Abstract

ABSTRACT   Patients’ satisfaction is the objective of health service improvement. Satisfaction will drive them to loyally obey every treatment given and vice versa. The purpose of the research was to find out the correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital The research was designed by correlation. The population was all of antenatal care’s patients on Kediri Baptist Hospital. The number of sample was 60 respondents and taken using Random Sampling. The independent variable was satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients while the dependent variable was delivery’s motivation. The data were analyzed using Spearman Rho with significant level α≤0.05. The result showed 50 respondents (83.3%) felt very satisfied and having high motivation (93.3%) to deliver on Kediri Baptist hospital. The result of statistical testing showed p=0.022. Therefore, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted meaning that there was correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital In conclusion, there was correlation between satisfaction of antenatal care’s patients and delivery’s motivation on Kediri Baptist hospital   Keywords: satisfaction, motivationn, antenatal care’s patients

Abstract

One of the factors that cause diarrhea in children under five years old is contaminated food and generally it is because the poor personal hygiene in food processing  performed by caregivers of child under five years old, especially mother. The purpose of this study to analyze the corelation between individual hygiene patern and the frequency of diarrhea incident to children under five years old in pediatric ward of Kediri Baptist Hospital. The design of this study was correlation analytic. The respondents in this study were mothers who had child under five years old who had suffered from diarrhea. The numbers of sample were 34 respondents with purposive sampling method. The independent variable was personal hygiene pattern and the dependent variable was frequency of diarrhea incident. The data was collected by quetionare and then analized using Spearman’s Rho with significance level α < 0, 05 and diarrhea incidents frequencies by interviewing the mother. The results showed p = 0.000 with a correlation coefficient of -0.882, The conclusion is poor personal hygiene of mother will increase the incidence of diarrhea in children under five years old.

Abstract

Creativity is a dimension of child ability in developing science, technological, and artistic. Appropriate parent’s care pattern will optimize child’s creativity. The purpose of this research was to analyze correlation between parent’s care patterns and child creativity’s level at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kediri. The research’s design was correlation analytic. The populations were all children and parents at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kediri. Using Total Sampling, it was obtained 132 respondents who fulfilled inclusion criteria. The independent variable was parent’s care patterns while the dependent variable was child creativity’s level. The data were collected by the structure interview and questioners. Those were analyzed using the statistical test of lambda with level of significance ρ = 0.05. The result showed significance ρ = 0,028, it meant Ho refused, so that there was correlation between the level of child’s creativity and parent’s care pattern at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kota Kediri. Authoritative parent’s care pattern optimizes child creativity’s level. Further studies are suggested to analyze the other factors that influence the level of child creativity’s level which is not yet studied in the recent research. Those are age, the parent’s education, the availability of facility, and time spent.

Abstract

Stimulation is important in children's cognitive development. Parent’s play an important role in supporting playing activities of the children. The objective of this study was to analyze correlation betwen the parent’s roles of children playing activities with cognitive development of preschool children (5-6 years).  The design of this study was cross sectional. The population was all of parents and student at kediri baptis setia bakti kindergarten. The samples were 38 respondents taken by total sampling. The  independent variable was parent’s roles of  children playing activities. The dependent variable was cognitive development of  preschool children (5-6 years). The data’s were collected using questionnaires and observation list (checklist), then analyzed using spearman rho with significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The result showed p = 0,161, where p > α it mean that ha was refused and h0 was accepted. The conclusion of this study, there was no correlation betwen the parent’s roles of children playing activities with cognitive development of  preschool children (5-6 years) in kediri baptis setia bakti kindergarten.
