Decrease of maternal and infant mortality as well as increasing of the exclusive breastfeeding are major public health priorities in Indonesia. In decreasing the maternal and infant mortality, the government developed a program for the community as Baby Friendly Hospital (BFH) to prevent the effects, to support, and to promote breastfeeding. PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta was one of the BFH program managers. The purpose of this study was to determine the breastfeeding promotion activities as part of BFH at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta.This was a qualitative descriptive study. The findings of this study were inputs consisting of 1) the knowledge and skills to better convey information indicates the quality of human resources. 2) promotion of the policies for all workers to reach the goal. 3) financial promotion is supported by the operating system in the hospital. 4) supporting facility to promote lactation leaflets, posters, ANC class, a breastfeeding counselor and nursing areas. Implementation of lactation promotion was conducted in accordance with program planning of BFH.

ABSTRAKBeberapa tahun setelah kejadian gempa bumi Aceh 2004, telah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas kegempaan khususnya di daerah Sumatra. Peningkatan aktivitas ini menimbulkan keingintahuan yang lebih dalam mengenai tektonik daerah ini. Peningkatan jumlah kejadian kegempaan memungkinkan kita untuk memperoleh informasi lebih lanjut sebagai bahan untuk mempelajari tektonik aktif di Sumatra. Penelitian ini meliputi analisis data gempa bumi besar (M>5) di daerah Sumatra bagian utara dengan membandingkan kejadian sebelum dan setelah gempa bumi Aceh. Data gempa bumi menunjukkan adanya pembagian empat daerah kegempaan yang dapat dikaitkan dengan aktivitas pada Cekungan Busur Muka Aceh dan Sesar Simeulue-Nias. Profil sebaran episenter juga menunjukkan kemungkinan kedalaman lajur aktif pada kedua fitur tersebut hingga 40-60 km. Pengelompokan daerah kegempaan dan evaluasi tektoniknya menunjukkan adanya segmentasi tektonik aktif pada Lempeng Mikro Sumatra Bagian Utara.Kata kunci: gempa bumi, seismik, Sumatra Utara, Cekungan Aceh, Busur MukaABSTRACTA few years after the 2004 Aceh earthquake, there has been an increase in seismic activity especially in the Sumatra region. This increase in activity raises a deeper curiosity about the tectonics of this area. The increase in number of seismic events allow us to obtain better data for further study of the active tectonics of Sumatra. This study includes data analysis of major earthquakes (M>5) in the northern Sumatra region by comparing the events prior and post major earthquake of Aceh in December 2004. Earthquake data indicate the existence of division of four regions that can be attributed to the seismic activity of the Aceh fore arc basin and Simeulue-Nias Fault. Epicenters distribution profile also suggests that the depth of the active zone on both features ranges on 40-60 km. Regional grouping of seismicity and evaluation of its tectonics indicate the existence of active tectonic plate segmentation on Micro Plate Tectonics of Northern Sumatra.Keywords: earthquake, seismic, North Sumatra, Aceh Basin, Fore-arc

SARIEvaluasi data gempa bumi yang terjadi di Indonesia sejak tahun 1973 hingga tahun 2009 dilakukan denganmenggunakan data dari katalog bebas milik Pusat Informasi Gempa Bumi Nasional (NEIC)-USGS. Secara keseluruhan, data kegempaan dalam kurun waktu 36 tahun tersebut tidak memperlihatkan adanyapola waktu atau lokasi yang teratur. Namun adanya peningkatan jumlah kejadian gempa bumi tampak sangat jelas. Jumlah gempa bumi pertahun sejak tahun 2004 kurang lebih dua kali lebih banyak dibandingkan kejadian pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Hanya saja belum ada teori yang dapat menerangkan fenomena peningkatan kejadian gempa bumi ini.Kata kunci: Data gempa bumi, peningkatan jumlah kejadianABSTRACTEvaluation of earthquakes occurred Indonesia since 1973 – 2009 has been done using earthquake data from the open catalog of United States Geological Survey – National Earthquake Information Center. Overall, the 36 years data do not show any particular pattern in time or location. However, the increase in events number since 2004 is apparent. There are twice as many earthquakes each year since 2004 as to each year before 2004. Kebutuhan pewarna antosianin untuk industri makanan, minuman, kosmetik, dan farmasi saat ini diproduksi dari pewarna sintetis. Sebagai alternatif lain pengganti pewarna sintetis, antosianin dapat diperoleh dari ekstrak kulit buah manggis yang sampai saat ini masih merupakan limbah hasil pertanian yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan. Pewarna antosianin alami ini dipengaruhi oleh pH. Ketidakstabilan ini merupakan dasar pertimbangan dalam melakukan ekstraksi antosianin dari tumbuh-tumbuhan. Karena itu produksi antosianin ini dilakukan dengan cara ekstraksi pada suhu 4°C, menggunakan pelarut etanol yang diasamkan dengan asam asetat. Perlakuan percobaan yang diterapkan terdiri dari dua faktor, yaitu faktor waktu ekstraksi yang terdiri dari empat level (20 jam, 22 jam, 24 jam, 2(3 jam) dan faktor konsentrasi asam yang terdiri dari tiga level (1 %, 5%, 10%).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kulit buah manggis cukup baik dimanfaatkan sebagai pewarna alami alternatif untuk mer1~gantikan pewarna sintetis. Dalam proses pengolahannya perlu diperhatikan kadar konsentrasi asam dan waktu ekstraksi. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap kadar antosianin yang dihasilkan. Waktu ekstraksi yang menghasilkan antosianin yang terbanyak dalam percobaan ini adalah 24 jam dengan konsentrasi asam asetat yang diperlukan sebanyak 1 %.

The Function of stabilization is to decrease leachate or chemical reaction which is potential to produce pollutant from waste. Three kinds of stabilization such as addition of the cement, lime and organic sludge had been done before. The result showed that the sludge can bind heavy metal. Analysis result showed that the decrease 'in presentation of heavy metal are Zn (79%), Cu (83,5 %), Fe (99,97 %), Mn (JOO %) and Cr (98,2 %). This experiment is continued to find the optimum amount of cement added to the sludge. The result showed that by addition of 5 % cement in textile sludge can hold the heavy metal.

The knowledge and attitude are very importantfor successful breastfeeding practice. This paper reports a systematic literature review about influenceof knowledge and attitude on beastfeeding practice around the world. An online literature search was conducted in Science Direct, Cochrane Database of synstematic reviews, PubMed, WileyInterScience, SpringerLink, and Garuda. Almost all of studies show the similar result; knowledge and attitude influence breastfeeding practice.

ABSTRACT Breastfeeding is the ideal food for babies. Ignorance mother about the importance of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed properly, and launched an aggressive marketing by manufacturers of infant formula, an inhibiting factor for the formation of awareness of parents in providing exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to determine the relationships between knowledge and techniques of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding in the area of Puskesmas Pengasih II, Kulonprogo.This research employed cross sectional design. The population was all mothers with babies six to 12 months with total sample 142 mothers. The data analysis employed chi square test with alpha significance=5%. There were relationships between knowledge (p = 0.006) and feeding techniques (p = 0.002) with exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords: knowledge, breastfeeding techniques, exclusive breastfeeding. The accretionary prism complex has unique morphological characteristic as a result of deformation and sedimentation processes that develop in the area. Simeulue Island is one example of the islands in the accretionary complex. Geological study was arranged to map geological structure and morphology of Simeulue Island by satellite images interpretation and field survey. We use Landsat TM 5, Landsat 8 and Aster-GDEM imageries for morphology and structural geology interpretation. The collision in the deformation front has generally developed reverse and thrust faults in the Simeulue Island. The north-northeast blocks tend to be higher than the south-southwest blocks. Based on imagery interpretation, the dominant thrusts are the trenchward-vergence thrusts. Measurement of structural features and folds reconstruction indicated the existence of the out-of-sequence thrusts, which might activated the arcward-vergence thrust. This arcward-vergence thrust could be interpreted as a backthrust fault of a backstop mechanism in the inner accretionary prism. The thrusts might be correlated to the mud diapirisms that were also found in some locations in the island. The finding of thrusts and mud diapirism traces concurred to the theory that the mélange complexes in subduction zones were formed through mud diapirism that facilitated by backthrust faults.ABSTRAKKompleks prisma akresi memiliki karakteristik morfologi yang unik sebagai hasil dari proses deformasi dan sedimentasi yang berkembang di daerah tersebut. Pulau Simeulue merupakan salah satu contoh pulau yang terbentuk pada prisma akresi. Studi geologi dilakukan untuk menggambarkan keadaan struktur geologi yang terbentuk di Pulau Simeulue yang berhubungan dengan mekanisme pembentukan sesar-sesar anjak pada prisma akresi, pembentukan kompleks batuan bancuh dan mekanisme kubah lumpur. Morfologi dan struktur geologi Pulau Simeulue dipetakan melalui interpretasi citra dan survey lapangan. Citra yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah citra Landsat TM5, Landsat 8 dan Aster-GDEM. Tumbukan di bagian muka deformasi mengakibatkan berkembangnya struktur berupa sesar-sesar naik dan anjak dimana di bagian utara-timurlaut cenderung lebih naik daripada bagian selatan-baratdaya. Berdasarkan hasil interpretasi citra, sesar-sesar yang berkembang tersebut umumnya merupakan sesar-sesar anjak berarah palung (trenchward-vergence thrusts). Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran fitur struktur di lapangan dan rekonstruksi lipatan di Pulau Simeulue, perkembangan struktur anjak juga terjadi secara out-of-sequence yang mengakibat-kan teraktifkannya sesar anjak berarah busur (arcward-vergence thrusts). Sesar anjak berarah palung dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai backthrust fault dari sebuah mekanisme backstop di bagian belakang prisma akresi. Sesar-sesar anjak ini dapat dikaitkan dengan keberadaan kubah lumpur (mud diapir) yang jejaknya juga ditemukan di beberapa lokasi di Pulau Simeulue. Hal-hal tersebut mendukung teori bahwa kompleks batuan mélange di Pulau Simeulue terbentuk melalui proses mud diapirism yang muncul melalui sesar-sesar anjak.

ABSTRACT Bandung area, as one of most populated area in Indonesia and one region with a high risk of earthquake hazard, needs a comprehensive mitigation work. To locate active faults is one of the most important things in preliminary survey for earthquake hazard mitigation effort. Accordingly, two transect lines of gravity measurement were completed across a suspected active fault, Haruman Fault, at the east of Bandung Basin region. The subsurface modeling has presented a general idea of geological subsurface structure of this transects area and indicates the possible existences of faults at the east boundary of Bandung-Garut Basin.

The subduction of the Indian-Australian Plate beneath the Eurasian Plate is oblique (~45o) along Sumatra. A major zone of dextral strike slip displacement along Sumatra Island, called the Sumatra Fault, partially accommodates the oblique convergence off Sumatra. On the contrary, the subduction is normal along Java; therefore, no major fault zone can be found along the Java Island. The transition zone of the Sunda Strait fore arc, which is located between Java and Sumatra fore arc, is subject to northwest-southeast extension related to the motion of the Sumatra Fault and north-south compression because of subduction. Geophysical studies show that continuous extension dominated the Sunda Strait fore arc region. The results are interpreted as showing ongoing separation of the Sunda Strait fore arc region as the Sumatra fore arc plate has moved northwest, bounded by the Sumatra Fault. Therefore, the Sumatra Fault can also be interpreted to extend across the fore arc to the trench in the form of several graben systems. Key words: Sunda Strait, Sumatra Fault Zone, fore arc tectonic
