Abstract

Tanjung Umah's traditional fish market in the Riau Islands is no longer attractive to the public because the fish are not neatly arranged and the market conditions look less clean. The lack of interest in traditional fish markets has led to a decline in local community income in the Tanjung Umah village. Therefore, this social community empowerment activity program aims to revive (revitalize) the traditional fish market so that it is again in demand by the community and change the negative perceptions of the traditional fish market through the design of an apron that gives identity to the traditional fish market of the Tanjung Umah fishing village in Riau Islands while maintaining the sellers to avoid fish waste so that it looks clean and hygienic. Through the use of this apron, the traditional fish market of Tanjung Umah fishing village can look tidier, in uniform, and attractive so that it can return to life and be of interest to the community.

Abstract

Modernisasi yang terjadi sesuai dengan zaman yang terus berkembang menuntut masyarakat untuk selalu bisa menyesuaikan diri dan mengikuti setiap perkembangannya. Modernisaasi terjadi sangat cepat dan cenderung tidak disadari secara langsung oleh masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah kemajuan dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Keberadaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara tidak disadari telah menjadi sangat penting dan tidak bisa dilepaskan dari aktivitas masyarakat sehari-harinya. Hal ini menuntut manusia untuk selalu mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, salah satunya dalam sektor bisnis dan ekonomi. Modernisasi yang terjadi sangat berdampak besar bagi industri rumahan yang dijalankan secara konvensional. Hal ini menyebabkan industri rumahan sulit berkembang akibat modernisasi bisnis dalam masyarakat. Inilah yang menjadi perhatian kami dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dengan menargetkan salah satu pabrik industri rumahan pengolahan mie kuning yaitu Mie QQ untuk memberikan edukasi dan membantu mereka mengenalkan merek dan produk kepada masyarakat luas, serta meningkatkan daya saing secara lebih luas melalui peran produk multimedia serta membangkitkan kecintaan masyarakat sebagai konsumen terhadap produk asli dalam negeri

Abstract

Literasi memiliki peran yang penting bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia, seperti memecahkan masalah, menganalisis, memahami informasi, dan lain-lainnya. Namun, dikarenakan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya literasi menjadi salah satu penyebab Negara Indonesia menjadi kurang mampu dalam bersaing dengan negara lain. Melihat hal tersebut, penulis pun tertarik untuk menjadikan pembicaraan ini sebagai topik utama dalam melaksanakan proyek ini. Dalam pelaksanaan proyek, kami pun menggunakan metode partisipatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi pada mitra. Ada pun beberapa luaran yang dirancang untuk kepentingan proyek ini yaitu salah satunya melakukan promosi secara digital melalui media sosial untuk menyebarluaskan pentingnya literasi untuk kelangsungan hidup manusia. Selain melakukan promosi secara digital, penulis juga menyelenggarakan sosialisasi serta memberikan bantuan secara material pada mitra, yaitu Panti Asuhan Qurrotu A’yun. Data-data yang didapatkan dalam penyusunan artikel ini menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu tinjauan pustaka, observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara. Untuk kegiatan PKM yang selanjutnya, kami merekomendasikan untuk melakukan kegiatan yang bertema mengenai peran teknologi bagi kehidupan manusia

Abstract

Air sangat penting bagi kehidupan semua organisme termasuk manusia, tumbuhan, atau hewan. Kualitas air yang baik sangat penting, pencemaran air dapat menimbulkan risiko yang berbahaya. Saat ini untuk mendeteksi kualitas air perlu dilakukan uji laboratorium. Pengujian ini membutuhkan analisis yang kompleks sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama untuk mendeteksi kualitas air. Oleh karena itu, peneliti akan melakukan penelitian tentang prediksi kualitas air dengan melihat beberapa parameter yang mengandung informasi air tersebut. Dataset kualitas air berasal dari Kaggle. Metode data mining yang digunakan adalah algoritma Random Forest dan algoritma Naïve Bayes. Kedua algoritma ini merupakan algoritma klasifikasi yang dapat membantu kita untuk memprediksi kualitas air. Dengan menggunakan kedua algoritma tersebut didapatkan akurasi 79% untuk algoritma Random Forest dan akurasi 55% untuk algoritma Naïve Bayes. Setelah itu kami mengimplementasikan kedua algoritma tersebut ke website sederhana dengan framework flask. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mencoba menggunakan algoritma lain seperti ANN, K-NN, atau Decision Tree.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat mempengaruhi berbagai sector bisnis. Salah satu sekto bisnis yang terpengaruh adalah bisnis layanan hotel. Perkembangan ini menyebabkan semakin banyaknya hotel yang menggunakan aplikasi untuk memfasilitasi segala jenis transaksi pada hotel. SMK Harmoni sebagai salah sekolah kejuruan di Kota Batam, memiliki jurusan Akomodasi Perhotelan. Namun sangat disayangkan pendidikan jurusan akomodasi perhotelan di SMK Harmoni masih menggunakan metode konfensional, dimana segala transaksi masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan akomodasi perhotelan di SMK Harmoni Batam, penulis akan melakukan pembuatan aplikasi hotel untuk SMK Harmoni Batam. Proses pembuatan aplikasi akan dilakukan menggunakan framework ADDIE. Aplikasi yang telah dibuat diharapkan dapat digunakan dalam proses ajar-mengajar di SMK Harmoni Batam.C

Abstract

Currently, the selection if thesis supervisors in Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Internasional Ba-tam is done based on direct consideration of the supervisor candidate’s competence, functional, and education. However, this thesis supervisor selection process is not very effective if the student doesn’t know a suitable supervisor for the topic of the thesis they have chosen. Therefore, a decision support system is required to determine the thesis supervisor so that the thesis submitted by student is match with the competence of the thesis supervisor candidate. The primary goal of this research is to create a decision support system application that can assist in determining the thesis supervisor. The Research and Development (R&D) technique was employed in this study, with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) decision making approach and the ADDIE model for the development process. Lecturer data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the result of SAW calculations, it was found that alternative 7 (A7) and alternative 4 (A4) were the best alternative. From the result of testing on application, the application was able to provide recommendations for thesis supervisors to users based on the calculation using SAW Method. Future research may try to use or combine other decision-making methods, such as AHP or Apriori.

Abstract

MyBeautyShop adalah usaha yang bergerak di bidang jasa yaitu usaha yang menyediakan berbagai macam produk kecantikan baik produk lokal maupun produk luar negeri. MyBeautyShop sendiri berlokasi di Kota Batam. Saat ini, kendala yang dihadapi MyBeautyShop adalah belum adanya sistem yang mengelola, mengatur dan mengarahkan proses bisnis pemilik usaha. Sehingga penulis disini ingin membantu pemilik menganalisis sistem ERP manakah yang cocok dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemilik usaha dengan mengunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Sistem ERP memiliki tujuan untuk mengelola kegiatan bisnis harian pemilik usaha, seperti pengelolaan keuangan, pencatatan, penyimpanan dan lain sebagainya yang mempermudah seluruh operasional pemilik usaha menjadi lebih efektif dan juga efisien. Pada laporan ini, penulis merekomendasi pemilik usaha MyBeautyShop untuk menggunakan sistem Point Of Sales (POS), dengan rekomendasikan fasilitas dari Accurate Accounting Software.

Abstract

During the pandemic, education institutions have applied online learning methods as emergency learning solutions during duress situations. Online learning affects the engagement,satisfaction, and perception of students. Because of that, to understand better how Perceived ease of use, Perceived usefulness, Satisfaction, and Acceptance intention affects students that participate in online learning during the pandemic, we conducted this research using an online survey (N = 390) among online learning students. We found that students are satisfied with online learning whenever the service is easy and more useful when used. We also identified every positive experience from online learning, therefore, encouraging enhancement. We also identified that every positive experience gained in online learning can increase the intention to use it again. This study will help students identify things that can increase student satisfaction and acceptance intentions during the post-Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Photo books are a type of book that is used to share photographic products with a lot of documentation value. Photo books can be used to convey or communicate information about the themes discussed. Non-Islamic civilizations are featured in a photo book called Malay Earth. Riau is notable for being the largest Malay country in the state of Riau. To aid the research process, the author employs the Research & Development technique. Photo albums can serve as an everlasting reminder of a photographer's work. The photo book's development has received excellent feedback, as it depicts every race and ethnic culture practiced by numerous non-Islamic cultural groups in malay enviroment.

Abstract

In today’s society, along with the development of technology and knowledge, there are many ways that can be used to promote a business. One way to promote a business that is currently on the trend is promotional media content through the Instagram application, which is also known as Instagram ads. Instagram ads are posts or Stories that a business buys to promote to users’ Instagram feeds. They can seem just like regular Instagram posts but are always marked by a “Sponsored” badge. With a potential audience of more than 928 million people, Instagram ads are a key tool for any social media marketer to market their business. The purpose of this research paper is to design promotional media content on Instagram at the MSME restaurant "Lo Ka Ciong Cia Tang". The focus of the research is on the Promotional and Advertising sector for MSME business in the regional area. The data source used in this study is the primary data source, which means the data is obtained directly from the researcher through various methods, mainly interviews and observations.Results of the study discuss the promotional video content’s impact on the MSME business. This study finds that promotional media content on Instagram does bring a realizable impact to the business. This can be seen from the increase in sales in the few months since the promotional video was held, and the gradual increase in ordering through the WhatsApp application. It is important to remember that the results of this study cannot be separated from the influence of the control factors used
