Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PPM) aims to provide insight and skills in efforts to increase MSME entrepreneurship in Gemblegan Village, Kalikotes District, Klaten Regency by providing development and improvement of production management and increasing knowledge of online marketing management for MSME players. The problem is resolved in four stages of activity, namely pre-activity, preparation, implementation and evaluation. Preparation was carried out by conducting a preliminary survey to see the real conditions in the field regarding the problems faced by MSMEs in Gemblegan Village, Kalikotes, Klaten. The implementation is carried out by training and mentoring using the lecture method, namely through face-to-face holding in Gemblegan Village by following the prevailing health protocol, followed by discussion and question and answer. Activity evaluation is carried out for each stage through data collection from each activity stage. The methods used in this stage of community service implementation include lectures, question and answer and discussion, training and mentoring. The results of the training showed that the level of understanding of 80% of the participants really understood the material presented by the speakers and. The usefulness of the material shows that 75% of participants strongly agree if the material presented is useful

Abstract

This study aims to analyze policy stimulus fiscal policy in Indonesia and Malaysia to anticipate the impact of the resulting economy from the Covid-19 pandemic. Study this is study descriptive. Source of data obtained from secondary data, documents, and relevant literature.  Based on the results of the study literature The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact significant on the performance sector economy especially group-related business  activity tourist like sector provision of accommodation eat drink, as well transportation and warehousing. Fiscal stimulus packages issued by the countries of Indonesia and Malaysia can be categorized as three goals, namely the stimulus for resolving crisis health society, a stimulus for destination consumption (side demand), and a stimulus for destination production (side offer). The vaccination program in Malaysia has achieved more targets fast than the vaccination program in Indonesia. Economic performance growth is positive in 2021 and 2022 for Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

This study compares the values ​​of independence, work ethic, spirituality, and productivity in several Asian countries. The other purpose of this study is to determine the effect of independence, work ethic, and spirituality on productivity. This study uses World Value Survey (WVS) data with the criteria of respondents who answered the WVS wave 7 questionnaires from Asian countries with a sample size of 19,795. The quantitative research method uses descriptive analysis techniques and probit regression analysis. The descriptive analysis technique uses crosstab, while the probit regression analysis technique is used to determine the effect of independence, work ethic, and spirituality on productivity in several Asian countries. Analysis crosstab shows that Tajikistan, Iran, Taiwan, Pakistan, and the Philippines have a high proportion of unemployed. Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, China, Bangladesh, and Vietnam have a higher tendency for freedom of choice (independence) in their respective country groups. Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, China, Pakistan, and Myanmar have higher work ethic tendencies. Russia, China, Japan, and Vietnam have minor religious inclinations. Probit regression results prove that independence, work ethic, and spirituality significantly affect the dependent variable (productivity). Independence and work ethic have a positive influence, while spirituality has a negative influence. In contrast, all members of the West Asian group all countries have important religious inclinations.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to develop the concept of the twilight market in optimizing the role of BUMDes in increasing the Original Income of Gemblegan Village, Kalikotes District, Klaten Regency by providing assistance in developing and improving the management of the twilight market as one of the business units owned by BUMDes Makmur. .The target audience of this PkM is as many as 20 MSMEs with various business fields ranging from snacks, handicrafts to the business of catering services and management training to the managers of the Twilight Market.The method or approach that will be carried out is by means of lectures, discussions, direct training, business management assistance and additional capital in the form of production equipment and packaging to MSME partners. As for the manager of the twilight market, assistance is provided in the event organizer and Fundrising and SponsorshipIndicators of the success of the activity can be seen from the 11 evaluation indicators carried out by the service team in the form of filling out questionnaires by the participants. The indicators are the suitability of the activity with the objectives, the suitability of the material to the needs of the participants, the quality of the material provided, the mastery of the material by the resource person, the delivery of the material by the resource person, the systematic flow of material delivery, the participation of the resource person to the participant, the proximity of the resource person to the participant, the services provided by the service team, follow-up of problems by resource persons, and willingness of participants to take part in activities if held again.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan usaha UMKM jamu tradisional sebagai respon meningkatnya minat masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi jamu tradisional sebagai salah satu alternatif membangun imunitas tubuh di masa pandemi. Permasalahan yang teridentifikasi mengenai: produk jamu yang kurang variatif jenisnya, belum memiliki merk, sulitnya mengatur keuangan usaha, kemasan produk yang masih monoton, dan pemasaran yang masih sebatas penjualan langsung ke konsumen. Solusi yang diberikan adalah memberikan pelatihan praktek pembuatan jamu serbuk agar produk lebih bervariasi, masa kadaluarsa produk lebih panjang, pelatihan dan pendampingan pengelolaan keuangan usaha, pendampingan pengemasan produk yang lebih mudah, menarik, kreatif, dan inovatif, serta pendampingan pemasaran produk jamu tradisional secara digital dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dan marketplace seperti facebook, instagram, whatsapp bisnis.Khalayak sasaran adalah ibu-ibu pelaku UKM produksi jamu tradisional di Desa Tangkisan Pos, Kecamatan Jogonalan, Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 35 peserta dan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 21 Mei 2022.Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan dapat dilihat dari 11 indikator evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh tim yang dibentuk dari pengisian kuesioner oleh peserta. Indikator tersebut adalah kesesuaian kegiatan dengan tujuan, kesesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan peserta, kualitas materi yang diberikan, penguasaan materi oleh narasumber, penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, alur penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, sistematika penyampaian materi, partisipasi narasumber terhadap peserta, kedekatan narasumber terhadap peserta, pelayanan yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian, tindak lanjut permasalahan oleh narasumber, dan kesediaan peserta untuk mengikuti kegiatan jika diadakan kembali.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on social studies learning outcomes for Class V Elementary School in Gugus Sumberarum, Kapanewon Moyudan, Sleman Regency. This research is pre-experimental research, with a quasi experimental research design. The population in this study consisted of VA and VB classes with 52 students. Sampling used the Simple Random Sampling technique to select the VA class with 20 students as the experimental class and the VB class with 20 students as the control class. The test instrument used is a learning outcomes test. Data is described and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the research show that the value of learning outcomes before implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri Nga teachings obtained an average value of 67.6. After implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri Nga teachings, the average score rose to 85.35. The results of the significance test obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed), namely 0.00 < 0.05, it can be said that there is a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class, so it can be said that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be said that there is a positive influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri Nga teachings on social studies learning outcomes in class V elementary school in Gugus Sumberarum

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the business profitability of PKK members in the Semanu sub-district, Gunung Kidul, through product branding training and diversification of kepok banana preparations. Banana kepok, abundant in the region, has economic potential that has not been optimally utilised. The programme was implemented through a series of training and mentoring involving 30 PKK members. The methods used included lectures, hands-on practice, and consultation. The training materials included processing techniques for pisang kepok into various value-added products, branding strategies, and product marketing. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills. Participants successfully developed four variants of processed kepok banana products with attractive packaging and branding. The community service activities focused on increasing business profitability through product branding strategies and diversification of processed kepok bananas for PKK Semanu Village have shown positive results. Based on a survey, most participants felt an increase in skills in processing products and gained new insights related to branding and marketing. As a follow-up step, regular mentoring is provided to the participants to ensure that the skills and knowledge gained during the training can be optimally applied in the business. Recommendations for programme sustainability include continued mentoring and expansion of marketing networks.
