Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on the Islamic guidance approach in trauma recovery in adolescents after the earthquake in Kabiraan Village, Ulumanda District, Majene Regency. In general, this research was conducted because there were teenagers who were indicated to have experienced post-disaster trauma, namely an earthquake. This research is aimed at nothing but how to recover from trauma with an Islamic guidance approach. This research uses the phenomenological method, which is a qualitative methodology that allows researchers to apply and apply their subjectivity and interpersonal skills in the exploratory research process. Abstrak: Penelitian ini berfokus pada pendekatan bimbingan Islami dalam pemulihan trauma pada remaja pasca gempa bumi di Desa Kabiraan Kecamatan Ulumanda Kabupaten Majene. Secara umum, penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya remaja yang terindikasi mengalami trauma pasca musibah yaitu gempa bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan tak lain untuk bagaimana memulihkan trauma dengan pendekatan bimbingan Islami. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penomenologi yaitu sebuah metodologi kualitatif yang mengizinkan peneliti menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan kemampuan subjektivitas dan interpersonalnya dalam proses penelitian eksploratori.

Abstract

Career maturity is a crucial component in preparing vocational students for successful school-to-work transitions. However, the role of parenting styles and psychological factors such as future time perspective (FTP) in shaping career maturity remains insufficiently understood, particularly in vocational education contexts. This study aimed to examine the direct effects of maternal and paternal parenting styles on students’ career maturity and to investigate the mediating role of FTP.This study employed a quantitative ex post facto design involving 307 students from nine vocational high schools in Enrekang Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ), Career Maturity Inventory (CMI), and Future Time Perspective Scale (FTPS). Path analysis was conducted to assess direct and indirect relationships among variables.The results revealed that maternal parenting style (β = 0.45, p 0.01) and paternal parenting style (β = 0.61, p 0.01) significantly predicted career maturity. FTP also had a significant direct effect on career maturity (β = 0.44, p 0.01). Mediation analysis indicated that FTP significantly mediated the relationship between parenting styles and career maturity (maternal: β = 0.139, p 0.01; paternal: β = 0.136, p 0.01), suggesting both direct and indirect effects.These findings highlight the importance of supportive parenting and future-oriented thinking in enhancing students’ career readiness. Schools are encouraged to integrate career guidance programs that involve parents and strengthen students’ future time perspective to support effective career development.

Abstract

Modern dynamics have contributed to a significant decline in empathy among adolescents; however, the potential of local wisdom as a foundation for guidance and counseling interventions remains empirically under-explored, particularly in the context of Mandar culture. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group guidance based on Siwaliparri values, a Mandar cultural concept emphasizing togetherness and equality, in enhancing student empathy. Employing a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, the research involved eight students (N=8) from SMA Negeri 1 Majene, selected via simple random sampling based on low empathy score criteria. Data were collected using an Empathy Scale (30 items, a=0.80) and analyzed using a Paired Sample t-test. Results indicated a significant increase in students’ empathy, shifting from the “low” category (Mean=70.1, SD=6.4) to the “moderate” category (Mean=86.3, SD=5.2), with t = 10.645 and p <0.001. The effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.78) demonstrates a very large practical impact of the intervention. In conclusion, Siwaliparri-based interventions are highly effective in increasing empathy, offering a culturally responsive framework for school counselors in Mandar and similar cultural contexts to address the empathy crisis among adolescents while preserving Mandar’s local wisdom. Abstract

Perkembangan era digital menuntut mahasiswa tidak hanya memiliki kemampuan akademik, tetapi juga keterampilan komunikasi yang adaptif terhadap teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model blended learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Proses kajian dilakukan terhadap 15 artikel ilmiah terindeks pada rentang tahun 2019–2025 melalui tahapan identifikasi, screening, kelayakan, dan sintesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa blended learning secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa dalam tiga aspek utama, yaitu komunikasi lisan, tulisan, dan digital. Selain itu, model ini mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, kolaborasi, dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa. Namun demikian, efektivitas implementasi dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan teknologi, desain pembelajaran, dan kompetensi dosen.
