Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah subjek 20 siswa. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu mengumpulkan data, mengolah data, dan mendeskripsikan hasil kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi covid-19 menunjukkan kemampuan kategori kurang. Diperlukan upaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa diantaranya adalah adanya kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua dalam mengawasi serta memfasilitasi pembelajaran agar proses pembelajaran berjalan lebih efektif.

Abstract

Learning can run well and achieve the desired goals if students feel comfortable and not pressured and have high self-efficacy. Learning activities in Indonesia at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic had to be carried out through online or online distance learning, which had an influence on students' self-efficacy. During the research, MI Ar Rahmah, Bengle Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency, did not fully offline or face-to-face learning at school, so learning used offline and online methods. The learning model that can be applied in situations like this is the flipped classroom model. In learning using the flipped classroom learning model, it is expected that there will be an influence on students' self-efficacy. This study was conducted to prove whether or not there are differences in the self-efficacy of students who use the flipped classroom model and those who do not use the flipped classroom model in limited face-to-face learning at MI Ar Rahmah, Bengle Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model discovery learning terkadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar pada pembelajaran tatap muka dilaksanakan di MI Al-Mujahidin Pasirkamuning Desa Pasirkamuning Kecamatan Telagasari Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Jenis penelitian eskperimen dan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pretest dan posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu melibatkan seluruh siswa MI Al-Mujahidin Pasirkamuning dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes, tes merupakan sebuah alat untuk mengukur kemampuan serta pemahaman seseorang terhadap keilmuan. Tes sudah Uji kelayakan melalui Uji Validitas dan Uji Reliabilitas. Dihasilkan 9 butir soal yang valid yang sudah diujicobakan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif, Statistik Inferensial dan Uji Hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji Independent samples test pada software SPSS Versi 22 for windows diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung sebesar 7,873 > 2,024 (t tabel), maka sebagaimana dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji Independent Samples Test dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA pada Kelas yang menggunakan model discovery learning dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode ceramah.

Abstract

Learning that raises local culture to be a subject of science learning can improve students' mastery of science literacy, character, motivation and interest. This study aims to analyze the needs of ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials in elementary schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, namely by analyzing needs. This research was conducted in class IV of SDN located in East Karawang District, Karawang Regency. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials at the school have never been developed; 2) There is a great need for ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials on plant material sources of life on earth; 3) Ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials really need to be developed in learning grade IV science on plant material sources of life on earth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Kupin media on increasing student learning motivation in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects at the elementary school level, especially grade IV. The method used is quasi-experiment with RND approach, the respondents used are 25 students. Data were collected through observation of motivation and distribution of questionnaires questionnaire learning motivation before and after the use of Kupin media. The findings showed that the average score of students' motivation increased from 60.4 before using Kupin media to 78.2 after using it. This study shows that Kupin media is effective in increasing students' motivation in IPAS lessons. Therefore, it is recommended that Kupin media can be used gradually in the learning process to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews at SD Al-Hikmah Indonesia that the learning carried out is still limited due to time so that only the target of material completion is pursued, while the achievement of learning outcomes and students' understanding of concepts is still lacking. Learning is only student-centered. For this reason, there is a need for appropriate and effective methods in learning. Therefore, researchers tried to use a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach to overcome this problem. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design, data collection techniques using test and non-test data. Test data was obtained from pre-test and post-test results, while non-test data was obtained from questionnaires. This research took as subjects students of class IV A and students of class IV B. In this research three meetings were held which included pre-test, learning and post-test. After applying this approach, the average gain for the experimental class was 0.49 and the control class was 0.25. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' post-test results in learning using the jigsaw type cooperative learning approach. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of this approach on science learning on the subject of natural resources. The results of this research are recommended as a reference for further research, especially research that uses a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach in learning natural resources in order to improve students' understanding of concepts better in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine clean and healthy living behavior in improving the ecological intelligence of Sukamerta 2 public elementary school students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that teachers have an important role in creating clean and healthy living behavior at school. Teachers are one of the figures modeled by students, so the driving factor in increasing students' ecological intelligence is the teacher. Based on the questionnaire results, it can be concluded that Sukamerta 2 State Elementary School students who practice clean and healthy living behavior are 45 students (64.29%), while those who do not practice clean and healthy living behavior are 25 students (35.71%). So it can be concluded that it is necessary to implement clean and healthy living behavior for all students and is in the good category so that the value of ecological intelligence of students on clean and healthy living behavior is normal or good and in order to create a better school environment in maintaining cleanliness and comfort in learning and teaching activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of word square learning model on IPAS learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students of Lemahduhur II State Elementary School. This research is a type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest-posttest model. The population used in this study were all students at SD Negeri Lemahduhur II as many as 194 students. The sample taken consisted of 25 students. The technique of collecting research data with Purposive Sampling. Technical data analysis to test the hypothesis was carried out by calculating descriptive and inferential statistics. The data was obtained from the pretest posttest results.  The results of hypothesis testing, there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest. This is obtained by the sig value. (2-tailed) for the test is 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected. So with this hypothesis test shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the word square learning models on the learning outcomes of IPAS elementary school students.
