Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together  berbantuan Geogebra terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sample. Sampel yang diambil 1 kelas eksperimen, 1 kelas kontrol, dan 1 kelas uji coba.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi,tes, dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t pihak kanan dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model  pembelajaran Numbered Head Together berbantuan Geogebra berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan presentase pengaruh sebesar 61,49%

Abstract

Developing entrepreneurial characters and skill is one of the goals of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Pancasakti University Tegal. To achieve this goal, the learning process needs to support the development of entrepreneurial characters, such as self-confidence, hard work and unyielding, cooperative, independent, and active and creative. Learning activities should be able to provide opportunities for students to participate actively. Therefore, this study aimed at designing a Maple-integrated workbook to help students establish their entrepreneurial character. The workbook helps students build the character of independent in learning calculus, active and cooperative in solving problems, and creative in using Maple to explore the concept of calculus. This study employed Research and Development by adapting Borg and Gall's steps, which are preliminary information, design, preliminary development, validation and preliminary revision, field test and final revision. The entrepreneurial characters instrument is a questionnaire comprising statements that reflect the characters of entrepreneurship, which are self-confident, hard work, cooperative, independent, and active and creative. The result of questionnaire analysis showed that in general students’ entrepreneurial characters are in a good category, with the average score of entrepreneurial character is 2.85 out of 4.

Abstract

A factor that contributes to students’ low performance in Calculus is that some teachers and lecturers tend to explain the concept of integral by using a set of symbols, notations, and rules without providing any contexts or representations of the concept. This study was aimed at supporting college students’ understanding of integral by integrating Maple in the learning process using Maple-integrated workbook. This study adapted Brog and Galls’ procedures which consist of collecting preliminary information, planning, developing, validation and preliminary revision, field test, and final revision. The subject of this study was college students’ of Mathematics Education Department of UPS Tegal. The result showed that module developed was in a good criteria, and the conceptual understanding test showed that 82,4% students in the experimental class got a score of 71 or higher. Moreover, the average score of the experiment and control class also confirmed that the average of students’ score in experiment class was significantly higher than that of students in control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe : 1) the ability to understand mathematical concepts taught with GeoGebra assisted LSQ learning models whose values above 60 exceeded 55% and the average exceeded the targeted KKM of 60. 3) the effect of activeness of students taught by GeoGebra assisted LSQ learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. 4) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught with the GeoGebra assisted LSQ learning model is better than the STAD learning model. The population in this study were class VIII School 1 Talang Tegal District 2018/2019 Academic Year. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The samples taken were 3 classes namely 1 experimental class, 1 control class and 1 trial class. The method of data collection in this study uses documentation techniques, observation and tests. Data analysis using proportion test and t test one sample, PKPD test, simple linear regression test, and t test one right side. The results of the study stated that : 1) the ability to understand mathematical concepts taught by the GeoGebra assisted LSQ learning model whose scores exceeded the KKM exceeded 55% and the average reached the targeted KKM of 60. 3) there is the influence of GeoGebra's assisted LSQ learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of 66.12%. 4) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught with the GeoGebra assisted LSQ learning model is better than using the STAD learning model

Abstract

ABSTRACT. In this paper, we study the problem of stationary infiltration on several types of homogeneous soil from a single trapezoidal channel. A governing equation in this problem is in the form of a nonlinear differential equation and is called the Richards’ equation. The equation can be solved more easily by transforming it into a modified Helmholtz equation. In this study, the Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Method (DRBEM) was used to solve the modified Helmholtz equation numerically. Then, using the obtained solution, the numerical values of the Matric Flux Potential (MFP) for each soil type were computed and then compared. For the position of the same points, the Pima Clay Loam soil type has the highest MFP value, followed by Clay Loam and Sandy Loam.Keywords: Richards’ equation, modified Helmholtz equation, matric flux potential, DRBEM, single irrigation channel. ABSTRAK. Dalam artikel ini dibahas masalah infiltrasi stasioner pada beberapa jenis tanah homogen dari saluran irigasi tunggal bentuk trapesium. Persamaan pengatur masalah ini berbentuk persamaan diferensial nonlinear dan disebut dengan persamaan Richards. Persamaan tersebut dapat diselesaikan lebih mudah dengan mentransformasikannya menjadi persamaan Helmholtz termodifikasi. Dalam artikel ini, Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Methods (DRBEM) digunakan untuk menyelesaikan persamaan Helmholtz termodifikasi tersebut secara numerik. Selanjutnya, dihitung nilai numerik Matric Flux Potential (MFP) masing-masing jenis tanah dan kemudian dibandingkan. Untuk posisi titik-titik yang sama, jenis tanah Pima Clay Loam mempunyai nilai MFP tertinggi, kemudian disusul oleh Clay Loam dan Sandy Loam. Kata Kunci: persamaan Richards, persamaan Helmholtz termodifikasi, matric flux potential, DRBEM, saluran irigasi tunggal.

Abstract

Kelurahan Tegalsari di Kota Tegal mempunyai permasalahan serius terkait pengelolaan sampah, terutama di RW X yang berdekatan dengan Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai. Masalah ini disebabkan oleh aktivitas perikanan yang menghasilkan banyak limbah dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diadakan pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme bagi ibu-ibu PKK di RW X. Tujuannya adalah memberikan solusi pengelolaan sampah organik secara mandiri dan ramah lingkungan. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pembuatan dan manfaat eco enzyme. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah koordinasi, pemberian materi dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi membuat eco enzyme, diskusi dan tanya jawab, sosialisasi manfaat dan penggunaan eco enzyme serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini yang telah diikuti 22 peserta adalah berjalan dengan baik, antusias dan aktif. Terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terkait pembuatan eco enzyme. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme ini merupakan langkah yang positif dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Dengan beberapa perbaikan, kegiatan serupa dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan berdampak lebih luas. Selain itu, penting untuk terus melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap keberlanjutan penggunaan eco enzyme oleh peserta pelatihan. Kata kunci : eco enzyme, pelatihan, PKK, limbah rumah tangga

Abstract

A training program on eco-enzyme soap making was conducted in July 2024 for 22 PKK members in Tegalsari Village, Tegal City. The program aimed to enhance the utilization of organic waste and equip participants with new skills. The training successfully improved participants' understanding of the eco-enzyme soap-making process, although some practical challenges were encountered. Evaluation results indicated that participants were enthusiastic and capable of producing bar soap. This initiative is expected to serve as a foundation for developing local-resource-based creative economies and promoting environmentally friendly behaviors.

Abstract

In this paper, steady infiltration problems into a homogeneous soil from a single triangular and trapezoidal irrigation channel are considered. The governing equation is Richard's equation that represents the movement of water in unsaturated soil. It is a non-linear equation and can be solved by linearizing to become a modified Helmholtz equation. Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Methods (DRBEM) are used in this study to numerically solve the modified Helmholtz equation. Therefore, by using a provided solution, the numerical Matric Flux Potential (MFP) is calculated. This method was applied to the homogeneous soil problem of stationer infiltration from triangular and trapezoidal single irrigation. Both numerical solutions were compared. The result show that the MFP value from the triangular irrigation is higher than the trapezoidal irrigation. This indicates that content water from the triangular irrigation channel is higher than the trapezoidal irrigation channel.

Abstract

This research employs a qualitative case study method, also known as field research, which examines the process of differentiation learning in-depth in regular classes that include students with special needs (slow learners) in mathematics lessons. The subjects of this study were teachers and slow learners in the 4th grade of an Elementary School. The data in this study is information about teacher strategies in teaching mathematics in Grade 4. The results of this study are differentiation learning strategies in mathematics lessons in Grade 4 of Elementary School, seen from teacher skills in explaining mathematics lesson materials by accommodating all students' learning needs, including slow learners, both in terms of content and process differentiation, lesson planning according to students' learning needs, and providing feedback to students.  Keywords: learning strategies, differentiation, slow learners, mathematics, special needs

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam pembelajaran daring yang berbantuan Whatsapp pada materi Pokok Bangun Segiempat Dan Segitiga kelas VII I SMP Negeri 5 Adiwerna Kabupaten Tegal. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling dari nilai tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 6 subjek yaitu masing-masing 2 subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi, 2 subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang, dan 2 subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan data kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukan bahwa : Kemampuan komunikasi matematis untuk subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi memenuhi lima indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis , subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis  dan subjek dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah memenuhi dua indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis.Adapun saran Bagi siswa sebaiknya lebih banyak membaca, memahami penulisan simbol dan makna dalam matematika, serta memahami rumus sebuah konsep matematika. siswa harus lebih teliti dalam melakukan proses penyelesaian soal. Selain itu juga, siswa dapat membiasakan diri berlatih mengerjakan latihan soal adar dapat menyusun  jawaban untuk  menyelesaikan soal, menjawab soal yang telah diberikan sehingga siswa dapat menyelesaikan dan menyimpulkan dari pertanyaan yang diberikan.Â
