Abstract

Mitra pengabdian mengalami kurangnya implementasi teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran, dan masih didominasi penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan pengintegrasian platform Youtube dalam konteks pembelajaran dengan fokus pada model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning. Pengintegrasian bertujuan meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam proses pengajaran di SMPN 9 Payakumbuh. Model pembelajaran ini dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang sesuai untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa di era digital. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa, dan penggunaan platform Youtube membuka peluang ekspresi dan memperluas wawasan siswa. Dengan solusi ini, guru dapat beradaptasi dengan tren pembelajaran yang berkembang dan tidak terbatas pada model konvensional. Hasil dari Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menunjukkan pencapaian tujuan yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMPN 9 Payakumbuh. Peserta pelatihan mampu mengikuti materi dengan baik, serta mampu menghasilkan konten video pembelajaran dengan kualitas yang baik. Ini mengindikasikan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru yang berkontribusi positif dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Melengkan, a form of traditional oral expression performed during wedding ceremonies in the Gayo community of Aceh, Indonesia, is rich in metaphorical language. This study analyses the metaphors found in Melengkan from an Ecolinguistics perspective. Using a qualitative approach, the research examines how these metaphors reflect cultural values and ecological awareness. This research identifies and analyzes three dominant metaphorical domains found in Gayo marriage melengkan: Nature-Based Metaphors, Social Relationship Metaphors, and Moral-Ethical Metaphors. Nature-based metaphors illustrate ecological awareness, portraying elements like trees, rivers, clouds, and wind as symbols of harmony, resilience, and balance in marital life. Social metaphors highlight the communal aspect of marriage, reinforcing values such as kinship, consensus, and collective responsibility. Moral and ethical metaphors emphasize adat (customary law), integrity, and spiritual obligations within the institution of marriage. The findings reveal that melengkan is not only a medium of cultural expression but also a reflection of the Gayo people's eco-centric worldview, where language serves to sustain both environmental and social harmony. This study contributes to the broader understanding of how traditional oral literature embodies ecological values and reinforces sustainable cultural practices through metaphorical language.The findings reveal that Melengkan embodies expressions that symbolize social harmony and the interconnection between humans and nature. This suggests that local oral traditions play a crucial role in preserving both cultural identity and ecological knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan terhadap brand fashion muslim Jamila Humaila yang memproduksi berbagai produk seperti scarf, top/blouse, tunic, dress, one set, dan aksesori pelengkap. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan proses produksi, keunggulan, serta strategi pemasaran Sikambang Manih Series. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data primer dan sekunder. Informan terdiri dari manajer operasional, manajer produksi, dan desainer. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis dengan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi kepada pemilik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sikambang Manih terinspirasi dari ukiran rumah gadang budaya Minangkabau, dibuat dengan Adobe Photoshop dan Procreate, kemudian dicetak pada kain polos melalui proses printing dan dijahit menjadi ready to wear. Strategi pemasaran difokuskan pada kebutuhan dan preferensi konsumen perempuan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the persuasive language used by fashion design students Universitas Negeri Padang for fashion products advertisement in e-commerce fashion courses. Fashion students promote their products on e-commerce websites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Shopee and other e-commerce applications or websites. Researchers want to know the persuasive language used in the ad because there is no previous research. To be a reference for local entrepreneurs in using persuasive language in advertisements for fashion businesses. And become a reference for learning material for fashion students in fashion e-commerce courses. This research uses qualitative methods. This method was chosen by the researcher because this research uses text as data and includes several processes in data analysis. This information was obtained from several fashion business e-commerce websites used by Universitas Negeri Padang fashion design students to promote their products in fashion e-commerce course. The researchers used posting and descriptions, which are statements and phrases, to assess the research data. The researcher's initial step in analyzing the data is to classify it according to the theory of persuasive language. The next step was to interpret the message contained in the ad. And the last step was to conclude the research. The sample group included 100 descriptions and slogans from students' e-commerce addresses. Alliteration was found to be the most often employed literary device, followed by imagery and assonance. The persuasive  was mostly used in advertising captions to describe product attributes, illustrate the items, actions or feelings, and emphasize.

Abstract

Men and women typically communicate closely with one another. As a result, dating relationship notions are common in society, particularly among young adults. Both men and women will always have communication goals while they are in a relationship. They communicate with each other via social media in addition to in-person interactions. WhatsApp is one of the most used social media platforms in today's world. The purpose of this study was to determine whether men or women frequently utilize indirect speech when texting their partners on WhatsApp. Three couples that communicate via WhatsApp are the subjects of this study. They are between the ages of 20 and 25. Within two weeks, the data was gathered by recording their message history. According to Clark (1977), the data was analyzed by classifying it into direct and indirect speech acts. It was discovered that women are more likely than men to use indirect speech acts. Ten indirect speech acts were performed by the females of three couples, whereas only three were delivered by the man, according to three conversation histories.

Abstract

Keberadaan ikan sisik yang melimpah di Kota Padang merupakan hasil dari kombinasi faktor geografis, lingkungan, dan sosial ekonomi. Kondisi oseanografi yang menguntungkan, keberadaan ekosistem pesisir yang produktif, pengaruh musim dan pola curah hujan, peran sungai-sungai besar, aktivitas perikanan yang intensif, budidaya ikan yang berkembang, dan konsumsi ikan yang tinggi semuanya berkontribusi terhadap keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan ikan sisik di perairan kota Padang. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengoptimalkan hasil laut nelayan, dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat kelurahan Balai Gadang dalam memproduksi, serta memasarkan produk bergizi Frozen Bakso Ikan Sisik. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini yaitu menggunakan metode Ceramah, Demonstrasi, Pelatihan serta bimbingan pelaksanaan pembuatan Bakso Ikan Sisik Frozen Food. Teori yang diberikan menyangkut kepada materi keterampilan yang akan diberikan, meliputi pengetahuan bahan makanan, jenis-jenis ikan, wirausaha kuliner, gizi dan sanitasi pengolahan makanan, serta peralatan dan pengolahan makanan, serta desain kemasan sticker untuk produk frozen food.
