Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of school resource management in improving the quality of education. The quality of education includes a description of the ability of education in schools in accordance with the standards and objectives to be achieved. This study uses a descriptive type of research and a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the quality of education is the ability of the education system to increase the added value of input factors in order to produce quality outputs. Implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) requires the involvement of all resources who have the ability to empower to be empowered by schools on an ongoing basis by applying an integrated problem-solving approach to management.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe how education funding management was used at the Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah/MTsN) level in Medan City during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to assess difficulties and potential solutions for education financing during the pandemic. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with an emphasis on education funding management, and empirical studies were used to address the difficulties. Observation, interviews, and documentation were the three methods used to acquire data for this study. The principal of the Islamic Junior High School (MTsN), namely MTsN 1, MTsN 2, and MTsN 3, Medan City, was the source of information for this study. The findings revealed that education funding management was efficiently implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. Planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising operations are all part of the management process, as is giving a solution approach for madrasah principals in managing madrasah funding throughout the pandemic, which has been shown to be successful and ideal. This study is designed to provide an alternate approach for school leaders, administrators, and other stakeholders in terms of managing school finances.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of principal leadership and teacher work motivation on teacher satisfaction. Teacher satisfaction has a very important position in the context of improving and controlling the quality of education. This type of research is quantitative. Data was obtained by survey method, namely by distributing questionnaires as research instruments. This research was conducted at Brigjend Katamso II Senior High School Medan, Indonesia. The research sample was 49 teachers. Analysis of the data using correlational analysis techniques and multiple regression. This research is an ex-post facto research, because the researcher does not manipulate the existing variables and directly looks for the existence and level of the relationship between variables which is reflected in the correlation coefficient. The results of the study concluded: (1) there was a significant influence of principal's leadership on teacher satisfaction; (2) there is an effect of teacher work motivation on teacher satisfaction; and (3) there is a joint effect of principal's leadership and teacher's work motivation on teacher satisfaction.

Abstract

The issues that arise regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of academic management, one of which is due to the need for integration of activities using information technology. This research aims to develop a web-based academic information system product using the Research & Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model. The study involves teachers and students at SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh and several experts in the development and implementation phases. The research results indicate that 90.29% of products in the category are deemed highly suitable through expert judgment validation. Meanwhile, the usability results of the product in limited trials were 76; in the main field trial, it was 72; and in the operational field trial, it was 84, categorizing the product as suitable and beneficial for schools in managing academic activities to enhance the effectiveness of school academic management. The implications of this research indicate the potential to improve academic management activities by integrating technology, thereby reducing administrative burdens, saving time, optimizing resource utilization, and assisting stakeholders in decision-making.
