Abstract

One source of funds obtained by the company is derived from the sale of shares. Stock price changes up or down time by time, and it is influenced by many factors. This research was conducted to examine the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE) on stock price in the Mining Sector Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2010-2012.The data used in this research is a secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique using linear regression, while hypothesis testing using t-test and test-F at a significance level of 5%. The classical assumptions test used in this reasearch include normality, multicolinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation test.Based on the research result that the Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Return On Equity (ROE) and a significant positive effect on Stock Price. Meanwhile, Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) has negative affect on the stock price. Simoultaneously there is a significant effect between Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, dan Return On Equity to the Stock Price.For investors who want to invest stocks, should pay attention to the level of Earning Per Share too, as in this research say that Earning Per Share provides the most powerful influence on Stock Price.

Abstract

This research was motivated by fact that there’s a decline in consumers interest to watch movies in E-Plaza cinema since there’s new competitor emerged in Semarang, affected by lifestyle and price perception factors. This research is aimed to test the influence of activity, interest, opinion (AIO), and price perception towards consumers’ decision to watch movies at E-Plaza cinema Semarang. 100 people in Semarang were chosen as sample by non-probability sampling technique. Linear regression analysis and significance test were used to test the hypotheses using SPSS 17.0. The study results indicate that partially; activity has no influence towards consumer decision, whereas interest and opinion, in spite of having low effects, still has positive influence towards consumer’s decision. Price perception, as the biggest influencer, has positive and significant influence towards consumers’ decision. Simultaneously, activity, interest, opinion and price perception influences consumer’s decision at 48,1%.

Abstract

The sales volume of cigarettes in Indonesia continues growing, as the average daily cigarette consumption per person continues to increase. Marlboro Cigarettes leads the market in the SPM segment (Sigaret Putih Mesin) in Indonesia, but the SPM Share of market has decreased and market share based on Marlboro cigarette sales volume decreased in 2014. This is due to the market trend that still enjoys kretek cigarettes SKM (Sigaret Kretek Mesin) rather than foreign cigarettes such as Marlboro, as well as competitive advertisement competition by competitors and the goverments restriction rule on advertising on cigarettes. The type of research is explanatory research, with a population of 100 respondents who buy and consume brand cigarettes Marlboro. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling. The sampling technique uses Incidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are cross tabulation, correlation, simple regression, and multiple regression using SPSS 24.0 application. This study concludes that advertising and lifestyle influence purchasing decisions, either partially or simultaneously. Lifestyle variables have greater influence than advertising variables. Based on this, researchers suggest that additonal and maximizing the Marlboro cigarette advertising medium by increasing the frequency of ads, serving ads, and strategically placing ads. In addition, held a promotional event Marlboro cigarettes in place of youth crowd.

Abstract

PT. Masscom Graphy Semarang in carrying out operational activities would want a good performance of the employees, especially the production. But this is not easy because of the employee's performance is influenced by many factors. Such factors include leadership, work environment, and employees' organizational commitment factor.This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, work environment, and organizational commitment on employee performance of newspaper print production PT. Masscom Graphy Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection through a questionnaire, literature study and interviews. Testing is done to the newspaper print production employees with a population of 42 people use the census method.The results showed that the leadership (X1), work environment (X2), and organizational commitment (X3) partially or simultaneously affect employee performance (Y) portion newspaper print production. Leadership has the greatest influence in affecting the performance of the employees this can be proven through multiple regression test results stating that the leadership has contributed 64.4%. While the organization's commitment to have the smallest influence in affecting the performance of employees with a contribution of 10.9%.

Abstract

Purchase decision is an act of consumers to want to buy the product or not. To be able to create a high purchasing decisions, Carrefour needs to consider factors - factors that influence purchase decisions. Quality of service, promotion, and price are the things to consider when consumers make a purchase decision.This research aimed to determine the effect of service quality, promotion, and price on purchase decisions at Carrefour simultaneously or partially. The hypothesis is there are significant quality of service, promotion, and pricing on purchasing decisions simultaneously or partially. This type of research is explanatory research with a population of 100 people Srondol Carrefour consumers. Data were collected through questionnaires with Likert scale measurement. Data analysis method used is correlation, simple and multiple linear regression using SPSS 21.This research concluded the quality of services, promotion and pricing influence on purchase decisions partially or simultan.Variabel service quality has a greater influence than promotions and price.Based on the results of this study concluded that consumer perception of quality of service, promotion, and price is fair. So companies are advised to keep increasing consumer purchasing decisions in terms of quality of service, promotion, and better pricing more in line with expectations and needs of the company, so that consumers will feel satisfied and purchasing decisions will increase.

Abstract

Corporate image will be the encouragement of someone before buying something. Especially in the field of services, service quality will be the consideration of a person before deciding. PT. Pos Indonesia pays attention to both these aspects in order to win the competition in the parcel business. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the corporate image and service quality of usage decision of the parcel delivery service PT. Pos Indonesia. The method of this research is explanatory with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews .Accidental sampling techniques used with a sample of 100 people .Analysis of the technique used is quantitative by using a test of validity, reliability, the correlation coefficient, the coefficients determined, simple and multiple regression analysis, cross tabulation, and the significance test (t test and F test). The results showed that variable corporate image having the contribution of influence against variable usage decision at 21,8 percent. Variable service quality having the contribution of influence against variable usage decision at 21,5 percent. Variable corporate image and service quality having the contribution of influence jointly on variable usage decision at 23,1 percent. The suggestions that can be given in this research are the company expected improving their service standards with capable to serve customers well and prioritize customers needs, the speed of employees in providing service, and employee awareness to customers.

Abstract

This research exposed background by wave of globalization that led to the emergence of free competition which make the principals compete in their business. Yamaha was the first company that introduce the motor automatic-based technology. Starting 2005 Yamaha matic motorcycle class become the market leader. However, if viewed developments in the following years after the emergence of other competitors, Yamaha matic market share declined to 2013. In 2013 matic motorcycle Yamaha Soul GT became the best-selling, but sales achievement matic motorcycle Yamaha Soul GT than other series of matic motorcycle Yamaha. In 2014 sales of Yamaha Soul GT also decreased and the sales below Yamaha Mio and Mio GT.The purpose of this research was to determine the level of satisfaction of customers / users Yamaha Soul GT at PT. Yamaha Mataram Sakti Setiabudi Semarang. This type of research is descriptive data capture techniques through questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 81 respondents who are customers of PT. Yamaha Mataram Sakti Setiabudi which uses Yamaha Soul GT. This research uses quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using the Importance-Perfomance Analysis and Cartesian diagram.The results of this research about average level of customer satisfaction Yamaha Soul GT into the category of content, but the average level of customer expectations on eight dimensions used in this research is higher than the level of performance.Based on the research results, the researchers suggested that the company give more attention to the quality of the engine and the frame on the Yamaha Soul GT and companies need to give attention to the dimensions of durability (Age productive Yamaha Soul GT and resale price of Yamaha Soul GT) so as to improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by many factors including leadership and interpersonal communication. PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo on its production activities have production targets so it requires capable production leaders and interpersonal communication that is well established to improve the performance of production employees. The problem in this research is the decrease of employee performance of production by an increase in the number of defective product during last 4 years.The study aims to determine the effect of leadership and interpersonal communication on employee performance an production sector PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo. This type of research is explanatory. Data collection through a questionnaire, interview and literature study. Sample of this research is all employees of production department PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo which amounts to 96 people. Measurement scale using Likert Scale. data analysis using validity and reability, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination and correlation, significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS software version 16.0.The result from data analysis concluded that leadership has a significant influence on employee performance. interpersonal communication has a significant influence on employee performance. Leadership and interpersonal communication are equally has a significant influence on employee performance.Based on the results, suggested in a attempt to improve employee performance of part production, production manager should get attention to the practice of leadership by giving command clearly and slowly about what the employee must do and briefing how to use the machine correctly. Interpersonal communication production manager with his employees needs to be noticed by empathizing with his employees and be positive by paying attention to what the employees say.

Abstract

Life Insurance Company is a company engaged in the service business. Currently the competition of insurance companies in Indonesia are getting tighter. One thing that can do to win the competition is improve the company’s financial performance.This study intends to analyze the company’s financial performance at PT.Allianz Life Indonesia and PT.AXA Mandiri period 2011 – 2015 based on regulation of SOEs Number : PER-10/MBU/2014 about the rating of State – Owned Enterprises in its financial aspects. Then from the results of this study compared to that obtained by the company,s financial performance which are the most good. The method used in this research is analytical descriptive research type. In analyzing the financial performance of life insurance companies are using financial statement analysis techniques in the form of the ratio analysis based on state regulation Number : PER-10/MBU/2014 which are Liquidity from Current Ratio, Solvability from Risk Based Capital (RBC), Profitability from Return on Asset (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE).The result of this study indicate that financial performance of PT. Allianz Life Indonesia isn’t better than PT. AXA Mandiri, especially from the level of ROA and ROE. But, based on regulation of SOEs Number : PER-10/MBU/2014 starting from 2011 – 2012 the financial performance of PT. Allianz Life Indonesia include into category KURANG SEHAT BBB. Starting from 2013 – 2015 PT. Allianz Life Indonesia include into category SEHAT A. While PT. AXA Mandiri starting from 2011 – 2015 always include into category SEHAT A. The conclusion based on percentage ratio and state regulation Number : PER-10/MBU/2014 showed that AXA Mandiri is better than Allianz Life Indonesia, the best financial performance also obtained by AXA MAndiri with score 80% and include into category SEHAT A.For PT. Allianz Life Indonesia shoudly improve the current assets and reduce the fixed assets or sell the unproductive fixed assets. In the other side, Allianz Life Indonesia can increase the revenue and reduce the burden.

Abstract

Laptop is a device that is very important because it helps every individual the usual deals to the technology of such students and college students to make it easier in carrying out almost every task .Acer always top ranked the top brand in an index on 2013-2015 year. However in three years the percentage of the acer decline every year though still be ranked first. This is caused by the increasing number of competitors who give a lower price and promotion that has intensively by a competitor. So as to make the community switch to using a competitor products.Type of this research is explanatory research, with a population of about 100 respondents who buy and use laptop brand acer. The sample collection to research it uses non-probablility sampling. Technique the sample collection use purposive sampling. Data collected through the questionnaire. The method of analysis the data used the use of tabulating cross, correlation, regression, regression simple, and multiple regression by using application SPSS.This study conclude that price and promotion influential of the decision the purchase, whether partial and a stimulant, variable promotion have more impact of variable price.Based on it, researchers suggest that company acer have to increase back promotion acer that consumers know that laptop acer is laptop numer one in Indonesia and also reevaluate them the prices offered has appropriate or not
