dilakukan, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk P terhadap komponen hasil galur padi gogo beras merah dengan melaksanakan percobaan pot di rumah plastik dari bulan Februari sampai Mei 2016. Percobaan dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu: dosis pupuk P yaitu tanpa pupuk P (d1), 100 kg SP36/ ha (d2) dan 200 kg SP36/ ha (d3); faktor galur padi gogo beras merah yang terdiri dari 8 galur yaitu AMP-G1, AMP-G2, M-G3, AMP-G4, M-G5, M-G6, M-G7 dan M-G8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dosis pupuk P rendah yaitu dosis pupuk SP36 100 kg/ ha memberikan bobot gabah berisi (15,23 g/ pot) dan bobot 100 butir gabah (3,03 g/ 100 butir) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pemberian dosis pupuk SP36 200 kg/ ha. (2) Perbedaan galur memberikan komponen hasil padi gogo beras merah yang berbeda, yang mana bobot gabah berisi per rumpun dan bobot 100 butir gabah tertinggi pada galur M-G7 (18,55 g/pot dan 3,20 g/100 gabah). (3) Respon antar galur padi gogo beras merah bervariasi terhadap pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk SP36, yang mana galur yang memberikan hasil tertinggi pada dosis pupuk P rendah yaitu dosis pupuk SP36 100 kg/ ha adalah galur AMP-G1, M-G6 dan M-G7 untuk bobot gabah berisi dan galur M-G6, M-G7 dan M-G9 untuk bobot 100 butir gabah.  Phosphorus is one of the most important things for upland brown rice. Rice plants that low P will provide low production. Therefore, this research was aimed to the effect of P fertilizer dosage on the yield components of upland brown rice. The experiment was conducted in a plastic housing from February to May 2016. The experiment design was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors, namely: P fertilizers i.e; without P fertilizer (d1), 100 kg SP36/ hectare (d2), and 200 kg SP36/ hectare (d3). The other factor is strain with 8 levels, i.e: AMP-G1, AMP-G2, M-G3, AMP-G4, M-G5, M-G6, M-G7 dan M-G8.  Results show that: (1) Low dosage of P fertilizer  SP36 100 kg / ha gave the weight of grain containing (15,23 g / pot) and 100 grain weight (3.03 g / 100 egg) higher than SP36 fertilizer 200 kg / ha. (2) Different strains give different yield components of brown rice, which grain weight contains per clump and weight of the highest 100 grains on M-G7 strain (18.55 g / pot and 3.20 g / 100 grain). (3) The response between the upland brown rice varies with the provision of various doses of SP36 fertilizer, which is the highest yield of low fertilizer dosage ie SP36 100 kg / ha fertilizer is AMP-G1, M-G6 and M- G7 for grain weight contains and M-G6, M-G7 and M-G9 strains for weight of 100 grains of grain.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to examine yield performance of promising amphibious red rice lines, and to evaluate their adaptability to six growing environments in Lombok, Indonesia. Ten promising amphibious red rice lines were tested together with their three parents and one national cultivar (Aek Sibundong), during the rainy extended to dry season 2014 (January-June 2014). The ten promising lines were obtained from two population sources, while the three parents were AKBC52, AKBC86, and a local cultivar, i.e. Kala Isi Tolo (KIT). The testing environments were lowland in Mambalan village (West Lombok), medium highland in Mantang village (Central Lombok), and highland in East Sembalun village (East Lombok), and each location consisted of two systems, i.e. flooded and dry (upland) systems. The experiment in each environment was designed according to Randomized Complete Block Design, with three replications and 14 genotypes as the treatments. Adaptation analysis was based on ANOVA using AMMI and Biplot. The results indicated that among the 14 genotypes, G10(F2BC4A52-42) showed the highest yield, with an average of 7.8 t ha-1 dry seeds. There was a significant Genotype x Environment interaction on the dry seed yield. Biplot analysis indicated that G2(F2BC4A52-44) and G8(F2BC4A52-37)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of corn-sorghum cropping patterns on several environmentally friendly fertilization packages that can improve the quality of soil fertility streamline the use of inorganic fertilizers and improve crop yields on dry land. This research was conducted at Akar-Akar Village, Bayan District, North Lombok. The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design, by testing five environmentally friendly fertilization packages on the corn-sorghum cropping pattern and repeated 4 times. The results showed that the response of maize-sorghum cropping patterns to the fertilizing package 60% lower than the recommended fertilizer dosage with the addition of 12 tons of manure per ha accompanied by mycorrhizal inoculation increasing soil fertility shown by increasing nutrient status of N, P, K and ingredients soil organic matter, increasing plant nutrient uptake (N, P, K and Ca), growth, crop yields and MA activity in the soil.

Abstract

This study was aimed to examine effect of inoculation with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and intercropping with several mungbean varieties on yield components of red rice grown under aerobic irrigation technique. The experiment was carried out in a pot in the plastic house from June to September 2017. The experiment was designed using Completely Randomized Design with two treatment factors arranged factorially, i.e. AMF inoculation (M0= without, or M1= with AMF inoculation) and mungbean varieties (V) grown together with red rice plant (V1= Kenari, V2= Vima-1, V3= Vima-3, V4= Merak, and V5= No. 129 ). Each treatment combination was made in triplicate. The results indicated that inoculation had a significant effect in increasing filled panicle number, number of filled grains, and dry grain yield per pot, while decreasing percentage number of unfilled grains. For the rice plants incoluated with AMF, intercropping with mungbean of Kenari and Merak varieties produced similar or higher number of filled panicles compared to those without intercropping. In contrast, for the rice plant without inoculation with AMF, intercropping resulted in lower amount of filled panicles than those without intercropping.

Abstract

Kadar brix batang sorgum berkisar 13-18 % sementara produktivitas sorgum di lahan kering umumnya masih relatif rendah (1-3 ton/ha). Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari cara meningkatkan kadar brix dan produktivitas sorgum di tanah pasiran di lahan kering. Percobaan menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial terdiri atas Phonska 3 aras, yaitu P0 (kontrol), P150, P300 dan Fitosan 2 aras, yaitu F0 (kontrol) dan F5. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali sehingga terdapat 6 kombinasi perlakuan, yaitu kontrol (P0F0), tanpa pupuk Phonska dan Fitosan 5 ml/liter (P0F5), pupuk Phonska 150 kg/ha dan tanpa Fitosan (P150F0), pupuk Phonska 150 kg/ha dan Fitosan 5 ml/liter (P150F5), pupuk Phonska 300 kg/ha dan tanpa Fitosan (P300F0), pupuk Phonska 300 kg/ha dan Fitosan 5 ml/liter (P300F5) dengan ukuran petak 3,5 m x 5 m. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis keragaman (ANOVA), dilanjutkan Uji BNJ 5% terhadap perlakuan yang berbeda nyata. Hasil: pemberian pupuk Phonska dan Fitosan dapat meningkatkan kadar brix sehingga mencapai titik optimum pada umur 86 HST yaitu 19,34%. Pemupukan Phonska 300 kg/ha dan ZPT Fitosan 5ml/liter memberikan hasil yang lebih baik terhadap hasil tanaman sorgum sebesar 3,40 t/ha untuk Phonska dan 2,92 t/ha untuk Fitosan.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of organic fertilization and red rice varieties on growth and yield of soybean grown together with various red rice varieties under aerobic system irrigation. The pot experiment, carried out in the plastic house of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram in the Narmada experimental farm, was arranged according to the Completely Randomized Design, with three replications and two treatment factors, namely organic fertilization using bokashi of cattle manure (16 ton/ha) applied at rice planting (P0 = without; P1 = with organic fertilizer), and red rice varieties (V1= AM-G2, V2= AM-G4, V3= AM-G9, V4= AM-G10, V5= Inpari 24, V6= Inpago Unram-1), under aerobic irrigation system through sub-irrigation. Pre-germinated soybean seeds (“Anjasmoro” variety) were relay-planted 18 days after planting rice. The results indicated that organic fertilization only significantly increased weights of dry stover, dry pods and grain yield of soybean, whereas rice varieties only affected dry pod weight, and the interaction effect was significant only on soybean grain yield, with the highest average of 17.77 g/pot (equivalent to 2.84 ton/ha) in soybean relay-planted with organic-fertilized rice of “Inpari 24” variety, which grain yield was the lowest (11.1 g/pot or 1,78 ton/ha), indicating that there were below-ground competitions between rice and soybean grown in one pot. However, in the treatment producing the highest rice grain yield (40.9 g/pot or 6.54 ton/ha), the average soybean grain yield was 13.7 g/pot (or 2.19 ton/ha), which is still quite high (far above the national productivity), so relay-planting soybean with rice crop in aerobic irrigation systems supplied with organic fertilizer is still feasible.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine growth and yield of two varieties of peanut in a 2:2 replacement series intercropping system with black rice under aerobic irrigation system on raised-beds. The experiment, carried out on irrigated rice fields in South Kediri village (West Lombok, NTB) from May to August 2019, was arranged according to Split Split-Plot Design with three treatment factors, namely intercropping system as the main plots (T1: intercropping 2:2 rows between peanuts and black rice; T2: peanut monocrop), peanut varieties as the sub-plots (V1: Bison; V2: Hypoma-1 variety), and combinations of inorganic-organic-bio-fertilizers for black rice as the sub-sub-plots (P1: NPK fertilizer only; P2: NPK+Petroganik; P3: NPK+Petroganik+mycorrhiza bio-fertilizer). The intercropped peanut was fertilized only with 200 kg/ha Phonska (NPK). The results indicated that the most influencing treatment factors were intercropping systems and combinations of inorganic-organic-bio-fertilizers. However, there were significant two-factor-interactions, namely between varieties and intercropping systems on peanut leaf number, dry stover weight and dry filled-pod weight, and between intercropping systems and fertilizer combinations on seed yield and harvest index. Dry seed yields were not significantly different between varieties, but were higher under P3 (21.17 g/clump) or P2 (20.67 g/clump) compared to P1 (19.35 g/clump), while peanut intercropped with black rice resulted in higher seed yield (22.10 g/clump) than monocroped peanuts (18.69 g/clump). Based on the interaction between intercropping systems and fertilizer combinations, the highest seed yield was obtained in peanuts intercropped with black rice fertilized with NPK+organic+bio-fertilizer (23.65 g/clump) and the lowest average was in monocropped peanuts (17.87 g/clump).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of competition with nutsedge and Eleucine grasses in autoclave sterilized and non-sterililized soil on growth and yield of mungbean. The experiment was carried out in the glasshouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram, from January to March 2015, arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), testing 3 treatment factors namely; two soil conditions (autoclave sterilized and non-sterilized), two types of weeds (nutsedge and Eleucine), and weed populations (0, 2 and 4 clumps / polybag), each of which was replicated 3 times, so there were 36 experimental units for each series. The experiment was made in 2 series; first series for measurement of plant dry weight at 6 weeks after seeding, and the second series was for measurement of mungbean seed yield. The results indicated that the three treatment factors affected growth and yield of mungbean. Growth of the mungbean plants was better in the non-sterilized soil compared with in sterilized soil. In terms of weed competition, Eleucine grass was more severe in suppressing growth and yield of mungbean compared with nutsedge grass, whereas of weed population, the treatment without (0) weeds resulted in much better growth of mungbean plants than the treatments of 2 or 4 weeds per polybag

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemupukan organik menggunakan bokashi pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dua genotip padi beras merah yang ditumpangsari dengan kedelai pada sistem irigasi aerobik pada bedeng di lahan sawah entisol. Percobaan ditata menurut Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 3 ulangan (blok) dan 2 faktor perlakuan yang ditata secara faktorial, yaitu varietas padi beras merah (V1= varietas Inpago Unram 1 dan V2= galur Amp-G9), dan pemupukan organik dengan bokashi pupuk kandang sapi (B1= tanpa bokashi hanya NPK dosis anjuran, B2= bokashi 20 ton/ha + NPK dosis anjuran, dan B3= bokashi 20 ton/ha + NPK 50% dosis anjuran). Penanaman padi beras merah dilakukan dengan tugal benih langsung pada bedeng dengan jarak tanam 25 x 25 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi maupun varietas, namun pemupukan bokashi berpengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan beberapa komponen hasil padi beras merah termasuk hasil gabah per rumpun. Pemupukan organik dengan bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 20 ton/ha disertai pupuk NPK dosis anjuran memberikan hasil gabah tertinggi (41,6 g/rumpun), tetapi jika dosis NPK diturunkan menjadi 50% dosis anjuran terjadi penurunan hasil gabah yang signifikan (27 g/rumpun) dibandingkan dengan hanya menggunakan pupuk NPK dosis anjuran (35,1 g/rumpun), yang mengindikasikan ketergantungan produksi padi di lahan sawah irigasi yang masih tinggi terhadap pupuk NPK.

Abstract

Pemupukan nitrogen dan bokashi terutama pada umbi bibit berukuran kecil merupakan salah satu usaha untuk menekan biaya dan meningkatkan produksi bawang merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemupukan bokashi dan nitrogen terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah pada berbagai ukuran umbi bibit. Percobaan dilaksanakan dalam rumah plastik dari bulan Juni sampai sampai Agustus 2015 di Praya (Lombok Tengah), yang ditata dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dengan 3 faktor perlakuan, yaitu ukuran umbi bibit (U1= 2,5-3,5 g, U2= 6-7 g, dan U3= 9,5-10,5 g), dosis pupuk bokashi (B0= tanpa bokashi, B1= 10 ton/ha, B2= 20 ton/ha, dan B3= 30 ton/ha), dan dosis pupuk nitrogen (N1= 140 dan N2= 190 kg/ha). Dengan demikian terdapat 24 kombinasi perlakuan, yang dibuat dalam 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antar ketiga faktor perlakuan dalam mempengaruhi hasil umbi bawang merah. Walaupun ukuran umbi bibit tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot hasil umbi kering, namun analisis regresi menunjukkan semakin besar ukuran umbi bibit yang ditanam, semakin tinggi berat umbi yang dihasilkan. Pupuk bokashi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas bawang merah dengan hasil tertinggi (12,36 g/pot) diperoleh pada dosis tertinggi (30 ton/ha), sedangkan penggunaan pupuk nitrogen lebih baik pada dosis 140 daripada 190 kg/ha N.
