Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat efisiensi produksi, alokatif dan ekonomis petani jagung terhadap usaha tani jagung lokal, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi produksi. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis fungsi produksi stochastic frontier yang diestimasi  dengan metoda maximum likelihood (MLE) dengan memakai program komputasi frontier versi 4.1 yang dikembangkan oleh Coelli (1996). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efisiensi ekonomi komoditi jagung lokal di kecamatan Guluk-Guluk Kabupaten Sumenep sebesar 0,676. Efisiensi teknis sebesar 0,29 (belum efisien), sedangkan efisiensi alokatif/harga sebesar 3,108 (sudah efisien). Faktor yang secara nyata mempengaruhi efisiensi ekonomi adalah pengalaman usahatani dan pendidikan formal petani. Abstract

Technical Efficiency Analysis and IneffeciencySources of Rice Farming In Narrow Lands in Bantul District Yogyakarta Province. The increasing rice production is mostly constrained by the ever-declining agricultural land area which is mainly solved by improving productivity through efficiency. Most of the farmer's land tenure in Java is a narrow area (less than 0.5 ha). Hence, this research aimed 1) to know the level of technical efficiency, allocative and economic, and 2) to know the technical inefficiency sources of rice farming in narrow land in Jetis District, Regency of Bantul. This research applied the basic method of descriptive analytic technique. The research location was determined based on the purposive method at the location with small farming scale (land area <0.5 ha). It involved 72 farmers as the research samples with were determined by surfeited sampling technique. The resulted data were analyzed by the method of stochastic production function model with frontier 4.1 program. It was revealed that the variables affecting the increase of rice production were land area, the seed’s number and the amount of pesticides use. It resulted in the average farmers’ technical efficiency level of 0.73. A total of 63.89% farmers at the research sites were already technically efficient (efficiency level > 0.70). The sources of technical inefficiency were education, experience, number of productive family members and number of plots (plots of land). The number of family members with productive age and the number of plots will improve technical efficiency. It was revealed that the variables affecting the minimize of production cost are production quantity, fertilizer NPK phonska price, organic fertilizer, and labor wage.Keywords:rice, narrow land, rice, technical efficiency, technical inefficiencyABSTRAKPeningkatan produksi padi terkendala dengan semakin berkurangnya luas lahan pertanian, maka diupayakan dengan peningkatan produktivitas melalui efisiensi. Sebagian besar penguasaan lahan petani di pulau Jawa merupakan lahan sempit (luas kurang dari 0,5 ha). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis, alokatif dan ekonomi,  dan 2) mengetahui sumber-sumber inefisiensi teknis usahatani padi pada lahan sempit di Kecamatan Jetis, Kabupaten Bantul. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Penentuan lokasi penelitian secara purposive pada lokasi yang skala usahataninya kecil (lahan sempit <0,5 ha). Penentuan sampel petani dengan metode sampling jenuh sebanyak 72 petani. Metode analisis menggunakan model fungsi produksi stochastic dengan program frontier 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berpengaruh meningkatkan produksi yakni luas lahan dan jumlah penggunaan pestisida, sedangkan yang berpengaruh menurunkan produksi yakni jumlah benih. Rata-rata tingkat efisiensi petani sebesar 0,73. Sebanyak 63,89% petani di lokasi penelitian sudah efisien secara teknis  (tingkat efisiensi teknis >0,70). Sumber-sumber inefisiensi teknis yakni pendidikan, pengalaman, jumlah anggota keluarga produktif, dan jumlah persil (petak lahan). Jumlah anggota keluarga usia produktif dan jumlah persil akan meningkatkan efisiensi teknis. Variabel yang berpengaruh meminimumkan biaya produksi adalah jumlah produksi, harga pupuk NPK phonska, pupuk organik, dan upah tenaga kerja.  Kata kunci: padi, efisiensi teknis, inefisiensi teknis, lahan sempit

Abstract

The purposes of the research to know the factors that affect the profits in the pineapple chips business. The research was conducted in Tambang Sub-district Kampar Regency Riau Province where the location selection for the research was conducted purposively i.e. selecting the location intentionally, while the method of collecting data was using census method. Research method was using multiple linear regression analysis with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) to determine the factors that affect the profit. The results showed that the factors that affected the profit of pineapple chips business were baking soda prices, shrinkage of vacuum frying machine, the frequency of production and yield, while raw material prices, the price of cooking oil and labor costs did not give a significant influence on profits.

Abstract

In 2012, the upland area in Karanganyar Districtreached 45.11% of agricultural land. The farmer problems are technical (erosion, soil fertility, water availability) and economic (fluctuation of production, pricing and income). They take off farm acivity in order to increase household income.The main objective of the study is to determine (1) farming cost andincome, (2) the diversity and contribution of off farm activity, (3) household income (4) consumption and investment of upland farm household.Based on altitude and proportion of upland area, the study was carried out in Jatiyoso. Respondent of 60 farmers was drawn randomly from Wonorejo village. The methods is descriptively analysis were applied to explain economic behavior of upland farm households. In average, the cost of upland farm is Rp 4.9120.720 and income Rp 13.716.773 in a year. Contribution of off farm activity (45,92%) more than upland farming (37,47%). Excess income are prioritized for investment to buy land and livestock. Food consumption from production itself reaches15,55 %. Abstract

Pasar elektronik (e-marketplace) memberikan paradigma baru bagi setiap organisasi bisnis dalam mengelola usahanya, termasuk UMKM pangan. Identifikasi perubahan yang diperlukan pada traditional marketing mix (4P) menjadi kebutuhan untuk membangun model yang sesuai dalam relationship marketing di e-marketplace. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion) terhadap tingkat keunggulan posisional bersaing yang dicapai oleh UMKM pangan di e-marketplace. E-marketplace yang dipilih sebagai wilayah sampel adalah Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak. Responden yang dijadikan sampel adalah UMKM yang menjual produk makanan ringan di e-marketplace yang berjumlah 160 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Total indikator yang diukur dalam model adalah 16 indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa product, place, promotion berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan posisional bersaing. Variabel e-marketing mix yang berpengaruh paling dominan terhadap peningkatan keunggulan posisional bersaing UMKM pangan di e-marketplace adalah product. Oleh karena itu, optimasi foto produk, variasi produk, deskripsi produk, dan informasi update produk merupakan kunci utama UMKM pangan untuk meningkatkan keunggulan posisional bersaing di e-marketplace.Kata kunci: e-marketplace, keunggulan posisional bersaing, marketing mix, UMKM pangan

Abstract

The pepper auction market in Sleman Regency was formed in 2017. This market is becoming the main marketing line for all pepper traders in Sleman Regency because it is serving appropriate prices for the farmer. Some problems also appeared during the implementation of the pepper auction market. This study aimed to arrange an effective strategy in developing a pepper auction market in Sleman Regency. This study conducted from January to February 2020 involving 23 major traders who chosen by the census method and 6 stakeholders who chosen by purposive sampling technique. SWOT analysis was applied to arrange an effective strategy in developing the pepper auction market. The result showed that the most effective strategy used in developing the pepper auction market was the SO-Strategy, such as: improving product quantity and quality, improving the quality of services and creating good relationships with the assembly point management party and auction participants, and building an online product and price database system. The auction market management parties and some stakeholders are required to regularly monitor and assure the market system in conducting a market auction process appropriately. We also suggested to use modern technology devices to assure the auction transparency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha budidaya jamur tiram putih di Kabupaten Karanganyar, dan mengetahui tingkat sensitivitas kelayakan usaha budidaya jamur tiram putih di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja atau purposive, yaitu penentuan daerah sampel yang diambil secara sengaja oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 30 orang secara acak. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net B/C ratio, dan analisis sensitivitas dengan pendekatan nilai pengganti (switching value). Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 45.778.308,63, nilai Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 35,64 persen, dan nilai Net B/C ratio 1,97, yang berarti usaha budidaya jamur tiram putih layak untuk dilaksanakan. Analisis sensitivitas dengan pendekatan nilai pengganti (switching value) yang dilakukan menunjukkan persentase penu-runan maksimum harga jual jamur tiram putih segar yang masih dapat ditolerir adalah sebesar 18,30 persen, sedangkan kenaikan maksimum biaya operasional yang masih dapat ditolerir adalah sebesar 26,34 persen. Penurunan maksimum harga jamur tiram putih dan kenaikan maksimum biaya operasional secara simultan adalah sebesar 10,80 persen.

Abstract

Sembalun District is the center of garlic farming in East Lombok Regency and one of the areas with the highest garlic production in Indonesia. Garlic is a commodity with very high demand in Indonesia and continues to increase. However, this demand is primarily supported by imports. On the other hand, garlic farming has high risks due to dependence on the weather. Therefore, farmers must have good entrepreneurial skills to optimize the performance of their farming business. This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial competency, and entrepreneurial orientation on the business performance of garlic farmers in Sembalun District. The research uses primary data taken from 70 garlic farmers spread across five villages in Sembalun District. The analytical method used in this research is SEM PLS analysis with the help of SmartPLS software version 4.0. The research results show that (1a) pull motivation has a positive effect on entrepreneurial orientation; (1b) push motivation has a negative effect on entrepreneurial orientation; (1c) entrepreneurial competency has a positive impact on entrepreneurial orientation; (2a) pull motivation has a positive effect on farming business performance; (2b) push motivation has a negative effect on farming business performance; (2c) entrepreneurial competency has no impact on farming business performance; (3) entrepreneurial orientation has a positive effect on farming business performance.
