Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between digital economy factors and environmentally sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. Variables include Internet Users (IU), Carbon Emissions (CE), Green Investment (GI), Energy Consumption (EC), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP), using 2006–2024 World Bank data analyzed through the Vector Autoregression (VAR) method. Tests conducted include unit root, Johansen cointegration, impulse response (IRF), and variance decomposition (FEVD). Results show that internet usage significantly influences green investment, energy consumption, and GDP, especially in the long term. The positive impact of IU on GDP grows over time, highlighting the role of digitalization in improving efficiency and promoting green systems. While carbon emissions were initially driven by traditional activities like exports and energy use, they are increasingly shaped by digital economy growth and green investment. Energy consumption and green investment also demonstrate a two-way relationship with technology adoption and economic growth. The findings confirm that the digital economy can accelerate sustainable development. Leveraging technology, boosting green sector investment, and managing energy use effectively can help Indonesia achieve inclusive, low-carbon growth. Policy integration between digital transformation and green development is vital to expedite the country’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Cholelithiasis or gallstones form from an imbalance of chemical content in bile that causes the deposition of one or more of the bile components. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the incidence of cholelithiasis in the world was 11.7% in 2017. Risk factors are closely related to cholelithiasis such as age, sex, and BMI. Usually, gallstones that block the bile ducts can cause damage to liver cells and inhibit bile flow which can affect liver function such as SGOT, SGPT, and bilirubin which will indicate liver damage. Objective: Knowing how the description of SGOT, SGPT, and bilirubin levels in cholelithiasis patients at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang in 2021-2023. Abstract

Background: Color evaluation is crucial to evaluate a material’s quality. One alternative method for evaluating material’s color is using photographs analysed by software. This research evaluates the use of digital imaging and software (ImageJ and Photoshop) to obtain color differences of tooth sample in-vitro. Method: The sample used is bovine teeth that were given tea-staining and brushing treatment using five tested toothpastes. Sample’s photographs for each toothpaste’s group (n=4) were taken before and after experiment. DLSR Nikon D90 was used with digital CCD censor, macro lens 105mm, manual setting (ISO 200, F-Stop 5, Shutter Speed 1/400) with distance to sample of 25cm. Sample was positioned in foldable mini-studio-box (24.5x24.5x22.5cm) with LED-lighting (6500-7000 color temperature). The photographs were taken in close room at 11.00am. Two software were used to obtain the color value from pre- and post-experimental photographs of the sample at the middle-third of the sample using CIE-Lab (Commision Internacional de l’Eclairage L*a*b) color system. The resulted color difference (ΔE) value of sample from the two-software were compared using independent T-test and evaluate the measurement accuracy using Pearson’s correlation (α=0.05). Result: ImageJ and Photoshop analyses of the sample photographs yield comparable ΔE values, as determined by an independent T-test (p=0.893). The Pearson correlation test reveals a positive correlation (R=0.904) between the two software. Conclusion: The use of digital photography and software to obtain ΔE values are accurate, representative, and recommended when taking into account the controlled procedure of photographing the sample and analysing the sample's color value.

Abstract

Sustainability reporting serves as a valuable tool to demonstrate how a business addresses economic and environmental challenges. This study investigates the influence of age, size and sustainability reporting comprehension of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) on their performance. From a certain population, 40 MSMEs were successfully collected as samples. Logistic regression was employed as the data analysis method. The results reveal that the age do not affect performance, meanwhile size positively affects performance. Moreover, it is found that sustainability reporting comprehension negatively affects performance of MSMEs. The results of this study contribute to bridge the literature gap in the scope of sustainability reporting for MSMEs. In addition, it offers support for the adoption of sustainability reporting standards for MSMEs as a specific sector.
