Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands early coding education in elementary schools. Coding enhances students' logical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future challenges. This research explores the urgency of coding education in Indonesia through a qualitative literature review. Findings show that coding promotes computational thinking and 21st century skills. However, its implementation faces challenges, such as lack of teacher training, limited infrastructure and gaps in the curriculum. The government and education stakeholders should integrate coding into the primary school curriculum, provide training for teachers and develop supporting infrastructure. Addressing these challenges will ensure coding education benefits Indonesian students, equipping them for the digital age.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the application of the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model to support PJOK learning activities in junior high schools in peri-urban areas in improving students' attitudes and responsibilities. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. The respondents of this research were 10 PJOK SMP teachers in the West Sleman area, determining the number of respondents using the Slovin formula and an error tolerance of 10%. The sampling technique for this research uses cluster random sampling. Research data was collected using interviews. The results show that teachers in PJOK learning at school have never used the TPSR model approach to foster students' social and responsibility. Teachers only focus on student participation in taking part in PJOK learning, and the assessments carried out by teachers still focus on psychomotor assessments. The forms of games created by PJOK teachers are still limited to the aim of growing student fitness and have not yet led to the implementation of student character such as a sense of responsibility and social responsibility at school. The conclusion of this research is that a PJOK learning model based on Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) needs to be implemented to improve students' attitudes and responsibilities in schools located in peri-urban areas.

Abstract

In 2020, malaria cases worldwide increased from 219 million cases to 241 million cases with 627 thousand deaths. This creates problems in terms of the availability of malaria drugs. In addition, resistance to Plasmodium sp. against the commonly used malaria drug chloroquine is another problem. Therefore, in the treatment of malaria, combination-based treatment with artemisinin is highly recommended. However, there are obstacles in the production of artemisinin because its content in plants is relatively low. Therefore, this research aims to increase artemisinin content using endophytic bacteria. The method used is a factorial design with 2 factors, namely Accessions (Green & Purple) and endophytic bacteria concentration (0%, 1%, and 2%). Endophytic bacteria isolated from artemisinin plants were first cultured in a nutrient-rich medium to increase their population. Then, they were inoculated by spraying them twice a week for two months with each accession in each treatment combination. The results showed that inoculation with endophytic bacteria had the best concentration in increasing artemisinin content, namely 1% in green and purple Artemisia accessions. Artemisinin inoculation of 1% was able to increase artemisinin by 27.85% compared to control plants in green Artemisia and purple Artemisia accessions with an increase of 32.89% compared to control plants. The best concentration of endophytic bacteria in increasing artemisinin content is 1%.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines psychoeducational intervention models integrated into physical activity programs and their relevance to health-related outcomes. The review synthesizes evidence from multidisciplinary studies addressing psychological, behavioral, and physical dimensions of health across diverse populations. Findings indicate that psychoeducational components, including health education, self-efficacy enhancement, motivational support, and reflective practices, strengthen the effectiveness of physical activity interventions by promoting sustained behavioral change and psychological well-being. These models demonstrate consistent benefits in improving mental health indicators, adherence to physical activity, and overall quality of life in both clinical and non-clinical settings. The review also highlights the importance of program structure, participant engagement, and contextual adaptation in determining intervention success. Furthermore, the growing integration of digital health technologies expands opportunities for scalable and personalized psychoeducational delivery within physical activity programs. Psychoeducational intervention models offer a comprehensive framework for advancing health promotion strategies in the field of physical activity and sports health. Future development should prioritize holistic, evidence-based, and context-sensitive approaches to maximize long-term health outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the feasibility of teaching tools based on the TPSR model in fostering student responsibility during PJOK learning in junior high school, 2) analyze the effectiveness of the TPSR model in fostering student responsibility during PJOK learning in junior high school. This study is a research and development using the steps of 4D, namely: define, design, development and disseminate. The research subjects were 8th grade students of junior high schools in Moyudan District. The trial conducted included two stages, namely a small-scale trial conducted on 32 students and a large-scale trial conducted on 64 students. The research instrument used observation guidelines. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analysis in the form of the Aiken index, normality prerequisite test and paired sample t-test homogeneity test. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the product of the learning tool to foster personal and social responsibility of 8th grade students produced was feasible by meeting valid and practical criteria. The average V value = 0.95 with high criteria. (2) based on data analysis, the module product effectively fosters personal and social responsibility in junior high school students with the results of the paired sample t test obtaining a value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05, so there is a significant influence of the TPSR model soccer material learning device on personal and social responsibility. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the TPSR-based soccer game learning device in fostering the value of personal and social responsibility in junior high school students, and is feasible, practical, and effective for use in fostering the value of personal and social responsibility in junior high school students.
