Abstract

One of the woven crafts produced in West Sumatra is Tenun Padi Serumpun. Tenun Padi Serumpun, is a traditional (handmade) craft group that produces various types of songket woven materials. In producing songket weaving, special skills are needed regarding the manufacture of woven cloth, and great care is needed in order to produce quality woven cloth. The choice of thread type also greatly influences the results of songket weaving and the appearance of unique and attractive motifs is a characteristic of Tenun Padi Serumpun. is in Solok district. This research aims to describe the existence of Tenun Padi Serumpun and to describe the development of Tenun Padi Serumpun by the Solok government. This research includes qualitative research. The research location is in Nagari Sungai Jambur. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques for this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results obtained from the existence of Tenun Padi Serumpun are that the existence of Tenun Padi Serumpun is known or acknowledged by the residents of Sungai Jambur. Characterized by this weaving, it still participates in various events and is under the guidance of DEKRANASDA, Solok Regency. The Solok government is developing Tenun Padi Serumpun by holding training, bringing in resource persons and guiding Tenun Padi Serumpun.Keywords: existence, development, tenun padi serumpun. AbstrakSalah satu kerajinan tenun yang dihasilkan di Sumatera Barat adalah Tenun Padi Serumpun. Tenun Padi Serumpun, merupakan kelompok kerajinan tradisional (handmade) yang memproduksi berbagai jenis bahan tenun songket. Dalam memproduksi tenun songket sangat diperlukan keahlian yang khusus tentang pembuatan kain tenun, dan butuh kehati-hatian yang tinggi agar bisa menghasilkan kain tenun berkualitas Pemilihan jenis benang juga sangat mempengaruhi hasil tenun songket serta tampilan motif yang unik dan menarik merupakan ciri khas Tenun Padi Serumpun yang ada di kabupaten solok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksistensi Tenun Padi Serumpun dan untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan Tenun Padi Serumpun oleh pemerintah Solok. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Nagari Sungai Jambur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari eksistensi Tenun Padi Serumpun adalah eksistensi Tenun Padi Serumpun ini diketahui atau diakui oleh warga Sungai Jambur. Ditandai dengan tenun ini masih mengikuti berbagai event-event dan di bawah binaan DEKRANASDA Kabupaten Solok. Abstract

Due to a dearth of video tutorials, only a small percentage of students are proficient in digital design creation, especially for creating digital designs using digital applications. Students find it difficult to operate the Photoshop application and are unfamiliar with the functions of its tools. This study aimed to evaluate the reliability of video lesson materials for fashion illustration design using the Photoshop application for the 2022 fashion students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The Research and Development (R&D) approach, using the 4D model, was the methodology used in this research. Primary data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. A scoring sheet with an explanation of the Likert scale was used as the study instrument. Data analysis was the method utilized in this research the media validity test findings yielded a 94.56% score, and the material expert validity obtained a score of 89.08%, resulting in a total score of 91.82%, which falls into the 'very valid' category. Meanwhile, a score of  92.22% was earned in the practicality administered by the course lecture. The small group practicality trial had a score of 96.4%, and the large group trial scored 85.45%, both indicating a 'very practical' category. In conclusion, the video tutorial media can be used as a learning media in the Fashion Illustration lecture process.
