Abstract

The purposes of the study are to determine and to describe the family economy and the implementation of the nine-year compulsory education program at Kajenengan village, Bojong subdistrict, Tegal district in 2014. It was a qualitative descriptive study because it only described the analysis results of the research data and did not use the statistics procedure. The population of the study was 1011 family leaders at Kajenengan village. It used purposive sampling technique to get 252 family leaders or about 25% of the population as the samples. Data were collected by observation, interviews and documentation. Then, data were analyzed by data reduction, data display, and concluding. The results of the study were: (1) the obstacles of the social and economy of the family were; a) the income source:  47.20%  of Kajenengan villagers  were farm laborers, b) the income:  the income range per day of 28.57%  of the samples was  IDR 21,000 up to IDR 30,000, c) the number of family members: 33.73% of Kajenengan families had 5-6 family members in their nuclear family, d) the use of income: only 32.80% of Kajenengan villagers who prioritized the education, especially on nine-years compulsory education program.  (2) There were only 8.73% of the samples who implemented nine-year compulsory education program; moreover; 47.62% family leaders said that not all family members followed the nine-year compulsory education and there was 43.65% of the samples who did not follow the nine-year compulsory education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe family economy and the implementation of nine-year compulsory education program at Kajenengan village, Bojong Sub District of Tegal in 2014. It was a qualitative descriptive study. The population of study was 1011 family leaders. This research used purposive sampling technique and 252 family leaders or about 25% of the population were as samples. Data were collected by observation, interview and documentation. Then, the data was analyzed by using data reduction, data display, and concluding. Findings show that the obstacles of social and economy faced by family: 47.20% of Kajenengan villagers are as farm labors, 28,57 % of  villagers get the average income per day from IDR 21,000 up to IDR 30,000,  33.73% of them have 5-6 family members in their nuclear family, and 32.80% of them who prioritize in education, especially on nine-years compulsory education program.  Then, there are only 8.73% of samples who implement the nine-year compulsory education program. Moreover, 47.62% family leaders say that most of their family members join the nine-year compulsory education and 43.65% of the family leaders say that all of their family members do not join the nine-year compulsory education at all.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the factors inhibiting interest in entrepreneurship, especially in martabak entrepreneurs in Lebaksiu District, Tegal Regency. As the object of this research is in Lebaksiu Subdistrict which is divided into17 villages, researchers used sample three villages namely Lebaksiu Lor, Lebaksiu Kidul and Kajen. Descriptive qualitative methods is a method applied in this research. The data collection techniques used are with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the inhibiting factors in martabak entrepreneurship concisted of factors originating from internal and external factors. Detected internal factors arise from within the entrepreneur martabak such as personal characteristics, experience, ability to control a business and capital factors. The second inhibiting factor is an external factor, which this factor comes from outside the private entrepreneur martabak which includes the environment, recruitment of employees who are proficient in martabak making and promotion to the mass media.

Abstract

Karir guru merupakan posisi atau jabatan yang diduduki selama ia menekuni profesi keguruan. Data dari Dinas Pendidikan Kota Tegal Tahun 2015 terdapat 1.253 orang guru golongan IV, dengan rincian 2 orang guru golongan IV/c, 17 orang guru golongan IV/b dan 1.234 orang guru masih bergolongan IV/a. Adapun guru IPS SMA/MA/SMK di Kota Tegal yang menduduki golongan IV/b hanya 2 orang dan 57 guru masih berada di golongan IV/a dengan rentang waktu kemandegan karir lebih dari 8 tahun. Tertundanya kepangkatan guru inilah yang menjadi dasar pemikiran melakukan penelitian terhadap kemandegan karir guru IPS SMA/ MA/ SMK Negeri di Kota Tegal dan melakukan analisis yang mendalam terhadap faktor tersebut. Ada 3 faktor kuat yang diduga sangat berpengaruh terhadap kemandegan karir guru yaitu, (1) motivasi; (2) lingkungan kerja; (3) dukungan atasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional asosiatif, metode yang digunakan bersifat ex post facto dengan populasi 59 guru IPS SMA/MA/SMK Negeri yang berstatus PNS. Populasi yang kurang dari 100 mengakibatkan populasi dalam penelitian ini sekaligus menjadi sampel penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan SPSS for windows vs 15 dengan hasil bahwa motivasi, lingkungan kerja dan dukungan atasan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kemandegan karir guru IPS SMA/MA/SMK Negeri di Kota Tegal. Disarankan bagi Dinas Pendidikan Kota Tegal, hendaknya selalu menghimbau agar senantiasa tertib administrasi, pengembangan sikap profesionalisme sehingga guru termotivasi untuk mengembangkan karirnya dengan baik. Kata kunci: motivasi, lingkungan kerja, dukungan atasan, kemandegan karir.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and find out in depth the learning of creative products and entrepreneurship in class XII students through the use of the business center at SMK PGRI Tegal City. The sources of information in this study were teachers of creative products and entrepreneurship, business center administrators, and 3 students of class XII of the Marketing Expertise Program. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using a case study descriptive analysis technique with the stages of data collection, data analysis, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that learning creative products and entrepreneurship has taken advantage of the business center. Through the use of the business center, the entrepreneurial spirit of students grows to enter the business world. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that 1) For teachers, it is expected to be able to take full advantage of the school's business center facilities, 2) For School Leaders, school leaders are expected to evaluate the implementation of learning that occurs in schools, supervise the use of school facilities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of craft and entrepreneurship learning outcomes (PKWU) students of class XI IPS Jatibarang 1 High School through a team game tournament learning (uno stacko challenge). The population was students of class XI totaling 90 people. Sampling uses a cluster sampling technique. Samples were taken as many as 2 classes, one experimental class with 29 students and one control class with 32 students. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and tests. The test instruments were using validity, data reliability, difficulty level and different test, while the hypothesis test used t-test assisted by SPSS program. The descriptive analysis calculation states that the average learning class completeness in the experimental class increased by 34.4% compared to the previous one. Significance on Levene’s Test shows a number of 0.071 this means normal and homogeneous data. While the significance value (2-tailed) is known to be 0,000 with a significance level of 5%, it can be said that the hypothesis that the team games tournament learning with uno stacko challenge games is effectively implemented in order to improve craft learning outcomes and entrepreneurship is acceptable. In an effort to improve education, especially in the learning process, teachers must be able to apply various learning models. The goal is that students are more active, can cooperate, practice concentration and be able to solve learning problems so that the learning outcomes of each subject also increase. Principals as policy makers at the lowest level participate to help improve teacher competency through the provision of training learning models and the use of media as a learning tool.Keyword: Team Games Tournament, Uno Stacko, Study Result

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining on accounting subjects in class XI Accounting of SMK 1 Dukuhturi. A quantitative approach with the quasi experimental design used in this research. The population is 180 students. The sampling technique used purposive cluster sampling and obtained two classes or as many as 72 students who were used as research samples. The t test is used to analyze data collected through observation, tests and documentation. The results showed that the calculation of the t test was 6.01 (tcount = 6.01).With degrees of freedom (dk) = 36 + 36 - 2 = 70, the significance level is 5% and the price is ttable = 2,000. This can be interpreted tcount > ttable , (6.01 > 2,000), so this research states that the cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining is effective to be used in accounting subjects in class XI Accounting of SMK 1 Dukuhturi. The effectiveness of using this model is one of the creative learning alternatives that can be applied in schools

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh sebagian guru MGMP Ekonomi SMA adalah kurang pahamnya guru terhadap pasar modal dan mekanismenya, sehingga materi tersebut tidak tersampaikan dengan baik kepada siswa. Maka kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru ekonomi dalam memahamkan materi pasar modal kepada siswa, 2) Guru dapat menjadi mediator juga fasilitator untuk para investor baru dikalangan muda, 3) Mindset guru terhadap investasi surat berharga di lantai bursa diharapkan berubah. Metode program meliputi metode kegiatan dan metode pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan meyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Masih banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru Ekonomi di SMA terkait penguasaan materi pasar modal yang membutuhkan pemahaman mendalam bagi guru. 2) Guru ekonomi SMA yang tergabung dalam MGMP Ekonomi memperoleh materi mengenai pasar modal dengan lebih kompleks. 3) Peserta antusias untuk berinvestasi melalui smart phone yang mereka miliki setelah mengetahui bahwa untuk berinvestasi di pasar modal sangat mudah, murah dan praktis. Apabila antusiasme ini dibawa ke kelas pada proses pembelajaran, maka akan muncul banyak investor lokal dari kalangan muda yang berasal dari siswa.

Abstract

Profesionalisme guru adalah kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan fungsi dan tugasnya dalam lapanganpendidikan yang di peroleh melalui pendidikan dan latihan lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujiapakah profesionalisme guru dan motivasi guru berpengaruh secara simultan dan parsial terhadap jenjangkarir guru SD di Kecamatan Kramat Kabupaten Tegal.Popolasi penelitian adalah guru SD yang berstatuspegawai negeri sipil dengan pangkat/ golongan IV/a berjumlah 166 orang guru dan IV/b yang berjumlah 2orang guru. Sampel di ambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga di peroleh sampel sebesar42 orang guru yaitu 40 orang dengan pangkat IV/a dan 2 orang dengan pangkat IV/b. Data penelitiandianalisis dengan menggunakan alat statistik, yaitu uji F untuk mengetahui secara keseluruhan pengaruh darisemua variabel independent secara simultan terhadap variabel dependent.Hasil penelitian dapat di lihat dariuji ANOVA atau F test, diperoleh F hitung sebesar 134,659 dengan tingkat probabilitas 0.000 (signifikansi).Karena probabilitas jauh lebih kecil dari 0,01, maka model regresi dapat dikatakan bahwaindependentvariable yaitu Profesionalisme Guru dan Motivasi Gurusecara simultan berpengaruh terhadap Jenjang KarierGuru SD di Kecamatan Kramat, Kabupaten Tegal.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah dasar kelas rendah membutuhkan motivasi yang tinggi. Pendidikandi klas rendah ini innovasi dan kreatifitas sangat di perlukan untuk mewujudkan motivasi,innovasi dan kreatifitas tersebut diperlukan berupa pendampingan pada guru sekolah dasardengan metode pembelajaran PAIKEM GEMBROT. Sistem pembelajaran PAIKEM GEMBROTmerupakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dengan media yang sederhana dan mudahdiadakan yaitu dengan media kertas atau semacamnya yang dibentuk dan dipotong sesuaikreasi dan innovasi guru agar dapat menarik bagi siswa, kemudian diberi tulisan yang terdiridari satu kata saja dalam pokok bahasan tertentu kemudian kata tersebut dicari makna,sinonim, antonim dan lain-lain, kemudian dilakukan berpasangan dimana siswa yang satumencari pasangan dengan siswa yang lain dipandu dan atau diawasi oleh guru di klasrendah tersebut, Jadi intinya membantu siswa mempermudah pemahaman materi pokokbahasan atau sub pokok bahasan sehingga siswa dapat memahami pokok bahasan tersebutdan guru dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan tersebut
