Shepherds who must prepare the congregation to live in favor of God. The purpose of this study is to explain the duties and roles of shepherds in faith-building or the so-called discipleship. Discipleship is a command of God called the great commission in Matthew 28:19 it says "Make all nations my disciples." in discipleship lessons is to "know God and become disciples of Christ. The method used in the research is a qualitative description (case study) of the role of the shepherd in leading the congregation to be more effective. The shepherd's job in serving the congregation is to "nurture believers and unbelievers to grow up in the faith and become disciples of the Lord Jesus. Abstract

The idea of writing about this topic originated from observations on social media that several Christian apologists were entangled in the law due to alleged blasphemy cases and the spread of false information when defending the Christian faith. This study aims to find the rule of law's cause and effect in blasphemy, provide insight into the purpose of apologetics, and explain how apologetics does not violate legal or religious norms. The method used in thisresearch is a qualitative method that prioritizes literature studies, collects data through scientific journals, and shares news on social media. The findings suggest that apologetics is a way of defending the faith when it is attacked by others, and it is an obligation for Christians. Apologetics is gentle, non-arrogant, and biblical. The maximum criminal penalty for blasphemy cases is ten years, and there is no equal legal protection between religious minorities and majorities in the application of the "Conditio Sine Qua Non Principle", so to defend it is enough to reveal the truth of God's Word without attacking other people's religions.

Abstract

This research discusses freedom of thought as an important element in the development of Christian theology and how the church responds to modern social challenges. Freedom of thought, although it often faces obstacles from church authority and attachment to tradition, provides opportunities for a more inclusive and progressive theological dialogue. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which involves in-depth interviews with church leaders and document analysis. The results show that freedom of thought contributes to enriching Christian theology and strengthens its relevance in responding to social issues, such as gender equality and social justice. This study concludes that freedom of thought plays an important role in maintaining the relevance of Christian theology in the midst of changing times without ignoring the teachings of the core faith.
