Abstract

Roads are an important aspect for most residents to support various activities so one must pay attention to one of them from the lighting side. With inadequate street lighting conditions, it will certainly cause obstacles to supporting residents' activities at night. Currently, residents of Pangbogohan Village, Ranca Iyuh Village, Tangerang Regency really need street lighting to support residents' activities. In this case, we would like to apply for assistance with the installation of street lighting on Jalan Sujono, Ranca Iyuh Village, Pangbogohan Village, Tangerang Regency. This is in line with the task of lecturers in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, one of which is community service activities. The purpose of the installation of street lights is to provide comfort for local residents when they are active at night and avoid things related to the lack of lighting. and calculate the capacity and number of lamps. The result of these activities is the creation of adequate street lighting so that it is of great benefit to local residents

Abstract

Utilization of Solar Panels as a fulfillment of electrical energy needs is very important, considering the conventional power sources currently used are very limited, which does not rule out the possibility of scarcity in the future. For this reason, a solar panel development was made with the addition of a flat mirror reflector in order to increase the effectiveness of performance. besides the implementation of the development of microcontroller technology as a monitoring system, so that the data obtained can be done automatically, continuously and stored. In this design, it uses current and voltage sensor which will be processed by the microcontroller with data results in the form of current, voltage and power values ​​as well as time information for the resulting data. The data that shows the effectiveness of the performance of solar panels in this study is to compare the power generated by solar panels between solar panels without reflectors, solar panels with additional reflectors with installation angles of 450 and 750, so that it is known that the greatest efficiency value is in the performance of solar panels with additional reflectors installation angle of 750 is 1.06%.

Abstract

 Listrik sudah umum digunakan di setiap rumah tangga, perkantoran dan jndustri. Listrik digunakan untuk megoperasikan peralatan yang dibutukan manusia. Di samping memberi manfaat yang luar biasa besar perlu diketahui juga bahwa listrik juga berpotensi menimbulkan bencana hingga menyebabkan kematian. Saat ini suplai listrik pesatren didapat dari PLN dengan langganan listrik satu phasa. Sistem instalasi kelistrikan yang ada sekarang sudah sesuai dengan Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik. Selain aspek instalasi listrik yang sesuai standar, terdapat aspek keselamatan yang lain yang perlu mendapat perhatian yaitu aspek keselamatan manusia dari kegagalan isolasi dan bahaya tegangan sentuh. Tegangan listrik yang mengalir melalui penghantar ada kemungkinan tersentuh oleh santri. Kebiasaan santri yang menggunakan fasilitas listrik sambil posisi rebahan saat berada di kamar. Tujuan Kegitan ini adalah memperkenalkan perlatan yang bisa mengamankan pengguna listrik dari tegangan sentuh. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan ceramah dan pemasangan unit pengaman Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker. Kegiatan terlaksana dengan peserta semua santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah di Desa Mekarjaya Kabupaten Tangerang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan penyampaian materi teori dan pelakasnaa pengaman ELCB. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah semua peserta memahami pentinya penggunaan serta cara terpasangnya alat pengaman ELCB di pondok pesantren sebagai pengaman satri dari tegangan sentuh. Serta peralatan bisa bekerja dengan baik

Abstract

The runway lighting system is a vital facility to ensure flight operational safety, especially at night or in low visibility conditions. This study aims to design the re-installation of threshold and runway end lights at Fransiskus Xaverius Seda Maumere Airport, transitioning from elevated to inset type with a 7-0-7 configuration on a 45-meter wide runway. The use of the inset type aims to create an obstacle-free zone at the runway threshold to minimize the risk of damage to aircraft tires and landing gear. The methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) level 1, which includes field observations, interviews, and technical design. Load analysis results indicate a total circuit power requirement of 1.68 kVA, which is optimally served by a 4 kVA Constant Current Regulator (CCR) with an operational efficiency level of 42%. Geometric calculations resulted in a light spacing of 2.25 meters with an 18-meter center gap, complying with ICAO Annex 14 standards. Theoretical testing confirmed a voltage drop of 91.47 Volts, ensuring a stable distribution of the 6.6 Ampere current. The outputs of this research are Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) documents as technical references for the field implementation of the re-installation.

Abstract

The background of this study is the frequent damage to the solar cell-based Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system at Douw Aturure Nabire Airport, while this system is the only visual landing aid used. This condition has the potential to disrupt the operational reliability of the airport and flight safety, especially during the approach and landing of aircraft. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of damage to the solar cell-based PAPI system and compare its reliability with the conventional PAPI system that uses a Constant Current Regulator (CCR). The method used is a descriptive method with a survey approach through field observations, technical measurements, technician interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed descriptively and using a fishbone approach to identify the factors causing the damage, as well as a comparative analysis between the solar cell PAPI and CCR PAPI systems. The discussion of the research includes the performance of solar panels, batteries, inverters, and PAPI lights, the patterns of damage that occurred, and a comparison of the reliability, energy sources, and frequency of interference between the solar cell and CCR systems. The conclusion of the study shows that solar cell-based PAPI systems have a lower reliability level than CCR-based PAPI systems due to power supply instability and environmental influences, thus requiring improved maintenance and system evaluation to support flight safety
