Abstract

Cost in construction is located on a cost budget plan document or better known as the RAB. The RAB document provides an overview of the estimated amount of cost for each job by showing the work volume, work cost, materials and workers' needs in completing the project. With that in mind, it will be planned to develop an app for calculating cost and time estimates for each job. In this study used the kind of experimental research, by conducting experimental development of computer applications to carry out calculations of cost and time estimates. The development has produced four main menus, including information, AHSP, RAB, and files. Early development of the application was done using the waterfall method in its development. The final result of this research is an application that has been developed under the name RAB Desktop application can be used in performing cost calculations and estimates of working time with an efficient rate in a fairly significant work time of manual work time. As well as the level of calculation accuracy that yields a difference of -0,000000001% indicates that the application has a density well below the calibration limit.

Abstract

Scaffolding is one of the critical supporting elements in construction projects, scaffolding functions to withstand loads and allow the implementation of work at height. The tool is designed to provide temporary support for workers as well as materials, ensuring stability and safety during construction projects. Along with the development and progress in the construction industry, various new innovations of scaffolding types continue to emerge. Given the importance of this supporting element in supporting the running of construction projects, the selection of improper scaffolding can have a significant impact on the construction project that is being carried out. The purpose of this study is to review the efficiency of the use of scaffolding in construction work, by comparing ringlock scaffolding with frame scaffolding reviewed in terms of cost to determine which type is more efficient to use according to the needs of the project. This study uses a descriptive method and a comparative method, the descriptive method aims to describe and calculate the cost of ringlock and scaffolding frame scaffolding costs, while the comparative method is used to make a comparison between the two, so that the comparative cost of each type of scaffolding can be obtained. The results of the analysis obtained the results of the calculation of the cost of scaffolding ringlock and scaffolding frame needs from an area of 821.05 m2, the rental price of ringlock scaffolding is Rp. 109.311.600, while the rental cost of scaffolding frame is Rp. 89.223.600. Meanwhile, the cost of buying a ringlock scaffolding is Rp. 955,342,000, while the cost of buying a scaffolding frame is Rp. 808.229.000. The cost of installing and dismantling ringlock scaffolding is Rp. 4.034.625 and scaffolding frame is Rp. 8.040.125. The end result of the comparison of ringlock scaffolding and scaffolding frame for installation costs is cheaper than ringlock scaffolding but for rental and purchase costs are higher ringlock scaffolding compared to frame scaffolding rings.

Abstract

Tiara Regency Limbangan Housing is located in Limbangan village, Sukaraja District, Sukabumi Regency. This housing is one of the areas that is growing rapidly. As the number of residents and activities in the area increases, the need for an effective and efficient clean water distribution system is very important. However, the clean water distribution system at Tiara Regency Limbangan Housing is still uneven at several points. This research aims to simulate the clean water distribution system in the Epanet 2.0 application to find out the problems and solutions so that they run optimally. This study uses population data to determine the amount of discharge needed. Water discharge data from the reservoir to determine water availability. Existing data and pipeline details are used to analyze Epanet 2.0 so that the pressure value, and energy loss in each connection and pipeline can be known. The availability of main pipeline water 1 is 444,096 liters/day and the availability of mains pipeline water 2 is 425,952 liters/day. The water demand in main pipeline 1 reaches 321,595 liters/day while the water demand in main pipeline 2 reaches 284,335 liters/day. The results of the existing analysis showed that there were 88 connections with negative pressure at peak usage hours. Optimization is carried out by changing the diameter of the main pipe 1 from 3 inches to 4 inches.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan implementasi kerjasama bidang pengabdian dengan mitra dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, dengan personal in charge adalah Ir. Tahajudin, SP., IPM program Studi Teknik Sipil. Kegiatan direncanakan berupa pendampingan penggunaan Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografi Operasional dan Pemeliharaan Irigasi (SIGOPI) di dinas UPTD Dinas PU Kabupaten Sukabumi. Aplikasi ini berguna dalam melihat kondisi kinerja Daerah Irigasi (DI) dari sisi kondisi bangunan dan sistem irigasi. Hasilnya berupa rekomendasi skema operasional yang tepat dan pemeliharaan bangunan yang tepat pula. Diharapkan dengan aplikasi ini, dapat memberi masukan dalam keputusan pemeliharaan bangunan yang tepat sasaran. Dengan demikian kinerja DI menjadi optimal dan dalam jangka menengah dapat meningkatkan produksi pangan terutama padi. Secara kebencanaan dapat mengurangi resiko bencana kekeringan dan meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di Kabupaten Sukabumi. Kegiatan ini sesuai dengan Peta jalan ketua pengabdian di tahun 2022 yaitu tindak kanjut dari evaluasi dalam peran mengurangi resiko bencana kekeringan, yaitu dengan optimalisasi Aplikasi SIGOPI. Peranan dari tenaga ahli dari UMY dapat memberi masukan dari sisi Sistem Informasi Geografis dan Irigasi yang diwakili oleh Ir. Puji Harsanto, ST., MT., Ph.D dan Ir. Jazaul Ikhsan, ST., MT., Ph.D., IPM.
