Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan perencanaan atau perancangan sebagai upaya untuk membelajarkan siswa. Melalui proses ini siswa tidak hanya berinteraksi dengan guru. Namun, siswa juga berinteraksi dengan keseluruhan sumber belajar yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan belajar yang diinginkan (Uno, 2006). Siswa akan belajar secara optimal jika kondisi pembelajaran di kelas dapat tercipta secara kondusif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara awal guru (Lampiran2, halaman 84) diperoleh informasi bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII 1 di SMP N 16 Jakarta sekitar 50%nya masih dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (65) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 56. selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran Biologi masih menemui beberapa kendala. Hal ini diketahui dari angket (Lampiran 1, halaman 82) yang dibagikan ke 50 siswa. Lima puluh empat persen siswa mengatakan bahwa selama ini cara penyajian guru dalam menyampaikan materi masih kurang jelas. Guru Biologi di SMP N 16 Jakarta mengatakan bahwa pendapat siswa tersebut disebabkan karena selama ini guru belum pernah memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang tersedia di sekolah

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the implementation of policies on reducing human activity regarding the covid-19 outbreak to the concentration of air pollution in March 2020 in the Jakarta area using a comparison of the time series of PM10 and PM2.5 hourly calculations calculated to be the daily average in March by applying the Pearson correlation equation and scatter diagram to obtain a pattern of relationships in the form of positive, negative or non-linear and the degree of weak, strong or perfect relationship between variables. The main contributions of this research are as follows: Evaluation of the significance of the decrease in the concentration value of the average PM10 and PM2.5 in March 2020 with a correlation to March variables in the previous year based on the acquisition of qualitative results in the form of a graph of the trend of decreasing PM10 and PM2.5 in March 2020 compared to March of the previous year and quantitative in the form of a negative correlation with the Pearson moment and scatter diagram showing a decrease in March 2020 compared to March of the previous year so that the policy of reducing human activity in a response to the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on a better air quality condition in Jakarta.

Abstract

Intruduction:The waste problem in Indonesia is the large amount of garbage waste, the lack of landfills andwaste processing facilities, resulting in a source of pollution and endangering health. In Ponorogo Regencyin the last three years, garbage has accumulated reaching 149 m3 / day with a percentage of the amountof organic waste amounting to 44.76%. Methods: This type of research is True Experimental, Posttest-Only Control design. The study used 80 ml cattle rumen activator, 80 ml EM4 activator, compost mixtureactivator with 60 ml EM4 + 20 ml livestock rumen activator mixture and 20 ml EM4 + 60 ml cattle rumenactivator, and without activator (control) assessed the level of compost maturity and for tested the NPKlevels and the C / N ratio. The raw material is 3 kg of organic waste with 5 times replication, so that 25fruit samples are needed and 75 kg of organic waste material. Results: The results showed that the compostconcentration was the same as the activator cattle rumen 80 ml, 80 ml EM4, and 60 ml EM4 + 20 ml cattlerumen ripened faster with an average time of 17 days. The results of the measurement of chemical qualitycompost have the best chemical content of SNI 19-7030-2004 compost activator 60 ml + 20 ml EM4 cattlerumen. Conclusions: The conclusion of research on the composting process of waste to be more effectiverequires an activator material. In addition to the activator material, it is necessary to pay attention to thequality of the activator material.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pemetaan bahaya gempa bumi di Maluku Utara menggunakan skenario gempa bumi Halmahera 11 September 2008 dengan magnitudo 7,6. Analisis menggunakan metode deterministik dengan fungsi atenuasi Zao et al modifikasi untuk wilayah Sulawesi. Parameter yang digunakan dalam perhitungan yaitu magnitudo, kedalaman gempa bumi, jarak pusat gempa ke lokasi penelitian, mekanisme sumber, dan Vs30. Diperoleh hasil berupa sebaran PGA dan Intensitas gempa bumi di Maluku Utara berkisar antara 0,006g hingga 1,85g, dengan intensitas gempa bumi berkisar antara III MMI hingga VIII MMI. Nilai PGA dan intensitas gempa bumi terbesar berada pada wilayah Halmahera Barat dan Halmahera Utara, dimana wilayah ini berdekatan dengan sumber gempa. Earthquake hazard mapping on Halmahera Island has been carried out using the scenario of the September 11, 2008 Halmahera earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6. Analysis using deterministic methods with attenuation function Zao et al modification for Sulawesi region. The parameters used in the calculation are magnitude, earthquake depth, epicenter distance to the research location, source mechanism, and Vs30. Results obtained in the form of distribution of PGA and earthquake intensity in North Maluku ranged from 0.006g to 1.85g, with earthquake intensity ranging from III MMI to VIII MMI. The greatest PGA value and earthquake intensity are in the West and North Halmahera region, where the area is close to the source of the earthquake.

Abstract

Secara seismotektonik, Kabupaten dan Kota Bekasi dipengaruhi oleh gempa bumi yang berasal dari zona subduksi di selatan Jawa dan patahan aktif yang ada di sekitar wilayah tersebut. Penelitian terbaru memaparkan adanya patahan aktif kepanjangan dari patahan Baribis, yang melintang dari Purwakarta, Cibatu (Bekasi), Tangerang, dan Rangkasbitung yang memiliki kemungkinan menimbulkan gempa bumi di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bahaya gempa bumi di Kabupaten dan Kota Bekasi menggunakan pendekatan skenario gempa bumi. Data historis dan parameter gempa bumi di sekitar area penelitian diperoleh dari BMKG, USGS, ISC dan katalog global CMT. Geometri patahan Baribis merujuk pada penelitian Koulali et al. Event based dan simple fault source PSHA (Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis) dipergunakan untuk memperkirakan bahaya gempa bumi di area studi. Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) di batuan dasar yang sesuai dengan probabilitas terlampaui 2% dalam 50 tahun dihitung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat bahaya gempa bumi di Kabupaten dan Kota Bekasi dari historis gempa bumi yang pernah terjadi maupun skenario gempa bumi yang bersumber dari kepanjangan patahan Baribis yang kemungkinan dapat terjadi di masa depan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam perencanaan strategis untuk mitigasi gempa bumi di Kabupaten dan Kota Bekasi. Seismotectically, Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City are affected by earthquakes originating from subduction zones in the south of Java and active faults around the area. The latest research describes the existence of active faults extending from the Baribis fault, which crosses from Purwakarta, Cibatu (Bekasi), Tangerang and Rangkasbitung which have the possibility of causing future earthquakes. This study aims to analyze seismic hazards in Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City based on an earthquake scenario approach. Historical data and earthquake parameters around the study area were obtained from BMKG, USGS, ISC and the CMT global catalog. The Baribis fault geometry refers to the study of Koulali et al. Event based and simple fault source PSHA (Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis) were used to estimate seismic hazards in the study area. Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) at bedrock level corresponding to 2% exceedance of 50 years’ probability was calculated. The results of the study show the level of seismic hazard in Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City from the historical earthquakes that have occurred as well as the earthquake scenario that originated from the extension of the Baribis fault which might occur in the future. The results of the study are expected to be utilized in strategic planning for earthquake mitigation in Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City.

Abstract

The Railway Maintenance Center as stated in the Regulation has the duty and function of carrying out the maintenance of state-owned railway facilities. The part of rolling stock heavy maintenance with high potential hazard is Lifting Body Activities Using OHTC in Maintenance of Hydraulic Diesel Locomotive Facilities activity. it so there is a need for a risk assessment which is a process to determine control priorities for the level of risk work accident or occupational disease. Part of  OHSAS 18001:2007 Clouse 4.3.1. recommendation HIRADC methode for can support a safety system with 3 stage analisys (hazard identification, risk assessment, and control determination) The Hazard Identification  results obtained 3 aspects of hazard risk in OHTC Rolling stock Body Lifting operations with the following analysis results Crane toppling, Equipment failure, Load falling with Death & asset / property damage impact factor. Risk Assessment analisys of Rolling stock Body Lifting using OHTC obtained results action taken when resources are available regarding handling which in general were Administrative Control. Determine Control relevant steps to minimize potential hazards immediately (1) Evaluating SOP Rolling stock Body Lifting and conduct outreach to all employees related to the work, (2) Making and or adding hazard signs and (3) Human development by conducting Training/Refreshment Crane Operator and Signal man. (4) Strictness of the rules for using PPE for all employees related to the work as the last step in minimizing the risk of occupational hazards.

Abstract

This study was to investigate the influence of using group work and reading attitude towards the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement on narrative text. The population of this study was the eleventh grade students at Senior High School Puspita Air Kumbang. The sample was 60 students taken by using cluster random sampling. In carrying out of the research, the writer used an experimental method; factorial design. The writer distributed pretest, posttest, and attitude questionnaire in collecting the data. Then, in analyzing the data the writer used t-test and two-way ANOVA. The result of this study analysis indicated that; first, there was significant influence of group work technique towards the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement between those who had positive attitude and those who had negative attitude. Second, there was significant influence of conventional teaching technique towards the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement between those who have positive attitude and those who have negative attitude. Third, there was significant influence of group work technique and conventional teaching technique towards the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement between those who have positive attitude and those who have negative attitude. Forth, there is significant interaction effect of group work technique and reading attitude towards the eleventh grade students’ reading comprehension achievement between those who have positive attitude and those who have negative attitude.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is a feeling that occurs because of the impulse within or outside the human being to be excited about achieving a goal, as well as being a force that can influence hopes and ideals to be achieved. In this study, it was discussed about the material of the human digestive system of biology subjects that use the Problem Based Learning model associated with MindMapping to encourage students to have high motivation which will have a positive impact on achievement or learning outcomes. Differences with conventional learning models or lectures still have to be updated with problem-based learning models. Validation of this model uses a comparison between learning implementations that use experimental and control classes. Thecalculation results of this model are very significant using several inferential statistical tests. The use of this statistical test can obtain valid results. The results of the experimental class are 92.50 and the control class is 78.75.

Abstract

The study aims to find a comparison of the effectiveness of interactive learning media with powerpoint media on the results of studying the genetic substance of class XII students at Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya high school. The method used in this study is an experiment with research design is a nonfunctional control design group. The population in this study is 33 XII High School Science students Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. The sample used in the study is to group into two large groups by odd absenbs and even Numbers.Research obtained from: (1) the average student study results from both groups, experiment groups 1 and experiment groups 2, were obtained that the average for experiment groups 1 of 80,63, for experiment groups 2 of 65.88. (2) based on the t test results on both groups, the result of thitung gained by 0.017, in which case it is stated that thitung is smaller than the ttabel 0.05. Based on the average results of student study and hypothetical tests made by researchers it results that the use of interactive learning medium suggests a postif and is more effective in the increased study of students the genetic substance of a class XII Science 2 High School Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya
