Abstract

Di era digital saat ini banyak sekali alternatif untuk media belajar, salah satunya adalah animasi 3D. Perkembangan zaman sangat memudahkan orang tua, guru, dan tenaga didik lain untuk mengajarkan ajaran agama Islam kepada anak-anak. Animasi 3D menjadi salah satu alternatif yang paling banyak digunakan, selain mudah menarik perhatian anak, animasi 3D juga mudah dimengerti untuk anak-anak. Animasi 3D ini dapat berupa karakter animasi yang banyak digemari oleh anak-anak. Pembuatan karakter animasi “Antri Itu Islam” bisa menggunakan software “Blender”. Software ini sangat membantu dalam pembuatan animasi, pewarnaan animasi, pembuatan latar, serta pemberian struktur dan kontrol pada karakter 3D. Pembuatan animasi ini dapat membantu para tenaga pendidik maupun orang tua mengajarkan kepada anak-anak terkait nilai antri menurut ajaran Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis animasi 3D bertema "Belajar Puasa" menggunakan metode pose-to-pose. Dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam, terdapat kesulitan dalam menyampaikan konsep adab dan praktik puasa kepada anak-anak dengan cara yang menarik dan mudah dipahami. Metode pose-to-pose dipilih karena memungkinkan pembuatan animasi dengan gerakan yang lebih dinamis dan realistis. Pengembangan animasi ini dilakukan menggunakan tahapan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa animasi yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak terhadap adab puasa dengan visual yang menarik dan interaktif. Pengujian alpha mengidentifikasi dan memperbaiki kekurangan dalam rigging karakter, sehingga gerakan animasi menjadi lebih halus. Evaluasi akhir dilakukan sebelum distribusi melalui platform online, memastikan animasi siap dikonsumsi oleh publik. Penelitian ini mengisi gap dalam pengembangan media edukatif berbasis animasi 3D yang fokus pada edukasi tentang puasa.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan hambatan tumbuh kembang anak yang saat ini menjadi fokus pemerintah Indonesia. Hal ini dikareunakan stunting dapat mengancam kualitas perkembangan individu. Salah satu daerah yang menjadi pusat perhatian mengenai kejadian stunting di Kabupaten Malang, adalah di Desa Madiredo Kecamatan Pujon. Oleh karenanya perlu untuk melakukan pencegahan terjadinya prevalensi stunting dengan cara memberikan psikoedukasi kepada orangtua mengenai pentingnya pemberian gizi seimbang untuk anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi berbasis kelompok dengan menggunakan bantuan teknologi terhadap tingkat pemahaman gizi seimbang pada orangtua dengan anak terindikasi stunting. Manfaat dari Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menurunkan prevalensi tingkat stunting yang ada di Desa Madiredo Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang. Metode Penganbdian menggunakan Participatory Action Research dengan jumlah 38 partisipan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah alat ukur pemahaman gizi seimbang dengan reliabilitas 0.78. Sebelum diberikan perlakukan, partisipan diukur tingkat pemahamannya melalui pre-test. Kemudian partisipan diberikan perlakuan berupa psikoedukasi mengenai pentingnya pemahaman gizi seimbang pada anak secara berkelompok dengan beberapa metode yakni seminar, diskusi kelompok, pamphlet, dan vidio. Setelah perlakuan, partisipan diukur kembali tingkat pemahamannya. Hasil pengabdian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi kelompok dengan menggunakan bantuan teknologi mampu meningkatkan pemahaman gizi seimbang pada orangtua. Rata-rata pemahaman partisipan sebelum diberikan psikoedukasi adalah sebesar 5.868 dan setelah diberikan psikoedukasi rata-rata pemahaman meningkat sebesar 7.026. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka Kader Kesehatan setempat, diharapkan dapat memberikan penyuluhan mengenai gizi seimbang dengan bantuan tehnologi untuk dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang dalam mencegah anak tumbuh dengan stunting. Group-based Psychoeducation with the Help of Technology to Increase Understanding of Balanced Nutrition Among Parents as an Effort to Reduce Stunting Rates Stunting is a problem that hinders children's growth and development which is currently the focus of the Indonesian government. This is because stunting can threaten the quality of individual development. One of the areas that has become the center of attention regarding stunting incidents in Malang Regency is Madiredo Village, Pujon District. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the prevalence of stunting by providing psychoeducation to parents regarding the importance of providing balanced nutrition for children. This community service aims to determine the effect of group-based psychoeducation using technological assistance on the level of understanding of balanced nutrition in parents whose children are diagnosed with stunting. The benefits of this community service are expected to reduce the prevalence of stunting levels in Madiredo Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. The method of this community service used participatory action research with 38 participants. The measuring instrument used is a measuring instrument for understanding balanced nutrition with a reliability of 0.78. Before being given treatment, participants' level of understanding was measured through a pre-test. Then participants were given treatment in the form of psychoeducation regarding the importance of understanding balanced nutrition in children in groups using several methods, namely seminars, group discussions, pamphlets and videos. After treatment, participants' level of understanding was again measured. The  results of community service were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The results of this community service show that group psychoeducation using technological assistance is able to increase parents' understanding of balanced nutrition. The average understanding of participants before being given psychoeducation was 5,868 and after being given psychoeducation the average understanding increased by 7,026. Based on these results then It is hoped that local health cadres can provide education about balanced nutrition with the help of technology to increase understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition in preventing children from growing up with stunting.

Abstract

The number of unmet needs for contraception has not reached the target set by the Indonesian government, while the uneven distribution of health workers, the main source of information for contraception, is still an unresolved problem. The Internet serves as an alternative source of information for contraception selection. However, without personalization, it may lead to inappropriate choices. This study discussed the development of an information system for selecting contraceptives, incorporating a decision support system (DSS), enabling personalized recommendations based on user preferences to assist in determining the appropriate contraceptive method. The functionality of the information system was evaluated using black-box testing, conducted by reproductive health experts, while its usability was assessed based on ISO-9241-11:2018 standards with 25 respondents. The functional evaluation of the system showed that 14 functions successfully passed the testing procedures, while 2 functions failed. The usability evaluation yielded excellent results, with an overall score of 4.52. Based on these findings, the developed information system can serve as a medium for reducing the number of unmet needs for contraception by providing users with contraceptive information tailored to their preferences. Further research needs to enhance system information by integrating user medical reports and user location and evaluating the recommendation-to-selection conversion rate— the extent to which users follow the system’s recommendations when choosing contraceptives.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the value of devotion to parents through educational animation media, focusing on the inspiring story of Uwais al-Qarni. Uwais al-Qarni is known in Islamic history as a figure who showed extraordinary dedication to his mother. In an effort to revive these values, we developed an animation that aims to educate and inspire the audience, especially the younger generation. The animation creation process includes in-depth literature research, scenario and storyboard development, character design, and animation production and editing. The result is an animated work that is not only entertaining but also conveys a strong moral message about the importance of devotion to parents. Initial trials showed that this animation was effective in increasing audience awareness and understanding of these values. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of character education through digital media and demonstrates the potential of animation as an effective and engaging educational tool.

Abstract

Sexual health issues remain unresolved globally and nationally. In Indonesia, unwanted pregnancies among women aged 15-19 years are twice as high (16%) as those aged 20-24 years (8%), and 19% of young people aged 15-24 who have had sexual relations report unwanted pregnancies. Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is one of the media in addressing this issue, fostering self-motivated learning that empowers adolescents to prevent unintended pregnancies and manage their sexual health. This study aimed to identify media and tools that effectively enhance adolescents' motivation for independent learning about reproductive health. A literature review was conducted using the Publish or Perish database for articles from 2018 to 2023, with keywords such as "self-motivated learning," "reproductive health," and "adolescents." Through the PRISMA method, we found 1,755 articles were screened, and four relevant studies were identified. The findings suggest that game-based learning platforms and M-Health websites offering direct counseling and practical reproductive health guidance are particularly effective in fostering self-motivated learning. In conclusion, both game-based learning and M-Health platforms are key tools in promoting autonomous learning among adolescents about reproductive health.

Abstract

Rice diseases significantly impact agricultural productivity, making classification models essential for accurately distinguishing rice leaf diseases. Various classification models have been proposed for image-based rice disease classification; however, further performance improvement is still required. This study proposes the use of a convolutional neural network (CNN) to classify rice diseases based on leaf images. The dataset used in this study included leaf images categorized into four conditions: leaf blight, blast, tungro, and healthy. In the initial stage, data preprocessing was conducted, including resizing, augmentation, and normalization. Following preprocessing, a custom CNN architecture was developed, consisting of four convolutional layers, four pooling layers, and three fully connected layers. Each convolutional layer employed a 3 × 3 kernel with a stride of 1 and ReLU activation, while the pooling layers used max pooling with a 3 × 3 kernel and a stride of 2. Using a batch size of 32 and the Adam optimizer, the best test performance was achieved with 100 training epochs and a learning rate of 0.0002, resulting in a training accuracy of 0.9930, a loss of 0.0221, and a test accuracy of 0.9647. Model evaluation demonstrated a balanced performance across precision, recall, and F1 score, each achieving 0.9647, indicating highly effective classification without bias toward any specific class. These findings suggest that the simplified CNN model can deliver competitive classification performance without the need for complex architectures or additional enhancement techniques. The proposed CNN model outperformed existing CNN architectures, such as Inception-ResNet-V2, VGG-16, VGG-19, and Xception.

Abstract

Animation, as a rapidly evolving art form, requires effective techniques to produce realistic and engaging movements. The pose-to-pose method, which focuses on creating key poses, is utilized in the design of the animation "Ali & Umar." This article explores the application of this method using Blender to enhance animation quality. Through this method, animators can better control each movement and add additional poses to increase dynamism. The pose-to-pose technique involves planning the animation by setting key poses at various stages of movement, allowing animators to achieve smooth and realistic motion and easily correct errors. The production process of this animation is divided into three main stages: preparation, creation, and refinement. In the preparation stage, the story and characters are designed with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate initial visualization. The creation stage includes 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating the characters and other visual elements, with the pose-to-pose method ensuring accurate character movements. Finally, the refinement stage involves editing and optimizing video quality and adding sound. The results of this study indicate that the pose-to-pose method is effective in producing educational 3D animations, aiming to convey an Islamic message about the dangers of shirk through an engaging medium. These findings open opportunities for the development of more innovative Islamic educational media in the future.

Abstract

The Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon is characterized by higher temperatures in urban areas compared to surrounding rural areas. This condition poses various environmental risks and adversely impacts public health, particularly in Malang, Indonesia. This study aims to predict land surface temperature (LST) in Malang to better understand and mitigate the effects of UHI's. Support Vector Regression (SVR) is employed using remote sensing data from Landsat-8, Sentinel-2, and SRTM. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Normalized Difference Built-up Index (NDBI), Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI), Normalized Difference Moisture Index (NDMI), elevation, and LST are calculated and normalized to ensure accurate data representation. Model testing results indicate that the Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel performs best with hyperparameter settings of C = 10, Epsilon = 0.1, and gamma = 1. This model achieves an R² of 0.887, an MSE of 1.625, and a MAPE of 2.71%. These findings confirm that SVR with an appropriately tuned RBF kernel can improve prediction accuracy. Consequently, the study provides a robust foundation for developing more effective predictive models to address UHI management in urban areas.
