Abstract

AbstractNutritional status is one of the most important functions in the bodys defense against infection. Malnutrition in the circumstances, the immune response will be weakened so that the ability to defend it self against infection is lowered. This studed aims described the nutritional status of patients with pulmonary TB in Prigen Pasuruan. The method used is descriptive. The population was all patients with active pulmonary TB were 26 people that taken using the total sampling. This studed uses BMI calculation with the observed weight and height to determine the nutritional status of the patient. The results showed that the majority of patients with pulmonary TB have less nutritional status of as many as 17 people (65.4%). A person affected by pulmonary tuberculosis immune reaction will conduct an inflammatory reaction that disrupted the bodys metabolism which will result in weight is lowered, it is characterized by malaise because of the pain. In a state of malnutrition, weakened immune reaction so that the ability to maintain the infection is lowered, the presence of infectious disease can provide absorption barriers and obstacles intake of nutrients which the onset of malnutrition.Keywords:nutritional status, pulmonary TB patients

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada masa menopause salah satu gangguan yang sering terjadi adalah insomnia. Kurang tidur dapat menyebabkan tubuh tidak dapat meregenerasikan sel-sel otak yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan fungsi kognitif (sulit berkonsentasi). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara insomnia pada menopause dengan perubahan fungsi kognitif (konsentrasi) di Dusun Legok Desa Suko RW 04 Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Desain penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya seluruh wanita yang telah menopause sebanyak 58 orang . Sampel penelitian sebanyak 48 orang yang diambil dengan purposive sampling. Variabel indenpenden insomnia pada menopause. Variabel dependen perubahan fungsi kognitif (konsentrasi). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Insomnia Rating Scale KSBPJ dan Army Alpha Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (0,036) < (0,05), sehingga H0ditolak artinya terdapat hubungan antara insomnia pada menopause dengan perubahan fungsi kognitif, dengan nilai r = 0,303. Semakin rendah tingkat insomnia responden memiliki konsentrasi cukup dan semakin tinggi tingkat insomnia responden memiliki konsentrasi kurang. Pada masa menopause terdapat perubahan hormon estrogen yang mempengaruhi kualitas dan kuantitas tidur, berkurangnya waktu tidur dapat menurunkan konsentrasi responden.Kata kunci :insomnia, menopause, perubahan fungsi kognitif (konsentrasi)

Abstract

AbstrakDokumentasi keperawatan merupakan bentuk dokumen asuhan keperawatan sebagai salah satu alat pembuktian atas tindakan perawat selama menjalankan tugas pelayanan keperawatan. Dokumen asuhan keperawatan sangat diperlukan untuk kepentingan pasien maupun perawat, akan tetapi pada kenyataannya masih banyak dokumen asuhan keperawatan yang isinya belum sesuai baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitas. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah pelaksana yang bertugas di rawat inap RSUD Sidoarjo berjumlah 107 dan dokumentasi keperawatan yang ada di status pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara sikap (p value 0,044) dan tingkat pendidikan perawat (p value 0,029) dengan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan, sedangkan usia, jenis kelamin dan masa kerja tidak terdapat hubungan. Direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan monitoring dan evaluasi melalui kegiatan supervisi. pemberian reward pada ruangan yang dokumentasi asuhan keperawatannya baik, perlu dibuat perencanaan pengembangan SDM, dan penambahan materi tentang dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan pada orientasi perawat baru.Kata kunci : dokumentasi keperawatan

Abstract

AbstractThe development of information technology has penetrated the world of health and can be applied to services provided in the hospital one of which is the administration of drugs. Over recent years, the incidence of medication errors are common and cause of 7000 deaths in the U.S. This barcode is a system that has been proven to reduce errors in drug administration by 50%. Effectively using the system is able to identify errors during the medication administration process. Barcode system is also the best technology solutions to improve pharmacy and nursing communication, keeping nursing satisfaction by minimizing the additional workload, identifying persistent in order to facilitate a proactive approach to prevent medication errors. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) including the electronic medication administration record (Emar), is an important component as it is the good process is also required CPOE (Computerized prescriber order entry).
