Abstract

This study aims to apply the GR4J model as rainfall-runoff modeling in Tajum watershed to get four free parameters obtained from daily rainfall data. In this study, input data is in the form of daily rainfall data and potential evapotranspiration data. The output of calculated discharged is calibrated using observations of daily discharge data. This modeling optimizes four free parameters of the Maximum Capacity of Production Store (X 1), Groundwater Coefficient (X 2), Maximum Capacity of Routing Store (X 3), and Peak Time of Ordinate Unit Hydrograph (X 4).  The optimum values of the modeling parameters of GR4J are obtained from the criterion of the smallest discrepancies between calculated and observed data, which are Nash-Sutcliffe Coefficient (NS), the correlation coefficient values and methods of Relative Volume Error (RVE). There are three stages in this modeling, namely: model calibration, model verification and model validation. Model calibration is carried out by using the first five years of data and verification of models uses the second five years of data. Comparisons of GR4J with other two rainfall-runoff models, Mock and SAC-SMA Models, were also carried. Results of this study indicate that GR4J model shows better performance than the Mock models and SAC-SMA models in terms of the criterion evaluated. Keywords: Tajum watershed, water availability, rainfall-runoff, GR4J models

Abstract

Scour on the unpaved shoulder of the road is an interesting phenomenon that is still quite new in terms of analysis and discussion so that still needs further publication, since most of the roads in Indonesia has many national, provincial, district and village roads have unpaved shoulders. One cause scours in the shoulder of the road is the runoff of rain. The runoff flowing on the unpaved shoulder road, resulting in sediment transport from the upstream to the lower elevation of road shoulder. It is necessary to analyse the influence of the road geometry and intensity of the rain to scour depths of the road shoulder. In this publication conducted multivariable analysis in the influence of road geometry and rain intensity against scour depth in the unpaved shoulder of the road. The analysis starts from primary data collection in the form of a soil sample originating from the road shoulder and road geometry on some streets in Central Java, as well as secondary data in the form of rainfall data at the rain station in Central Java. The primary data in the form of soil samples, were tested in the laboratory to obtain sediment grain diameter D50, specific gravity, and the type of soil samples. Primary data that have been tested in the laboratory, as well as secondary data, then analyzed using multivariate analysis to obtain the equation model for the depth of scour at the shoulder of the road due to the influence of the road geometry and intensity of rainfall. Equation depth of scour at the curb multivariable analysis provides equal results are quite close to the depth of the data collection in the field. The results of the equation also shows that the scour depth of scour at the shoulder of the road were most affected by the slope of the cross street (Sl), and successively followed by the influence of the slope of the elongated path (Sp), the rainfall intensity (I), and the diameter of the granules (D50), where each regression coefficient row is 1223.067; 941.233; 0.8321; and 0.183. Results of multivariable analysis on shoulder scour equation provides multiple regression statistical value R of 0.946, R square of 0.894, adjusted R square of 0.869, and the standard error of 55.344.

Abstract

This paper presents the scour pattern on the unpaved shoulder of the road for 5 samples with 3 variations of soil type. Each sample was tested using models of the body and the shoulder of the road in accordance with conditions on the field, which is simulated using a variation of the transverse slope of the road, the longitudinal slope, and rainfall intensity. The experimental results showed that the sandy soil provides smaller damage than the inorganic clay and silt inorganic.Gerusan di bahu jalan yang tidak diperkeras merupakan fenomena menarik yang perlu diteliti lebih lanjut.Pada makalah ini, disajikan mengenai pola gerusan di bahu jalan yang tidak diperkeras untuk 5 sampel bahu jalan dengan 3 variasi jenis tanah.Masing-masing sampel diuji dengan membuat model badan dan bahu jalan sesuai dengan kondisi di lapangan, yang disimulasikan menggunakan variasi kemiringan melintang jalan, kemiringan memanjang jalan, dan intensitas hujan.Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa tanah pasir memberikan kerusakan yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan tanah lempung anorganik dan lanau anorganik.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know bamboo influence to the physical, and chemical characteristic, and water quality. Parameters observed are temperature, color, taste, odor, pH,DO (dissolved oxygen), BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) and COD (biochemical oxygen demand). The result showed that bamboo influence to the physical and chemical characteristic is smaller effect, except to the DO and COD parameters, it is polynomial change. The result of water quality showed that water to bamboo distribution is suitable used to drinking water resources.

Abstract

Dusun Siwarak Kulon merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Desa Watuagung yang terletak di ketinggian 200- 250 MDPL di kawasan hutan pinus Perum Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (KPH) Banyumas. Di sini terdapat sebuah Sekolah Dasar yang ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung pendidikan formal dan kegiatan ekstra yang terbatas. Kemampuan pada penggunaan Microsoft Office merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menunjang pendidikan formal, oleh karena itu  kegiatan workshop penggunaan Microsoft Office untuk pendidikan dasar sangat dibutuhkan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi tentang penggunaan Microsoft Office. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode presentasi materi dan praktik sederhana. Hasil worskhop menunjukan nilai rata-rata pre test peserta adalah 37.39, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test peserta adalah 72.60.  Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa kegiatan workshop menunjukan adanya dampak peningkatan dalam pemahaman dan ketrampilan peserta dalam penggunaan komputer dan pengoperasian aplikasi Microsft Office.

Abstract

Segara Anakan is a semi-enclosed lagoon that serves as a transitional zone between fluvial and marine environments, characterized by complex, dynamic morphological features. The hydrodynamic conditions in this area strongly influence sediment transport and deposition, which, in turn, affect the morphological evolution of the lagoon over time. This study aims to analyze current patterns and bottom sediment distribution in Segara Anakan and to identify the relationship between current dynamics and sediment characteristics. The data used include primary data from bottom sediment sampling at 21 observation stations and secondary data on bathymetry, tides, and river discharge. Current modeling was conducted using the Surface-water Modeling System (SMS) with the RMA2 module, while sediment analysis was conducted using a grain-size test by the sieve method. The modeling results show that the maximum current velocity reaches 0.907 m/s, with flow directions varying according to the lagoon’s morphology. Sediment analysis results indicate that sand is the dominant fraction at 13 stations, while mixed sediments are found in the central part of the lagoon. These findings suggest that tidal current strength plays a significant role in controlling sediment transport and deposition patterns within the Segara Anakan lagoon.

Abstract

Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes, memiliki potensi wisata alam, wisata budaya, dan wisata pendidikan yang dilengkapi dengan homestay, warung kopi, dll. Namun, dalam pengelolaannya terdapat permasalahan antara lain; pengunjungnya mengalami penurunanrata-rata 60 %, masih terbatas pada wisatawan domestik, tempat wisata jauh dari jalan utama,akses jalannya sempit dan rusak. Program pengembangan desa wisata di Desa Pandansari direncanakan 3 (tiga) tahun ke depan dengan melalui konsep makro dan mikro dengan membetukzona utama dan zona pendukung untuk membentuk jalur keterhubungan antar zona dan obyekdaya tarik wisata. Zona Utama adalah menuju wisata Desa Pandansari. Zona Pendukung adalahdimulai dari Desa Taraban, Kretek, Wanatirta, Ragatunjung Cipetung, Pandansari. Program tahunpertama antara lain: sosialisasi perencanaan zona, penyegaran kelompak bumdes dan pokdarwis, serta penguatan UMKM yang sudah ada diberikan bekal manajemen pemasaran dan penguatan modal melalui pembentukan prakoperasi syariah. Kegiatan dengan membuat rencanapengembangan usaha Bumdes, pengembangan wisata alam yang sudah ada dengan membuatkonsep yang unik dan menarik Masyarakat yaitu wisatawan bertani. Kendala program ini adalahpetani belum bisa mendukung sepenuhnya adanya konsep wisata yang akan direncanakan. Halini dikarenakan kebutuhan petani yang mendesak, biaya yang segera ada. Mereka masih berpikir,bahwa pariwisata, tidak bisa memberi kontribusi dalam waktu yang segera.

Abstract

Sampai dengan akhir tahun 2023, target bauran energi primer energi baru terbarukan (EBT) baru mencapai 15,7%, masih memerlukan upaya yang konkrit dan terencana untuk mencapai target Bauran 23% di tahun 2025 dan 34% di tahun 2030.  Sebagai salah satu usaha ikut berkontribusi dalam pengembangan energi air maka penulis dan tim mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tujuan memanfaatkan potensi energi listrik dari energi potensial air sepanjang aliran sungai dalam kapasitas relatif kecil yaitu 1.000 watt, disebut pikohidro, untuk penerangan jalan di grumbul Plawetan, kecamatan Tambak, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan tahapan kedua karena pada tahun sebelumnya telah dibangun rumah pembangkit berisi turbin-generator yang ditentukan berdasar hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan kapasitas daya pada sungai yang mengaliran di daerah tersebut. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan: (1) membangun bendung pada aliran sungai. (2) membuat saluran air dari bendung ke rumah pembangkit, tepatnya agar energi potensial air dapat memutar turbin-generator, (3) distribusi daya listrik dari generator ke penerangan jalan umum (PJU), dan (4) pengujian nyala PJU.  Hasilnya PJU sebanyak 15 lampu LED masing-masing berkapasitas daya 15 watt dan  dummy load berupa lampu 2x200 watt dan 2x75 watt dapat menyala dengan tegangan 205 volt pada sisi beban lampu yang sesuai dengan standar PLN, yaitu SPLN 1: 1995, yakni tegangan diperbolehkan maksimum 5% dan maksimum 10% terhadap tegangan normal.  Pada tegangan nominal 220 volt maka rentang tegangan yang sesuai adalah 198 s.d. 232 volt.  Mengingat di daerah perbukitan dan distribusi sepanjang sekitar 700 meter maka digunakan kabel SR 2x10 mm2 yang menggunakan isolator XPLE dan resistansi 1,83 ohm/km panjang, sehingga dari perhitungan drop voltage yang terjadi sekitar 9,5 volt.  Dengan tercapainya tujuan kegiatan maka keamanan dan kenyamanan aktivitas warga terutama pada malam hari dapat meningkat.
