Abstract

Temanggung is one of the most important tobacco centers in Indonesia. Based on the results of the agricultural census in 2013, the number of farm household tobacco plantations commodities reached 55.17% that spread over 20 districts. This tobacco production has fluctuated from year to year, caused by several factors that affect the production of tobacco, such as unpredictable weather. This study aims to measure the tobacco farmers knowledge about Pranata Mangsa; to create community-based lesson plan that is appropriate for the learning about the used of Rain Characteristic Data and Pranata Mangsa; and then to find out the farmer’s skill to determine the best period of tobacco planting after learning about the used of Rain Characteristic Data and Pranata Mangsa. The Research conducted on tobacco farmers in Rowo village. This study was designed as an experimental research, that using quantitative analysis methods such as percentage calculation and analysis of different test (t-test) to find out the difference or the same determination the best period of tobacco planting  between the group given treatment and a group that was not given treatment. The results of t-test, showed that there were differences in determining the best period of tobacco planting  between the group given treatment and were not given treatment. Therefore, treatment in the form of learning material and methods, affected farmers in determining the best period of tobacco planting, which means that the lesson plan is feasible in the learning activities

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to develop “CH-CD Electrolyte Solution Test Tools” Game for Teaching Spoken Procedure Text to Twelfth Graders of Senior High School. The subjects of this research were XII MIPA 2 and XII MIPA 6 SMAN 11 Semarang students in the academic year of 2016/2017.The process of this research was conducted in seven stages. The data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitatives methods. The researcher used t-test formula to analyze the data. Principally, the object of R&D is managing and developing the effectiveness of product applied at schools. The researcher gives the name of this game by own words, it is “CH-CD Electrolyte Solution Test Tools” game.The result of the research shows that “CH-CD Electrolyte Solution Test Tools” game can develop students’ speaking ability. This successfulness can be seen from the result of increasing students’ average score and good responses by studentsafter practising“CH-CD Electrolyte Solution Test Tools” game. The result of the research can be concluded that by using “CH-CD Electrolyte Solution Test Tools” game in teaching spoken procedure text, teacher can improve students’ ability in speaking. And it is hoped that it can be valuable as the information resource for all people.

Abstract

Confidence is a very important factor in influencing one's success, self-confidence. Many of a person's success is determined by self-confidence. because with confidence one becomes optimistic, and firm in making decisions. With a strong belief that a person gains great strength in achieving success. Confidence is obtained through many processes, not innate or inherited from birth. Self-confidence does not just come but is influenced by various factors in life. Therefore, self-confidence is the result of an interactive process, so self-confidence can be developed. One way to develop or increase self-confidence is by using sociodrama techniques. Sociodrama is a technique in group guidance, namely role play aimed at solving social problems that arise in human relations. With the sociodrama technique, it is hoped that the self-confidence of these teenagers can increase. Because adolescent self-confidence is influenced by their social interactions, for this reason, sociodrama is an appropriate technique for increasing self-confidence

Abstract

Dental and oral health problems based on RISKESDAS 2018 data were recorded at 57.6%. In Wonogiri, the most common dental and oral health problem is regarding the lack of knowledge of brushing teeth. Efforts to improve knowledge of brushing teeth through education activities with the Domikado game method. This study aims to determine the Domikado Game Method as a education’s media to increase Toothbrushing Knowledge Improvement in 02 Tanggulangin Elementary School Students.This type of research uses quantitative descriptive with a pre-experimental research method and the research design used is one group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study was taken using a saturated sample technique totaling 54 styudents. Knowledge measurement was carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis.The results of the study showed an increase in knowledge of brushing teeth which was originally in the moderate category of 41 (76%) students to a good category of 43 (80%) students. The conclusion of this study is that eduaction using the domikado game tends to be effective in increasing knowledge about brushing teeth because the domikado game is very interesting for elementary school students, most of whom are very enthusiastic about the game, trains students' concentration and the game is very exciting to play.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah (1) meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kewajiban mengurus jenazah, (2) meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang tatacara perawatan jenazah, (3) terbentuknya tim putra dan tim putri dalam perawatan jenazah di lingkungan masyarakat desa Sirnoboyo, (4) terbentuknya kemandirian masyarakat dalam perawatan jenazah. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi dan praktek perawatan jenazah dengan media boneka. Peserta pelatihan ini ada sekitar 120 orang,terdiri dari laki-laki dan perempuan  warga masyarakat Desa Sirnoboyo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terbagi menjadi dua tahapan yaitu pertama pemaparan materi dan diskusi terkait teknis perawatan jenazah dan tahap yang kedua praktek perawatan jenazah meliputi praktek memandikan dan mengkafani jenazah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa 96 orang peserta setara dengan 80% dari jumlah keseluruhan peserta memahami materi tentang perawatan jenazah dan mampu mempraktekkan proses pemandian dan pemakaian kafan secara benar dan siap terlibat dalam proses perawatan jenazah di lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggal.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the argumentative text writing skills of 12th-grade students in class XII F at SMA N 11 Semarang through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. Writing argumentative texts is an essential competency for students to develop critical, logical, and systematic thinking skills. However, initial observations revealed that students' ability to write argumentative texts was relatively low. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart, which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 36 students from class XII F at SMA N 11 Semarang in the academic year 2024/2025. Data were collected through observation, interviews, writing tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings show that implementing the Project-Based Learning model significantly improved students' argumentative writing skills. In Cycle I, the average student writing score was 70, which increased to 82 in Cycle II. Additionally, students' motivation and participation levels also showed significant improvement. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model is effective in enhancing the argumentative writing skills of 12th-grade students in class XII F at SMA N 11 Semarang.

Dimana penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Procedure Text Bahasa Inggris melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, hasil wawancara, lembar soal tes akhir siklus, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis dan pengamatan hasil dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh informasi bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dapat terlihat pada siklus I rata-rata persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80,6. Sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 88,4. Pada siklus I masih ada siswa yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM yaitu 70, namun pada siklus Il nilai terendahnya adalah 80 dan sudah tidak ada lagi siswa yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
