Abstract

Introduction: Clinical Learning is a process of transformation of the student to become a professional nurse. Clinical Nurse Educator contributes to improve the quality of clinical learning because of variety of roles ranging from planning, implementing and evaluating learning clinical practice. Improving the quality of clinical practice learning, can be reached by improving the performance of Clinical Nurse Educator. The aim of this study was to know the effect of psychological variables and organizational variables to the competence and performance of Clinical Nurse Educators. Sample was Clinical Nurse Educators who work inpatient wards at Kediri Baptist Hospital inpatient wards.Method: This study was conducted in two stages. Phase I measure the competence and performance of Clinical Nurse Educator by Supervisor and students, as well as psychological variables and organizational variables by using questionnaires. Phase II was done by Focused Group Discussion to discuss about the variables that affect Clinical Nurse Educator performance. Data processed using Partial Least Square with α = 0.05, path coefficient = 0.5 and t table = 1.96.Result: The results of this research is showed that Performance Nurse Educator can be improved by increasing Individual Competence with path coefficient= 0.600 and t = 6.741. The individual competence will be increase by improving pscychological aspect nurse educator such as perception, personal aspect, motivation, learning skill and attitude with path coefficient = 0.518 and t = 2.715. Psycological Aspect can be increasing by improving Organization Variable such as Organization Resource, Salary, Organization Structure and Job Description with path coefficient = 0.825 and t = 19.658.Discussion: The conclusion of this result that increase of nurse educator competence and performance can be effort by improving psycological aspect and organizational variable

Abstract

Background : The one part of controlling hypertension is improving the quality of human resources, especially in case management and program management. Health education is an effort to achieve this. One of the health education that can be given is health education for health workers and non-health workers in controlling hypertension sufferers. Efforts to train non-health workers, in this case are cadres. Method : The approach method used is lecture and discussion methods and monitoring is carried out every month. Results : From the data obtained from 30 elderly, 67% or 20 elderly have a good level of knowledge. It can be seen that the elderly are more aware of their hypertension condition and the family patiently escorts the elderly to do check-ups at the posyandu for the elderly. After being given health education on efforts to optimize family duties in providing care for the elderly with hypertension to prevent complications in RW 2, Ward Ward, Kediri City when helping cadres and family members in increasing knowledge of the elderly, so that the family understands how to care for the elderly with hypertension and the elderly also understand how to treat the elderly with hypertension. Conclusion : It is hoped that the cadres will be more active in providing information to the elderly about the importance of posyandu activities and health checks, and cadres can provide health education to the elderly about health.

Abstract

Background: First Aid is a rescue measure so that the victim's condition does not worsen before assistance from professional medical personnel arrives. Knowledge of first aid is very important for the public to know in dealing with emergencies. Many of us have encountered students who had an accident, whether it was broken bones, fainting, sprains, etc., who were given the same treatment and even made an error in giving help. This condition is of course very dangerous if it results in aggravating the patient's condition. This activity aims to increase students' knowledge of first aid in everyday emergency cases.Method: Community service activities are carried out in the form of Health Promotion using videos and webinars as an effort to improve the ability of high school students to perform first aid in daily emergencies.Result: At the end of the activity the participants experienced an increase in knowledge. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out to prevent an increase in morbidity and mortality rates in the communityConclusion: Health Promotion with Video and webinars can improve the ability of high school students to carry out first aid in daily emergencies correctly.

Abstract

Leprosy occurs due to impaired neurological function in the eyes, hands or feet. The principle of the prevention of disability and the severity of disability is essentially 3M: Checking the eyes, hands and feet regularly, protecting the eyes, hands and feet from physical trauma and self-care. The purpose of this study is to study the behavior of prevention of defects and the increase of defects in leprosy patients in the Outpatient Installation of Leprosy Hospital Kediri. The design of this study is descriptive. The population of this research is leprosy patient with purposive sampling technique of 92 subjects. Variables are preventive behaviors, data collection using structured interviews. Analyzed using frequency distribution. The result of this research is 54,3% leprosy patients have defect prevention behavior and less defect and 45,7% of leprosy patients have defect prevention behavior and sufficient defect increase. It was concluded that leprosy patients in the Outpatient Installation of Leprosy Hospital Kediri have defect prevention behavior and less defect increment.

Abstract

Introduction: Surgery is performed for various reasons, for example for diagnostic, curative, reparative, recontructive, palliative. Elective and emergency surgery is a tense complex event (Digiulio, 2007). The anxiety they experience is usually associated with all kinds of foreign procedures that the patient must undergo and also the threat to life safety due to all kinds of surgical procedures and anesthesia (Majid, 2011). Objectives: The research objective was to study the description of nurses role in providing mental support to the preoperative patients at outpatient installation of Baptis Hospital Kediri, the research design was descriptive. Method: Population in this research that was all patients that would be performed operation at outpatient installation of Baptis Hospital Kediri, number of samples researched were 62 respondents. The variable of this research was nurses role in providing mental support to the preoperative patients. The instrument used by the researcher was the questionnaire, and the analysis used the descriptive frequency. Result: The results of the nurses role in providing mental support to the preoperative patients at outpatient installation of Baptis Hospital Kediri were 62 respondents obtained enough result that were 53 respondents (85.5%), got good result as many as 2 respondents (3.2%), got less than 7 respondents (11.3%). Conclusion: Conclusion of research showed that nurses role in providing mental support to the preoperative patients at outpatient installation of Baptis Hospital Kediri was enough.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pandemi covid-19 telah membawa dampak disemua kalangan, tidak terkecuali anak-anak yang merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Di Era New Normal, penting untuk mempersiapkan kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh peserta didik, keluarga, masyarakat serta pihak sekolah. Sesuai hasil observasi yang dilakukan pengabdi di SD Kalipang 4 Grogol Kabupaten Kediri didapatkan hampir seluruh siswa tidak menggunakan masker saat di sekolah. Pihak sekolah sangat perlu membuat himbauan tentang system belajar mengajar yang baru sehingga resiko infeksi covid 19 bisa dikurangi, keselamatan kesehatan semua pihak dapat ditingkatkan. Metode: Pengabdian yang dilakukan mulai dari pengurusan ijin melakukan tindakan pengabdian masyarakat, diskusi perencanaan lokasi pemasangan tempat hand sanitizer di setiap kelas. Diskusi ini dilakukan secara bersama dengan mitra sebagai penentuan lokasi, menyiapkan sarana dan fasilitas serta bahan yang digunakan, pemberian edukasi kepada semua siswa SD Kalipang 4 Grogol tentang protocol kesehatan berupa penerapan social distancing (jaga jarak apabila disekolah), cara menggunakan masker yang benar, senantiasa mencuci tangan serta memakai hand sanitizer sehabis memegang suatu barang, pembagian masker kepada seluruh siswa yang bekerjasama dengan kepala sekolah dan wali kelas. Populasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah seluruh siswa SD Kalipang 4 Kabupaten Grogol. Hasil: Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kalipang 4 Grogol Kabupaten Kediri memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam penerapan protocol kesehatan berupa social distancing (jaga jarak apabila disekolah), cara menggunakan masker yang benar, senantiasa mencuci tangan serta memakai hand sanitizer sehabis memegang suatu barang serta dapat mengaplikasikan cara menggunakan masker yang benar, senantiasa mencuci tangan sesuai standar Kesimpulan: Baja Rotan (Pengembangan Pembelajaran Protokol Kesehatan) yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan siswa sekolah dasar Kalipang 4 Grogol Kabupaten Kediri.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Masalah yang masih banyak dihadapi oleh Bangsia Indonesia salah satunya adalah masalah kesehatan pada anak usia sekolah. Anak merupakan masyarakat yang belum berusia 18 dan belum menikah (UU no. 23 tahun 2002). Jumlah penduduk Indonesia sepertiganya terdiri dari anak yang cukup besar yaitu 23% (Prasetyo, 2014) dan dari populasi anak tersebut sebagian besar menempuh pendidikan di TK SD. Metode : Metode pendekatan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan health education pentingnya Unit Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dan Pengadaan sarana UKS di setiap kelas untuk mengupayakan pelaksanaan UKS di tatanan sekolah dasar. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi masalah peran apakah yang harus dilakukan ketika memiliki UKS di sekolah sebagain besar siswa menjawab menjadi peserta UKS dengan jumlah peserta yang menjawab 28 (96,6%) dan siswa memiliki harapan memiliki UKS di sekolahnya. Siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampulan dalam hal melaksanakan tugas menjaga perilaku hidup berih dan sehat dengan menjalankan program UKS di Sekolah sehingga tercipta kehidupan kesehatan yang aman di sekolah pada masing-masing siswa

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the result of a patient's assessment of health services by comparing what is expected whether or not it is appropriate or not with the health services received in a hospital health setting. This study aims to describe patient satisfaction with Inpatient Installation in Simpang Lima Gumul Public Hospital of Kediri. The research design used in this study is explorative. The population in this study were all patient in Punai and Kasuari Ward at Inpatient Installation in Simpang Lima Gumul Public Hospital of Kediri. Sample method is a total sampling technique. Data collected using questionnaire. Data analysis using frequency distribution. The results patient satisfaction on the tangibles aspect was very satisfied (53.8%), on the reliability aspect was satisfied (51.9%), on the responsiveness aspect was very satisfied (48.0%) and on the assurance aspect patients was satisfied (63.5%). Patients were very satisfied on the tangibles, responsiveness and empathy aspects, while on the reliability and assurance aspects they were satisfied.

Abstract

Early childhood is a child who is in the process of growth and development. At this age all aspects of child development progress very rapidly. Aspects of development in early childhood include intellectual, physical-motor, socio-emotional, language, moral and religious aspects. All aspects of development that exist in this child should be the concern of educators so that these aspects of development can develop optimally. The purpose of this community service activity is to observe the developmental psychology of children aged 3-5 years at Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten, Kediri City. The approach offered for increasing the degree of health through observation of child development psychology with the play therapy method is the method of observation and puppet stage play therapy. The results of this community service activity The number of children who took part in developmental psychological observation activities and play therapy through the puppet stage were 29 children consisting of 19 girls (65.52) and 10 boys (34.48). The psychological level of child development was obtained from 29 children, 23 children had good developmental psychology and 6 children had poor developmental psychology. It is hoped that the play therapy method with the puppet stage will improve the psychology of child development so that children can achieve maximum growth and development according to their age.

Abstract

Lanjut usia mengalami penurunan memori ditandai dengan daya ingat berkurang. Penatalaksanaan penurunan memori salah satunya yaitu latihan otak (brain gym). Penelitian ini melihat pengaruh latihan otak (brain gym) yang meningkatkan memori lansia di Posyandu Lansia GBI Setia Bakti Kediri. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pre experimental, one group pra-post test design. Jumlah subyek sebanyak 49 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Variabel penelitian yaitu memori lansia, diukur dengan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah 3 minggu diberikan intervensi. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik wilcoxon signed rank test ( < 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan memori pada lanjut usia dari rata-rata lansia mengalami gangguan mengingat ringan (63,3%) dan sedang (30,6%) meningkat menjadi gangguanmengingat ringan (61,2%) dan kemampuan mengingat baik (32,7%), hal tersebut didukung dengan hasil uji statistik p = 0,000 yang menunjukkan ada perbedaan gangguan mengingat sebelum dan sesudah latihan otak (brain gym). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan otak (brain gym) berpengaruh meningkatkan memori lanjut usia.
