Abstract

The high population growth have led to higher demand for housing and supporting infrastructure, but the area is relatively fixed. This leads causing high conversion of open space to be built. So if it rains, there is always a pool. In downstrean Sub Water Catchment Area of Watu is one of the quite interested location for developers to build housing. Recorded at the studied location, increased number of sites pool with long pool and varying height of pools. On the other hand there has been no approach to handling spatial puddle of water, so as to create spatial land by providing an appropriate space for water to enter the maximum into the ground through infiltration process. The purpose of this study is to provide the spatial direction of drainage techniques to reduce puddles on the Lower Sub-basin Watu. The method used were descriptive method, through the analysis of land use, water absorption analysis, analysis of the rate of surface runoff and drainage system analysis. Analyses were performed on data with the data existing in the year 2010 based on the end year plan from Kota Malang Spatial Plan Year 2010-2030. Based on the analysis, in 2010, woke up the living space is 207.36 ha (31.82%) and 444.36 ha of open space (68.18%). In the year 2030 an increase in space woke up onto 417.97 ha (64.13%) followed by reduction of open space to be 233.75 ha (35.87%). A decrease in water absorption of the Year 2010 m3/year 240,888.40 to 117,444.40 m3/year in the year 2030. And an increase in flow rate on the surface of m3/second 118.622 136.874 m3/second Year 2010 to the Year 2030. From the analysis of the drainage system obtained 33% of the existing conditions are not available drainage, drainage channels covered 17% of the building, 6% of the drainage channels double as irrigation canals, drainage channels 10% too small, 14% with no inlet or drainage channels lip channels higher than face the street, 11% poorly maintained drainage channel or channels overgrown with grass, and 8% tract in good condition.By looking at the result of data analysis and assessment of existing theory, then the directives of spatial technology to reduce the pool of drainage in Sub Water Catchment Area of Watu is the eco-drainage technology or drainage eco-friendly environment, which synergize with the spatial practices of water conservation. Spatial direction of eco-drainage in the Lower Sub-basin Watu are (1). The separation between the drainage channel that drains domestic wastewater with rain water drainage, (2). Preparation of individual wells on the main road corridors, particularly in the residential building medium, large residential, commercial and service facilities, industry and warehousing facilities, education and health facilities, (3). Making collective wells at high density buildings, especially residential buildings are very small and small / simple, and (4). Creating a catchment pond for formal housing in the topography of the basin.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the drainage system, to evaluate the capacity of drainage channel, and to acknowledge the applicable environment-based drainage method. Some data used area rainfall data, population rate, altimetry of channel in location area, land use, inundation and location map.The result of calculation and analysis, the ratio of average absorption area= 0.36, therefore, Magersari sub-drainage system is included within the category without environment-based. Channel capacity, Qs< Q2years, almost all of drainage channel cannot accommodate the discharge. By considering the land limit and the environment preservation principle, therefore, the inundation can be reduced by preparing the injection well method in 1 meter diameter and 3 meters depth, and the retarding basin with dimension 100 x 100 x 3 meter cubic with the filling-up period of 8.79 hours in the catchment area of Afvour Sinoman I.Key words: Drainage, inundation, injection well, retarding basin, environment-based

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the condition of existing land use in years 2010 with the Spatial Plan Batu years 2003 to 2013 to determine the effect of land use on infiltration in Batu City. The method used in this study is regression analysis and Analysis Hierarky Proces. The results showed there is a dominant influence of land use on infiltration and analysts have a different outcome each district. Existing land use conditions in 2010 have an influence on the decline in power of absorbing rainwater into the soil. It can be seen from the declining value of the infiltration in Batu declined 34.915.235 m³ / year or 13% of land use in 2003. To ensure the conservation of water resources in terms of preventing the destructive force of water, the ground water reserves in 3 (three) districts in the town of Batu need to consider land use contained in the spatial plan that no longer have the conversion of land to land up which can lead to reduced capacity and water potential capacity. Keywords: conservation, land use, infiltration.

Abstract

El-Nino has been occurred from 1952 to 2016 with the types of weak, medium, strong and very strong. The event of El-Nino has significant impact on all aspects of economy, social, industry and agriculture. There is a decrease in the quantity of water resources such as in the reservoir where the reservoir inflow becomes very small and the water outflow becomes high. At the event of very strong El-Nino is occurred some of the reservoirs will dry. The aim of the research is to investigate the deficit capacity of the reservoir in the event of El-Nino. The data analyzed in this article were the volume of the half-month reservoir, especially in the event of El-Nino events. The analysis of frequency deficit probability was using Weibull probability and Log Pearson Type III distribution. The results show significant decrease in reservoir water volume over a very long-time period. The reservoir volume never reached maximum water level and persists for almost one year. The deficit of reservoir volumes reached was 16,01x106 m3, 18.64x106 m3, and 21,07x103 m3 for weak, moderate, and very strong El-Nino, respectively.

Abstract

This article presents a new model of the DISPRIN Model combination with two different level optimization methods. The new model of DISPRIN Model combination and Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm is called DISPRIN25-DE Models and its incorporation with Monte Carlo Simulation method called DISPRIN25-MC Models. The case study is Lesti Watershed (319.14 Km2) in East Java. The model test uses a 10-year daily data set, from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2016. Data series Year 2007 ~ 2013 as a set of training data for calibration and data Year 2014 ~ 2016 as testing data set for model validation. Running program DISPRIN25-DE Models with input parameter value C_min = 0, C_max = 1, H_min = 0, H_max = 600 mm obtained best fitness 0.044 m3/sec, NSE = 0.762 and PME = -0.059. The DISPRIN25-MC Models analysis generates a minimum RMSE of 0.056 m3/sec, NSE = 0.779, PME = -0.70. From the RMSE and NSE indicators it appears that both models can show an equivalent level of performance, but in terms of the PME indicator and iteration time is apparent The DISPRIN25-MC model has worse performance than the two DISPRIN25-DE models.
